Totally agree that unsettling, Gothic type horror is more engaging ( for me at least) than the slasher type. I'd take Anne Radcliffe over "The Monk" any day. I think a lot of older horror like Dracula and Frankenstein are much more phycological and unsettling. It's great to see that we're going back to that type of gothic horror.
