When I had my MK4 I bought one of the aux cassette tapes and hid the wire around the back of the unit and fed it somewhere out of the way so I could plug my phone in. You couldn't see the wire so was neat and tidy 👌
Aux tapes were the future, neat install a must 🤣 I had one that held the discman back in the 90s, every time you hit a bump it would skip bloody awful thing and looked stupid 🤣🤣 if I want to go all techy and use my phone I will use my FM Bluetooth transmitter.

Definitely not in Lincolnshire roads are the worst 🤣 there is legit 6 ft dips in the country lanes in south Lincs.
