This is the type of news that needs to go viral
Sad thing is it will not because there's no gloom or doom.
Share om all social media pages. I will.
@@bignew7136you brought the gloom and doom. Share om social media. That is how to get it to go viral.
@@bignew7136 it is getting out there. We are all seeing it and being encouraged by it.
Darn I have all this competition.
By the twinkle in his eye at the end, you can tell that’s a man at peace with the demons and the grief. So happy for him.
Amen to that👍
I hope these women that he has helped will pay him back by giving him a cooked meal especially during the holidays when widows and widowers feel the loneliest.
Exactly! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I thought the same thing
I would like to think they already did ❤
Being from the town I have seen dinner post, etc. He was given the chance to ride in our Halloween and Christmas parades too. He is also enjoying his fame thru this.
they did.
If I pass before my husband, I pray he finds a similar path. Between the horrific abuse he suffered in his childhood and the time in the military he spent in combat, now 50 - 60 years later, his PTSD still causes him to suffer from nightmares and depression. He doesn't even want to admit he has PTSD. All I can do is love and support him.
Thanks for sharing!
I hope the same for your husband!
Much respect 🙏🏽 🫡 to him for surviving his childhood and his sacrifice to the country. 😎
Bless you and your husband. Thank you for sharing this with us.
@charleyhorse1864 Yes, he does. We celebrated our 33rd anniversary ❤️ a few months ago.
This man is awesome. There are many people who need a helping hand.
25 years ago, it was hard to find someone to do small jobs around the house. I have a feeling it is even harder today to find someone who is willing to do these small jobs. May God continue to bless and protect Danny.
From the the bottom of my heart, I love you Danny because you have done a great job. Always help others and one day they will be able to help you out of your problem. That is how life is. But do not worry, the good Lord is up there watching us. He is looking at us down here. Someday this come to a reality. Do not worry. Solutions to your problems will come soon.
Amen 🙏
"It's more blessed to give than to receive".📖 Wow! Thank you, Danny!
I was 9 months old when I lost my dad in the Vietnam War. It makes me feel good watching stories about our vets. Caring for others. And helping others in need.
Sorry to hear about your dad the hero my thoughts and condolences to you. And yes what a wonderful thing for Danny to do! Hopefully this starts a trend of many people like Danny to spead across the world( we must think big!!)
The best thing I’ve heard in a long time. Honey Do Man gets my vote!!
What a wonderful man!
You, Sir! Are a Hero.
Your wife is smiling down on you. Take care!❤
Now that's a hero.
I wish he lived in my neighborhood. I could use a little help. What a nice guy.
How does Steve Hartman not cry❤ while reporting these stories
What a kind man. As the wife of a frail man, I can tell you that I really miss my husband's ability to do all those small jobs around the house. This guy is a mensch.
Dear Olga, yes, he's a "guter Mensch". Love, Corinna
@@corinnabuck-lachenmann54 I had to have UA-cam translate that. You're GOOD. Cheers.
And good wives should get their compliment and gratitude too. All the hard work you all do and cooking delicious foods. It puts smiles on their spouse's faces and hearts. CHEERS to All the AWESOME WIVES.
@@robertlee8805Dear Robert, thank you for reacting to my comment. Where I live in Germany we have a dialect that is called "schwäbisch" (Swabian). So I would ask my husband "tätsch mer bitte....." (honey do....). You must be a "guter Mensch" too, being full of appraisal for all the helpful actions people bestow on each other. Love, Corinna
Okay, this entire story is sweet, but his penchant for taking a photo to remember everyone he helped out is just next level wholesome.
😊 great story....... he's being productive not sitting around alone anymore 👏
BRILLIANT idea for him to offer help to folks needing a handyman 💪
Thank you for your service to our country.
Rudolf Steiner said the best thing a person of melancholic temperament could do is to help others.
One of the best news segments I've seen in a very long time, now that's a way to sublimate crisis into positivity
What a gentleman.
What a wonderful soul ❤ his wife truly married a gem 💎
Good Luck sir may you have Many Moments of Joy
Omg he's adorable ❤
He is awesome 😎
That is a real man! So happy to know he is out there!!
It's a Pleasure to share planet with these kind human beings .
Brought a happy tear to my eye.
Things like this make me so happy to be alive and be human! This is so beautiful
The Grace of God at work, and this beautiful man cooperating with it!🔥
I just hope he doesn’t get taken advantage of… very sweet story
I was 👀 for this Comment 🌟
Wonderful story. Brought joy to thos ladies.
Once again "On The Road" with Steve Hartman shows why its the best thing on television.
The "Kindness 101" segments he does with his kids are worthy of note also.
This gentleman is definitely one of the "Few Good Men"! My father, a former US Naval officer and scientist could fix anything! Including making a Turkey dinner from scratch including the pumpkin pies! Change a baby's diaper / he had 4 children , build houses / he did that in the 1940's to put himself through college, restored a sunken sailboat and took us sailing ! Never met a man as talented as my dad! Miss you dad! RIP and in the tradition if the US Navy I am wishing you a Happy Voyage Home! GO NAVY! ⚓⛵⚓🌊
We love you! You are such an important part of our beautiful coastal community! Signed, a fan from Bay St. Louis
What a great guy.
