As a conservative in CA, I think we should remove the electoral vote from states that consistently and purposefully make laws against the constitution. Let the voters inside the state make the changes after the imposed restrictions
If individual States can create their flavor/interpretation of the 2A, then a State like Texas should create their flavor of the 16th Amendment where no federal taxes are collected within the State of Texas.

In California the taxes are so high. Sales tax on food sales tax on entertainment sales tax on products and even if something is on sale you still get the tax on the full price of the product. You don't get any discounts and now there is a tax on top of tax on firearms. It's sickening

Ya so LA. CO. tax is already 10.25%. Add the 11% thats 21.25% sales tax on ammo and guns. Took my son to Turners yesterday for some fishing gear and he commented on how expensive ammo was.
