Y13 is the one to beat. I"m now waiting for the new chipsets. Done with N4100 laptops. Be interesting to see if we do in fact get the new chips or the Chinese MFGs start using older chips again (Hope not)

I purchased BMAX Y13 & I am very happy with it.. Everything is good in that laptop.. Also pressure sensitive touch works in it. Screen is wonderful.. Speakers are good & loud but they lack thump.

you missed out the B Max cannot be used with a stylus and the Teclast can ! I was waiting to hear if the stylus came in the teclast package. but you didnt show it so im guessing it doesnt. But the stylus is also quite expensive compared to some.
I've ordered the BMAX Y13 (despite the ridiculous Transformers symbol on the lid) on your recommendation and hope it lives up to expectations. What performance boost can I expect if I increase the wattage? I don't want to alter that unless there is a significant improvement so your advice would be appreciated.
The power limit boost is best done with my thermal mod. The boost will give you great GPU speeds as it will hold the 700mhz tubro and not throttle to 450Mhz

You have to actually see BMAX Y13 to know the difference.. Quality is much better than others.. There is reliability issue.. Products of Teclast don't last 😉.. Just watch reviews of T30 & M16 which are their latest products to know quality issues.. Touch screen is not good in these tablets which is a basic thing.. That's why he likes BMAX more.. Everything works perfectly in it.. Screen is laminated & amazing to look at also..

But the bezels and plastic build will put some off so glad it's my last Gemini Lake laptop!
Which models are you referring to? I live in Hong Kong which is a tech capital with crazy low prices for electronics, the cheapest Ryzen laptop around this size and weight (1.2kg) was the Lenovo x395, which would still cost around $550-600 USD. The cheaper Ryzens I've seen are only in models like the Lenovo IdeaPad L340, which has a 15.6 inch screen and weighs 2.2kg. I'm looking for the lightest weight possible WITH a touchscreen (after using one I've realized I can't go back to a laptop that doesn't have one), which are two factors that will cost a lot more in general, so the bmax y13 really ticks a lot of boxes for me (keeping the processor needs to basic daily use). Not to mention that it looks super sexy!
You can run Linux yes, but without WiFi. Linux doesn't support the AC3165 WiFi card, or better Intel doesn't support Linux for this card. So mine's up for sale now

TechRadar seems to consistently rate battery life on Teclast extremely low (i.e. only 2.5 hours for this one) vs your estimates. Now, their results seem to be consistently less than all other reviewers, but could you explain the discrepancy? Like, what is the actual battery life under normal office usage (music plus UA-cam and Word or so)?

Chinese would sell that CPU for $600 USD+ I'm sure the current AMD Xiaomi laptops are $600+ with the older 3500U. It's an old gamesir G3S