We need more people like this in the world if not doing same thing just showing kindness
Absolutely a hardworking man and how wonderful for all that can use his help
What a wonderful man this is!! God bless him!!🙏🏽
Why am I crying 😢 😢
I'm a Vet with PTSD and so alone, too. I think I'm going to start a Honey Do Non-Business, too! Before cancer takes me and I won't be able to DO anymore. I love this idea. Thanks! Now I have a goal in life again! Thank you, Danny! I haven't had good direction in a long, ,long, long time!
Don't have much strength to work even a cashiers job, but purpose gives me energy. I'll start my Honey-Do project when I get back to work. I meet a lot of folk who just need a little boost, and that'll boost me!
Dang Danny! Nice idea! Thank you! HUGS!
Having had a grifter steal my life savings for a shed conversion that now we live in with every kind of vermin imaginable due to the shoddy construction, freezing in winter, sweltering in summer, washing dishes in the tub, etc. This man to me is an Angel, sent by God and we often forget sometimes the best therapy is the business of living, finding a purpose, remembering we are our brothers and sisters keepers.
I need him! What a guy.
Good guy right there! Real Angel
Awesome job allways your wife is allways at your side with you all the time smiling at you when you are helping people God bless always sssssssssss
Great job Danny. We need more of you.
Ahh u are heaven sent thank u from cali love u ❤
I love this. What a delightful human💜
Oh wow he doesn't even charge for it, he is truly a National hero. ❤
The best TV segment to showcase the best of the American people.
Bless him for helping those that dont have men or are able to do those types of jobs. It would be nice to train young men/women as apprentices to learn to give back.
IDC what anyone says, we ALL need to feel like we have a purpose in the world, his purpose used to be, being a great Husband.... And that was taken from him, when his wife was taken from him.... well, Now his purpose is being, a great friend to his neighbors and he's doing it out of the kindness of his heart, something we should all aspire to do more of! ❤
I wish he lives here in Colorado and my neighbor haha what a clever and a good guy❣️ God Bless him❣️😘
Helping others can really be just helping yourself.
God bless him. ❤🙏
I never thought about PTSD but addicts are greatly encouraged to help serve others as a way to stay sober and heal. Makes perfect sense. We could all use a little of that, especially in these divisive times. ❤
Danny, many Blessings and thanks to you for helping others. Thanks to you too Steve Hartman for bringing joy to your viewers one story at a time. ❤
Wish I had someone near that could do handyman type work....there are too many that take advantage and money and don't do good work.
This man is a treasure and his heart is definitely in the right place❤❤❤❤❤
How amazing!! I bet his wife would be so proud to share her hubby with these women.
Service is the cure for so much!
What an awesome man.
He’s such a sweet man God bless him! Makes my heart warm. Being charitable is one of the things he wants us to be to his people! God bless everyone!
What a lucky woman his wife was. I hope to find a man like this someday but time is running out.
Ah, do miss the Honey Do’s! Great story. Waveland is i lovely town. Staying busy is the magic to feeling better.
Made me cry
How sweet ❤
That is so sweet of him to do that for women ❤😂.
First thank you for your service. Second thak you for opening your heart and helping the ladies out.
Joy to the heart
Wonderful! I hope to retire and be able to do this when I’m older
What a beautiful thing to do!
God bless this man ❤
What a great story!
What a beautiful kind man. God Bless you Danny
Good for him. Selfless service to others is the key to happiness. I used to have a handyman business & did many jobs contractors wouldn’t touch. Some customers were lonely older ladies who just wanted to talk. Good times.
We need more people like him
What a great guy❤️
i hope they invite him to family events and dinner once and a while. Everyone needs to be wanted.
Beautiful story!! We need things like this on the news everyday!!
I love this story!
That is a great story!!!
I saw it when it was on the news last night! 👏🏽
That is a way to help people heal and feel ✨️ 🙏🏽 needed or complete! 😎
A brilliant American ex vet ! Cheers bro keep it up.❤❤😢😢😢
This guy is a gem.
What a beautiful story! Find your happiness by giving to others and it comes back ten fold! That smile at the end is golden!❤🥰
Thank you for sharing that just sitting around isn't good for anybody!
What an AWESOME GUY.
LOVE - BEST mental health care on the planet!
What a incredible man he is,hes such an inspiration to others, god bless his kind heart and thoughtfulness.💕
Awesome!!
I do the same thing.I love my job and helping people.
Oh, my heart. Love, a kind spirit, and service are all we need to care for one another. My heart is so full of love and gratitude for this man and his many friends right now.
Beautiful
May God bless you. May you inspire everyone in the USA!🎉
This is great! What a wonderful way to help people. He must have a heart of gold ❤
What a heartfelt story. You remind me of my Pops who passed away. He was not my real Dad. But vowed to step in as a Dad because I never had one around. Pops & I would work on all sorts of projects together. He had a kinder heart and such a lively spirit. So neat to see someone else in this world who seems kind & enjoys others company. Pops would tell me stories of His time working on a Navy Ship. He didn't have a fancy assignment assignment. But he served our country. I was honored he chose me to love and mentor. Thank you for Your Service Sir. Blessings to you each day. Your story is a joyful one to watch.
What an amazing kind hearted man!!
👍👍 That's a gentleman to the max!
This is an awesome story everyone should see it God bless you Danny,🙏💙🇺🇸
Such a great story
Love this!
