My daughter lives about an hour north of Coeur d’Alene. They always have moose come into their back yard and eat the fruit from their trees. They will eat then lay down and rest. She lives in the middle of town. I love Idaho.
I LOVE you guys cleaning up trash all over the USA, helping keep it natural!! Also I LOVE that I saw the moose and her baby!!! Keep up the good works and be safe!
So sad that people trash these areas. Thank you for being great stewards and cleaning these areas up. You two are the best!! It's funny that you couldn't standard mystery of the stone fitepit pile! LOL😂
Grasshoppers and any terrestrial popper is good in fall. Match the Hatch is a good rule. Nymph and midge in spring. Caddis also. maybe this will help you. I live in Iowa and it works here for trout.
You guys go above and beyond in your respect for your campsites! I also do this whenever possible! I thank you. Another great video! Good to see travelers on UA-cam from Arkansas! I am originally from Monticello Arkansas and miss it dearly! Probably have 300 relatives in Drew county ha ha
Another great video!! Thanks for sharing!! It doesn’t always have to be big adventures. We love just hanging with you two!! We are glad you all get to chill and it helps us escape our hectic day!! Thanks again!!
We want to thank you guys!! You helped us make one of the most exciting decisions ever!! We had planned on hitting the road full-time in a 19' travel trailer.....Well, we recently got back into tent camping and watching your videos helped us realize how wonderful it would be to live in a tent full-time. We have 18 months to go but we are so excited about connecting with nature from a tent as opposed to a camper which takes so much away from the nature experience! We are now selling our trailer and have a beautiful 3 room tent in which to live and travel and become one with nature!!! Love your videos!!💗🤗
We haven’t seen a bear yet and have lived up here 14 years. People say to have bear spray. We recently bought dome after all these years. Enjoying your awesome cooking, gourmet for sure.
Hi! There were so many great things in this video! Kellie with her beautiful smile and Cody workin the chair backpack and doing the Forest Gump impression. The filming was so good! I love the way that you film the creeks and rivers and rocks with moss on them. I Love the way you filmed the whole thing with the creepy fire pit and then cleaned it up plus all of the trash. Thank you!!!!!!! Finally, it is really nice to see how you spend your time at the campsite. You just do simple things and enjoy just being. And its fun to see you in my neck o the woods. Check out the St Joe river someday. Its my happy place. Thank you!
Perfect alluding to Forest! Gotta love your sense of humor!!!! How neat it must be to be fortunate enough to see a Momma and baby moose!!! That river in those mountains was just heavenly!
Cody's wild caveman hair doo looks cool! 😂 I love Coeur' d'Alene, ID! I used to work just south of there in Worley, ID and that's where I met my late husband. Such a beautiful place - CDA, ID! I would NEVER sleep in a tent, especially in a place that has lots of black bears. The camper truck y'all have now is MUCH MORE my style of camping 😊
Hey guys, I really enjoy your adventures. I love Arkansas, but it is also beautiful out west. I notice that you use your Coleman portable oven quite a bit. If you go by a Lowe's they have a fire brick that will fit in the bottom. It will get to your desired temperature faster and retain the heat. Then, if you get by a Harbor Freight store, pick up a welding blanket. cut out a pattern to fit the exterior of the oven and sew it at the corners covering all but the bottom and the front. It will work a lot more efficiently when winter comes and it is colder and windy. Good luck in your travels and be safe.
We had a Moose on the trail once so we stepped way off trail so he could go by. Another time, I was down by a bush picking huckleberries and first I felt the ground pounding, then a Big Moose went running by very near going somewhere. That was a neat experience.
You kids make me feel old talking about being old wish I was as old as you guys. Enjoy your video I live in Mt Home Ark . Stay safe and enjoy your life
Great video! There is so much to like about it. I would watch this again for the creative filming and editing. You both are so authentic. I find myself chuckling or just enjoying your interactions. Looking forward to more and wishing you great success. Safe travels.
