Hey all! I meant to post this last week but I'm in the process of moving / traveling so I didn't quite get it together in time. I packed up my entire room on Wednesday, so this is the last video I recorded with it all still set up. And now I am currently in Ecuador seeing my boyfriend for the first time since January! We are supposed to go visit his grandma's in like 15 mins so I'm quickly trying to get this posted!

This tutorial is awesome and so helpful!! I have got the verse down now but I just can't do those short strums for the chorus :( What should I be practicing/learning in order to achieve this?
Ah that's so great you have the verse down and I'm so glad it's helpful! Yeah doing the strum-mute is tricky at a fast tempo! I'd say slow it down as much as you need to and just keep it on one chord (or no chord) while practicing that. Then try doing four in a row, then eight in a row, and keep it as slow as you need! Once you're feeling more comfortable, try gradually increasing the tempo. Also the strumming patterns are in some ways just suggestions, so if you find something that feels better, I'd say go ahead and play that instead. But it sounds like you're up for the challenge :) I hope that helps!! Good luck!!

this is a lovely tutorial also this is weird but i literally have the same exact dresser as you and i can't believe it because i'm pretty sure its older than me and i didn't know other people had it ok bye sorry this is weird
Hahaha so actually I was just borrowing that dresser from my landlord! She had it when she was growing up so it is older haha! That's so funny. I don't use it anymore because I moved out of that house but it was a really good and sturdy dresser.
