True, I didn't think I could handle losing a child. God sent ministering spirits, they answered all of my questions. I didn't feel alone, I got through preparations and all the formalities with the ministering spirits help. People showed love, people came from all over, they were helping in ways I didn't see.... later they asked did you see the brooches I made for all the ushers? Sorry but no, I didn't see that, but thank you. Someone cooked the meals.... my church offered my church, though he didn't attend. I had seen the movies of grieving parents, my mom had grieved years for my brother... but the Bible says mourning has a time-limit...I figure 30-days.... So, I just wanted to be able to get passed mourning, I didn't want to be broken for months, years and decades. He left young children to raise, preschooler. I learned to appreciate the years he did live, some parents only get an hour, a minute, a day and I had his whole childhood, the graduations and wedding. I wouldn't let myself be angry. I was grateful for those times. I had to accept new situations... find new family among the living.... forgive and let faults stay buried, and not bring them back into earth's realm. I sit wonder how I got through it, but I always come back to God. I could feel his presence the whole time.

I agree with that Pastor. I've had some big time test in my life lately. And it doesn't go away because you've gotten old. It hits everybody in all walks of life. It's like the older ones that has gone on before me say, no test , no testimony!
