      @doarner The best way is to make a plan on what you want to build. If you're aiming for an european centric build, then go to google earth and check out cities and villages from above. Once you've made up your mind, download a ton of mods for a specific country only. Trees and bushes help a lot as well, to fill in all the gaps. Start with a very small village first and work your way up towards a city.

      @@VoxxyNZ Actually he does know what he's talking about. It's completely impossible to simulate the wave function of a single atom, let alone all of the wave functions involved in the existence of an entire universe. Even if you did have a magical multi-dimensional computation device that could simulate the wave function(s) of an entire universe, it would just be a simulation... It would only exist in mathematical form. The space and mass of the simulated universe would not actually exist. And then there's the problem of consciousness, which itself is proof that we are not in a simulation. You should actually do some research, because anyone who suggests we live in a simulation is very uneducated and naive.

      タメル I for example think that our brain is so complex that can "understand" itself.
      Cats, dogs, little children - they come to mirrors and think that there is someone else. Their brain isn't "powerful" enough to understand what is "I" and what is "They".
      So consciousness I guess is just a feature that got human race to where we are.
      Brain dies - Human dies too. Things like "souls" just doesn't exist. It's all lullabies for weak minds, for humans who want to have "great goal" in their life.
      But life is meaningless and they will never agree with that.

    Its 4am, im sitting on my chair staring at my laptop screen with a joint in my mouth, the sun is slowly rising and the birds are begging to sing. im scrolling through the never ending void that is the UA-cam suggestion page thinking to myself, "what am i doing with my life".
    i then stumble apon a video titled "Cities Skylines: First Person Train Ride through Westdale 2" i begin thinking to myself again "who in the world is going to sit and watch a fake train ride". i click on the video. i watch for 2 minuets. i light my joint. i continue watching. 5 minuets pass. im amazed. i cant stop watching. theres no way someone built this. this is brilliant. this is better than my life. what is life. i continue watching. im still amazed. the video ends. im depressed.

      Take a look at theHunter Classic (free, slightly older, but still beautiful) and theHunter Call of the Wild ($20) on Steam. Both are, as their names imply, hunting games, but I just use them for some virtual walks through nature, ignoring the hunting portion entirely.

    Speed is unrealist, you should try using TM;PE to set reasonable speeds on curves & switches...

    Comparing this to Transport Fever 2... Two things is clear.
    Cities skylnes have a lot more detals.
    Grapical fidelity in transport fever 2 is quite a bit better.

      Wait for the mods to come out for TF2 considering the mods for TF1 can add so much detailing as it is.

      @matsv201 4 роки тому

      @@Arokuara Well.. sure.. but i really think that they should be the same level of detail to not clash with the rest of the game.
      Still the fidelity is quite a bit higher. Is probobly time for Skylines 2

      They are two entirely different games my guy. I'm pretty sure the first person mechanic is a mod which means it's not vanilla and not the point of the game. Sure the tf2 has better graphic fidelity but that's because it needs to render a lot less compared to city skylines as tf2 only focuses on transport whereas cs focuses on building the city where the transport will go. But even so, you are definitely right.
