Excellent, you are giving a slightly different perspective to the Tom Williams version of VSA and this was where I learned at first! I already use excess high volume fakes and market manipulation for the base point in my trading! Trading with pure price action and failing to consider using volume is tantamount to playing a one legged football team against a two legged team, Guess which one will win the league?

Why do you want to take money out of markets. That's all your doing.. if you profit. Someone else loses. The markets don't care. Have ever bothered to thi k about why you trade in the first place?. It's rediculous and selfish and stupid.. the world doesn't need speculators stealing money from markets. I got confused with narrow amd wide spread candles...its pretty basic I know. At 15:28 you are pointing at a wide spread candle and calling it narrow....the video is just awesome...loved it watched it but is it possible to get clarity on narrow and wide spread candles? Thank you so much

Interesting video and well presented, but why use this indicator for forex when the volume displayed is only broker volume (in this case Oanda) and therefore only displaying retail volume?

Hi alpha chain im looking for the reason for the coloured bars for volume spread for vsa, i know it it relative but sometimes i see coloured bars that dont make sence.

I have a question when price is near support or resistance area and we see a high or ultra-high volume. How can one be sure that is it buying volume or selling volume?
There might be high buying volume near resistance zone to break the resistance?
Don't know it my thinking is right or wrong
Key is to look at different between open and close of the candle as to who is winning out of buyers and sellers. Also useful to have some kind of additional confirmation indicator before a trade is opened, perhaps a kind of fractal could work. Thanks for watching!

Hey Alex - you can find it on TradingView - it's called 'Volume spread for VSA'
I have been doing research in my own trading based around price/volume and came up with a bunch of terms I use based on vol/price. Then I found Wyckoff method and realized it was there all along.

Hello! It can be used on various timeframes although I would avoid the very short term ones due to the noise. It can also be used for multi-timeframe analysis looking for confluence across timeframes!

I am Only seeing the Increase and Decrease in Volume. You are also Assuming the Buyers and Sellers Volume but actually the Trading Volume is quite different as I have seen in Live Charts and Delta River is also not accurate as it shows Tick Volume Counts but how to get Accurate Data of Trading Volumes... Meta Quotes will give tick Data Only and Any Indicator will give the tick Counts inside a Candle Only. How to Predict Accurately the Volume is Buyer's or Seller's. I hope You got my point, please reply

How to interpret a shooting star spread narow or wide because in some books i read that spread is beetwen high and low and in others i read that spread is beetwen open and close it is so confusing

How do you combine this with multi time frame analysis ? Because every time frame the volume is different
This is best used by using multiple time frames as confirmation for a particular setup. You would want to see confluence across these time frames. For example you could apply more weight to the higher time frames for your trade setups and use the smaller timeframes for timing your entry for example (looking for similar volume and candle behaviour). No.... That's wrong i think.
When price approaches to resistance/support, volume also goes high. And after pricr approaches to line, if price goes futher resistance/support, volume goes more high. But price go away from line, volume start to decrease.
9:30 spread refers to high and low, not open and close, google it
Thanks for watching! 'Spread' here is a term used to describe the difference between two points. Both open and close or high and low can be used in VSA. They both provide different insight into the activity of the candle. Try for yourself and see which you prefer.

I want to be profitable… i trade with good risk/reward ratio with proper price actions and market structure on 4hr with COCH then moving down on lower time frame and let my lower time frame align with my higher trend..
I make profit 4-5 days but something goes wrong and i start loosing and time comes when i just want to win…