Great again. I would have liked a little longer on those tranquil river shots though. A tip about shredded hashbrowns is to boil the potato a little first. Then chill, then shred. So you could prep it the night before maybe
So many things. We are revisiting our love of camping after 15 or so years this weekend and have found your blogs informational and entertaining. You guys are really good at what you do. The cooking segments are great and my husband would love a “cook off” with y’all. The product reviews are so helpful. We have purchased a Jackery and Luci lights based on your recommendation. I hope you get a kickback in some way! The kayak camping trip on that river in Arkansas with the rock walls….WOW. I never knew Arkansas was so beautiful! Anyway, keep it up, be safe. Y’all seem so happy.
Another great vlog Cody and Kellie. The food looked amazing, the nature looked beautiful and Cody good catch on the Moose spotting I saw it in the video as well replayed a bit, what a catch!
Looking forward to getting your cookbook! I had asked about the chairs on a different video, but I haven't made it to this one where you told me where you purchase them. I am a new subscriber and enjoying all your videos!!
I cant imagine a hobo spider killing a Dog. Or anyone. Bad bite but not death. So now you are really close to where I live. North fork of the Coeur d alene is the non polluted part. I kayaked that river many years ago. It was so much fun. Class 2 and 3. I even went over because I dipped my paddle towards the current coming out of an eddy at the bottom of a little rapid. Great place!
Ok another really well done and interesting video. I really appreciated the way you guys handled the negative energy in that campsite. You could really feel the bad energy from the existing campfire shrine or whatever you want to call it. It seemed like you guys were thinking about leaving the area. Instead, you guys took your positive energy and rescued that beautiful area by cleaning it up and making it feel good again for everyone! I loved it! You guys ROCK! Oh and the cooking videos and the delicious food Kelly prepares is inspiring me to put aside the S. Old S. I have been cooking in the wilds and start putting some imagination and TLC into our camping menu. Thanks u guys
Would cool to see a hard copy of a cook book with a story behind each dish. Like we where camping at this place when i made this and also like a section of some challenges of cooking "in the wild" and possibly a section of recommended equipment. Sorry for the rambling. Great channel, always looking forward to new videos.
Love your camera work as always and I saw the moose! The drone shots are great, native wildflower segues...we just love your production skills, great choice of tunes as well! That creepy pet funeral pyre was odd for sure. Safe travels!
Good job Kelly for working on the cookbook while out there! Best office ever. I can't wait until it's ready, I camped with 6 people a few weeks ago and made your breakfast burritos, everyone loved them. I took credit for the recipe though, lol!
Are you in Kingston? I am from that area…lived further up the North Fork though…very cool! And you are in Idaho … bunch of weirdos up there. LOL! 😆! My family still lives there…and watch out for big foot!
New subscriber… really enjoy your videos and relaxing/low key style. Your video editing is extremely well done. Thank you for sharing your adventures. 👍
Man! Y’all knocked it outta the park with this one. Cody you are the drone master, those shots make the vlog magical. You both look and sound like you are having the time of your lives. I love your laughter Kellie, Cody is a handful I can tell. Y’all were meant to do this❤️❤️.
That looks like a great location but the shrine did seem a little weird. What I thought was really cool is seeing the moose go by and it catches your eye from when you were talking Cody. Keep up the great adventures and Happy Camping.
Good trick for fly fishing also: Flip over a rock and see what is under them. Pick a fly that is close to that, to simulate natural bait, or look for bugs flying around and try to match them :)
Wish I could help but I need to learn how to fly fish Ive never done it! But Ive seen people catch trout on small little rooster tail lures. PS loved the Forest Gump Pun lol
Hello great video. Love watching yall videos. Try can corn. Thats what i use in south Carolina. Can i get a paper copy of the cookbook. Where i go camping cant get service.

