Please correct me if I am wrong. This is what I understood: Situation to be considered near Resistance or Support Lines, 1- Wide candle range + Low volume = Reversal 2- Wide candle range + High volume = Continuation 3- Narrow candle range + Low volume = Market is tired and taking REST. Chance of Reversal. 4- Narrow candle range + High volume = Reversal.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:27 📈 Volume Spread Analysis (VSA) helps assess the strength behind a candle and confirm support/resistance levels. 01:56 🕯️ VSA involves analyzing candle range and corresponding volume, categorizing them into narrow/wide and low/high. 03:30 💹 Liquidity depth influences price movements; shallow liquidity leads to wide price movements with low volume, while deep liquidity results in narrow movements with high volume. 05:51 📉 High volume wide range candles suggest continuation in the direction of the candle, indicating a break of resistance or support. 07:02 🔄 Low volume wide range candles, known as reversal candles, indicate a lack of interest from one side, often stopping at a significant barrier. 08:37 🛑 Narrow range with low volume can signify a rest period, while narrow range with high volume indicates a struggle between buyers and sellers, potentially leading to a reversal. 11:55 📊 Relative nature of VSA requires context; what's wide or narrow, and low or high volume, depends on the market situation. 14:27 🔄 Narrow range candles with both low and high volume versions can imply reversals, creating volume ambiguity in market interpretation. 15:24 🎓 The course introduces the basics of Volume Spread Analysis, helping traders anticipate important price movements in real market scenarios. hey man i hope you see this comment, please keep it up with this great work that you are doing, your videos are very informative and well put together. It would be extremely appreciated if you could follow up with more material on institutional trading. well done!
I’m not from a finance background but I am able to relate to the VSA concept after watching your video. Now it is up to me to absorb the concept. I am trying my best to understand it completely before I jump into treading. Thanks once again.
simple easy to understand, if those who read VSA book will take very long time to understand, this video save a lot of time. I love it. Thank you so much!
I appreciate it ,Sir. This was brilliantly put together. I’ve been following your videos for months now and with your lessons help, I’m making outstanding progress with my trades. Thank you too much
Learning as I go. Small amounts for now. Practice as it were. Videos like this prove to be invaluable in my learning curve and it’s acceleration. Thank you
You had almost covered everything about revetsals , I did not understand what stupid comments about, possibly they are not into analysis at all. Thanks for all great efford.
Incredible well informed/explained tutorial! Especially the part where you explained the market depth with the Limit orders waiting and the reason why a large volume can still create a narrow body and vice versa. This and understanding market control (pushing the price anywhere they want) and liquidity runs of smart money and you have an edge in trading! One small remark about market depth (DOM) and their Limit orders! These Limit orders can be fake as price approaches their levels, they can be quickly removed (algorithms) from the DOM, hence only price movements, wide or narrow bodies and volume matter! Wish I could talk to you.
13:30 how come the breakout was confirmed by ultra high volume (the widest green candle with the highest volume on the chart) meaning institutional traders were involved, but then there was no uptrend but a reversal instead? Does this contradict with VSA and Wyckoff theory?
This video was insanely informative and I honestly loved every bit of it. I have learned so much and I have excited to apply them. I am grateful for you my brother, absolutely amazing work!
Thanks for sharing your great knowledge and insight on this subject! I would appreciate your opinion on whether to use the close to open or the high to low candle value as the range of the candle? I always value your input when it comes to trading strategies! Thanks again!
I think this is super interesting cause it also takes into account the reasons price is pushed into a certain direction, rather than just watching price action.
@@fractalflowpro Can you do a video on COT trading? I would also like to know your take on intermarket correlations....I know they exist from looking back at price history on charts, but I can't find a way to trade them in real-time that's consistently effective.

Very useful! This is referred to a bullish candle that approches a supply or a bearish candle that approaches a demand. What other considerations should be done if we talk about a bullish candle that is originated from a demand or a bearish candle that is originated from a supply?

It's been a while since I have seen your videos. Looking at them now I like the design with animations that you have put! The content is still very good (some youtubers can't hold the same quality content) and the video was simple yet very understandable. Keep it up!

Hey fractal flow! Love seeing your videos dude, informative video as always. I just had a question: Do you think I should still use Volume even though i'm trading forex? Because forex does not have a centralized order book and therefore no real volume indicator except the Tick Volume.
Volume can be measured in different ways. In forex, you'll see a tick count, which ends up yielding a similar result since it's also a measure of activity.
Dude thank you for all the work you put in, I got a question though, do your courses need to be taken in order or could I understand the newest course on its own?
Doesnt low volume with wide range candle indicate a dominant on 1 side. Example wide range low volume green candle shows buyer in control, theres is lack of limit of ask orders on the orderbook.
you summarised some of the leading books in this 20 mins....impressive!! But i needed to watch thrice to grasp concept...but still can not wrap around 'in wide range bullish candle with low volume, there is lack of interest from sellers'. How is this, will you please help me understand, if possible. Because price will go up, when Buyer is willing to pay more which means hi demand then supply hence bullish movement, how than seller are not interested to sell at higher price is unclear to me.
i'm about to watch the video, but just to confirm, he nails all the definitions correctly same as the leading books right? does he omit any important nuances to shorten the video?

Tom Williams once said "after a long uptrend, a wide spread up bar with very high volume is not a good sign"
