I received mine a couple of days ago and omg these are amazing! I pair these with my KA17 dongle, and they can really sing! It is a very fun headphone and definitely recommend them to anybody!
@ReverendDr.Thomas I'm hearing lots of people from one end of the spectrum all the way to the other end of the spectrum with these. I have many pairs of hi-fi headphones and IEM's, and in my opinion, these are on par if not better than my sub $500.00 phones. But this is all subjective. I love the way the JT1'S sound.
@@ReverendDr.Thomas what’s your signal chain? Also, I would recommend burning them in if you believe in it or not. Mine were really bass heavy but then toned down after a day or two of blasting pink noise through them.
Scored an insane deal on these today. Hardly used like new for $25 😁. A few months back the same guy sold me a slightly used Moondrop Dawn Pro for $20 😮. So a waiting eagerly for his next buyer's remorse 😜.
Because I know everybody cares what I think, I got an Amazon Amazon alert that they were available. I bought a pair and then went back about 15 minutes later to pick up another pair for my friend and they were already sold out. I was blown away at the spaciousness of the wide sound and how clear it is. Definitely punch way above their weight. Pretty bass heavy for my particular tastes but interestingly, it’s not bloated and the base doesn’t interfere with the mids at all.. Whether you believe in it or not, I’ve threw some pink noise on them and cranked it for a day or two in a drawer and then listen to them again and the base was way toned down and they really had a nice sound. These were the first headphones I’ve bought in a really really long time that I listened to the first time and said oh yeah I’m keeping these. These will replace my ath50x for music production lounging around the house. They’re actually just honestly kind of fun to listen to especially when you hook them up to a dac/amp and even a little more if you throw on a balanced cable. The real testament of these is that they are not showing up used on eBay or forums and even Amazon doesn’t even have open box returns. Definitely a solid little headphone for the price. I will say they feel pretty cheap and flimsy. I’m sure the mods are coming.
HE I AM CONFUSED ON WHICH DAC TO GET WITH JT1, CAN YOU PLEASE RECOMMEND ME OUT OF THESE ( They have a little price variation so will that make any difference buying the high in price one) 7HZ - 71 [$36] FIIO X JADE AUDIO - KA11 [$36] HEADPHONE ZONE X DDHIFI - HI-RES DAC [$24] IFI AUDIO - GO LINK [$48]
These are really great for watching movies and concerts. Also gaming. Just a fantastic all rounder, but I still prefer the ft3 350ohm. These are wayyyyy easier to drive though, which makes them desirable for gaming strait out of a switch or a ps5/xbox controller.
I'm planning on getting these as my first headphones, I have Kiwi Ears Cadenza and Truthear Zero Red IEMs. Will these headphones be an upgrade in sound quality?
I owned an hd600 for music listening, and looking for another headphone to use while gaming, should i try the fiio jt1? Since most would say the hd600 is bad for gaming
Would you recommend these or hyperx cloud 3? For me both are same price so I’m not sure, I play a lot of games and listen to a lot of music as well, mostly game music from nier to destiny 2 osts and genshin music. Which one would be better for me?
@@PrimeAudioReviews thx for the recommendation, also do I need to buy a balance cable for better performance? If yes which one would you recommend I have a fix KA13 so should I get a cable?
I HAVE had THE jT1'S for 3 months and I have been very satisfied with them but my Cable developed a short does anyone know of a compatible cable that works with them?
I'd recommend the Moondrop Line V but note it only comes with a 4.4mm plug. ddHiFi makes some but they're a bit more expensive. Check out the FiiO LL-RC too.
Hi there! Recently got the JT1's and tested my hifiman he400se stock cable on them and they worked. I assume any third party cable for the he400se could work for the jt1.
@lute_cg if you can afford the extra money the he400se are absolutely superior and much more technical. However they are harder to drive so take that into consideration if you don't have an amp dac configuration of any kind.
@@PrimeAudioReviews even AliExpress vendors were charging that when I looked last week. It was showing backordered on Fiio's website, seemed like anyone who had one was gouging. I'll check again.
@@PrimeAudioReviews edit just checked AliExpress, Fiio has it for 69.99 pre-order. Won't ship until May 11. I can understand reviewers, but how have normies been getting these already?
They're 2 completely different things - wired vs wireless. It's unlikely the Q45 could come close to the audio quality of this, even it is a great Bluetooth headphone.

So good with ka17!
In that case, I must have received a dud unit, because mine were as muddy as a freshly-irrigated paddock. 😢

which one in Better, this or Audio technica m20x ?
Thank you! ❤
Greta review as ever. Just a question. How about these or the akg 361?
I'd say JT1 is a better choice. 361 is not as comfortable and has sharper highs.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks a lot for your advice and for taking the time. Greetings from Colombia

Yes, in some ways but it's apples to oranges comparing IEMs with headphones.

These are great for gaming.

What size earcups are these? same as K7XX or Hifiman 400se?
I have no idea. HFM blaclisted me ages ago so I don't have any of their headphones.

One more thing I’m Not a fan of too much bass, it should be tasteful but not too much.
I'd rec these. The Cloud 3 is good but JT1 has better audio quality.

@prime12602 no, the stock cable sounds great already. Only buy a balanced cable if you feel that you're not getting enough power.

A bit unrelated question but IEM on the left side looks beautiful. Which one is that?
It's the I\O Audio Volare.

It's been too many years since I last heard the SHP9500 so I can't say.

Yes, absolutely!