You two are "Modern Day Pioneers!" The remote locations you go to are awesome. Thank you for including us in your journeys!
I am from Coeur d’alene and watching your video. Love your videos. My hubby and I camp in the forests here.
ok you two are awesome people

I like your style - not too high, or showy, or trying to impress or be funny - but you are real and actually funny!
I use to go camping as a kid.there is something about waking up to fresh air! Its cool!
This is the kinda thing I do. As everyday is earth day for me. Thanks guys.
I watch it all. Can't stop watching even the videos I've seen already.
We want to thank you guys!! You helped us make one of the most exciting decisions ever!! Very, very cool! Dismantle that what-ever-it-was and clean up the trash. Thanks!

Could've gone up on the Fernan saddle , panhandle national forest, lots of Morrell mushrooms in spring and huckleberry in the summer
I loved Northern Idaho. I only passed through on my way to my sister's place in Park Forest IL. Would love to spend more time there.
Perfect alluding to Forest! Gotta love your sense of humor!!!! How neat it must be to be fortunate enough to see a Momma and baby moose!!! That river in those mountains was just heavenly!

Living out there has to be exhausting, but awesome! We enjoy the videos and always look forward to them! Rest when you can!

That was wonderful! Can’t wait to get out there again next spring! Looking forward to the cookbook. 🤤
Leave it cleaner than when you arrived 👏 love that. The fire thing was strange
We had a Moose on the trail once so we stepped way off trail so he could go by.
Another time, I was down by a bush picking huckleberries and first I felt the ground pounding, then a Big Moose went running by very near going somewhere. That was a neat experience.
Sweet Idaho. I'm originally from Idaho but from Boise. I miss it. Hopefully one day I'll be back there
Finally! Can't wait to see this one. Curious to see if you guys hit some of my favorite spots while you're here.
You kids make me feel old talking about being old wish I was as old as you guys. Enjoy your video I live in Mt Home Ark . Stay safe and enjoy your life
be sure to visit Priest Lake, ID while you're up there. Prettiest nature I've ever seen.
Thank you for another awesome video ❤️ that pit was strange. I’m glad you didn’t find a dead dog 😬
Great video! There is so much to like about it. I would watch this again for the creative filming and editing. You both are so authentic. I find myself chuckling or just enjoying your interactions. Looking forward to more and wishing you great success. Safe travels.
that food looked good. and the places you went are beautiful. keep living free guys.
Beautiful country next to my home state utah, love camping in Idaho
Forest Gump reference made me laugh out loud!! 🤣😂 Awesomeness!!!
Great again. I would have liked a little longer on those tranquil river shots though. A tip about shredded hashbrowns is to boil the potato a little first. Then chill, then shred. So you could prep it the night before maybe
You guys are so much fun! Loved it!
Wow, what an awesome secluded spot.

Can't wait for the cook book! I have been hoping you would make one!
Welcome to my Idahome! It is gorgeous for sure! The CDA has the most beautiful mountains.
I cant imagine a hobo spider killing a Dog. Or anyone. Bad bite but not death.

Canned potatoes for hash browns or a hash, they are pealed and parboiled and perfect for either!
Kelly, can't wait for the cook book! Way to go on the Mountain's and stream! Looks nice there.🏕🎣

Looking forward to your cookbook 👍 Great video, beautiful views!
Love your fishing and going along with you on your journey
Wow. You need to be panning in that stream. Looks like gold country.
When you do tent camping makes sure its in open space, in case if there is a dead branch, just precaution.
“I think I’ll go home now”. LMAO. You kinda captured that Forrest look there 😆
I totally agree! Too funny! 😂
Love your camera work as always and I saw the moose! The drone shots are great, native wildflower segues...we just love your production skills, great choice of tunes as well! That creepy pet funeral pyre was odd for sure. Safe travels!
Looks like you all are having a ball. Keep up the great work. Looks like fun.
I lived in Coeur D'Alene!!!! Heading there in a few days to revisit a beautiful place! Glad to know there is dispersed camping there!
Idaho is beautiful!! Bet, that mess of stuff was just left to creep ppl out from camping there. I would've taken it down too!! Awesome vlog!!!
Cody Gump over here! 🤣
Y'all are great. And we're looking forward to this cookbook, Kelly!
Good job Kelly for working on the cookbook while out there! Best office ever. I can't wait until it's ready, I camped with 6 people a few weeks ago and made your breakfast burritos, everyone loved them. I took credit for the recipe though, lol!
once again great visuals, framing, and drone piloting
Awesome vid love the content and vibe you guys are doing a good job 😊
Can't go wrong with a hopper dropper this time of year. Try that. Also, try fishing a little more moving water and fish the seams.
I spit my drink out- nailed the Forest Gump bit- 🤣
Are you in Kingston? I am from that area…lived further up the North Fork though…very cool! And you are in Idaho … bunch of weirdos up there. LOL! 😆! My family still lives there…and watch out for big foot!
New subscriber here. I really enjoy your videos, great job. Thanks for bringing us along. 🙂
New subscriber… really enjoy your videos and relaxing/low key style. Your video editing is extremely well done. Thank you for sharing your adventures. 👍
Creek looked amazing
Greetings from Texarkana! My family loves your content. God Bless.
The Forest Gump reference was on point.
love watching content like this...
Present your fly “up stream” & let it float towards you. The trout are facing up stream waiting on food to float to them. 🤞
I LOVE Ciabatta bread too.❣
When I saw that little "rock mountain", I was hoping that you would just break it down. It spoiled a perfect spot!😊
Forrest Gump.... NAILED IT!
Cool peacefull spot. 🌲 Lol nice Forrest reference 🏃♂️.
Glad to hear your writing a cookbook. You should. Cause your the best damn cook this side of Mars. Lol.
The water levels are about the same there as they are at Albert Pike! It does look so much like the area!
Great video! We love your cooking ideas!
Man! Y’all knocked it outta the park with this one. Cody you are the drone master, those shots make the vlog magical. You both look and sound like you are having the time of your lives. I love your laughter Kellie, Cody is a handful I can tell. Y’all were meant to do this❤️❤️.
Hey fro Jerome Idaho!!! You are north of here. Your in the trees I am in the desert..lol
+1 for Journey!
Hello from Puerto Rico!
Beautiful scenery.
That looks like a great location but the shrine did seem a little weird. What I thought was really cool is seeing the moose go by and it catches your eye from when you were talking Cody. Keep up the great adventures and Happy Camping.

Thank you!
Nice video - Thanks for sharing!
Lmao! We were all thinking the same thing during the run footage! Run Forest run!!🤘
Pumped Up Kicks, Forest Gump reference, Journey...all in one upload...you guys are the best!
are you in arkansas? mi love it there used to live in springdale and fayetteville myself. had to move away but wannt to return now.
If there’s a fly fishing shop somewhere nearby you can ask them which flys are working for your area. That worked best for me.
I want that Kelly Cookbook!! I live a block away from Kitchen Arts and Letters Inc., a great bookstore. I hope I can find it there.
We are buying the cookbook when you publish the hard copy!
"I think I'll go home now" - LOL
I love that bread too
Kelly, I hope you are making a cookbook!
Wish I could help but I need to learn how to fly fish Ive never done it! But Ive seen people catch trout on small little rooster tail lures. PS loved the Forest Gump Pun lol
Until you visit the Butch Cassidy Museum in Montpelier, ID you haven't seen the state.
Beautiful scenery. I was intrigued with the H3. I have an 06. Wondering how dependable it's been, or not.
We have replaced a lot on it it dependable
Enjoy your video as for as fishing look around for what kind of insects around try to match best you can.
Hello great video. Love watching yall videos. Try can corn. Thats what i use in south Carolina. Can i get a paper copy of the cookbook. Where i go camping cant get service.
