I stop celebrating Christmas years ago on my own. My sons mom was upset that I don’t buy gifts, put up trees or get into the Christmas spirit. She said I ruined it for my son for years. I told her that I don’t side with the world, Jesus birthday is not Christmas and the holiday is Paganism and I’m not teaching my son that it is real. During the pandemic I was driven to study the word of God like never before. In the process I began to question a lot of the practices that us Christians engage in and see as okay to practice. However, it was awoken in my spirit that Christmas was a pagan holiday along with many other holidays. This year I finally told my husband that we shall not partake in any Christmas activities as I have to teach my children the right way of living as a Christian.

No, this man has no idea that God is the evergreen. It’s symbolic of eternity. Jeremiah 10:3-5, the heathens would cut down a palm tree, not a fir tree, and would cut the tops out of them. I was happy to know the truth about Christmas, because it saved me money and time from running around buying gifts cooking all of that food. Now I just relax and look at others when they are running around spending money 🤑💰

Gods word is Truth. My eyes were opened at the age of 64 regarding all the pagan holidays encouraged and celebrated in the church. I talked to my pastor and then other pastors why they allowed it in the church when we were called to be separate and not follow the world, and every single pastor I talked to said "they knew it was wrong but it was tradition", "They didn't want to make waves with their congregation" and/or "these holiday activities brought people into the church so that's why they do it". They were not going to stop these activities So I removed myself from these churches and now meet in a small home church that follows the Holy scriptures. There are many people that think I have gone crazy, and I have lost many relationships with friends and family because my convictions. But I have to follow Christ. Thank you for sharing the Truth!!!.

No wonder around the time of Christmas and other holidays I find myself all by myself and my driveway is empty, all alone, while all my neighbors have all their family and friends at their houses and their parking drive ways are full, their all smiles and acting happy. No matter how much I pray about the holidays and having company over it’s the same year after year, nobody. Because God is showing me these things have nothing to do with Him. But, because God is a merciful God in Jesus name He always allows for me a joyful heart nevertheless.

Amen!! I stopped decorating when I first came to the faith after throwing things out of my house. I stared at the tree and I was like nope, take it down and haven't put one up since. Threw it away. We're to be set apart, "come out of her my people!" Leave worldly traditions behind.

I never felt good about Christmas, started out as a young child my narcissistic mother would threaten us if we didn’t do exactly what she wanted she would take back the presents (mind you we were young and certainly not bad), this would start about five months before Christmas. Independently I said to myself if this is truly a Christian holiday no way my own parent would torture and threaten me. I became to hate Christmas, when asked what did I want Santa to bring me I said I want nothing. Later I then learned it was actually a pagan holiday. The truth shall set you free.

I stopped celebrating Christmas, Easter, and other holidays from in my early teens, and my family and friends called my stupid. God enlightened me in Jeremiah, and i never looked back. To God be the glory.

I stop celebrating Christmas years ago on my own. My sons mom was upset that I don’t buy gifts, put up trees or get into the Christmas spirit. She said I ruined it for my son for years. No, this man has no idea that God is the evergreen. It’s symbolic of eternity. Jeremiah 10:3-5, the heathens would cut down a palm tree, not a fir tree, and would cut the tops out of them. They would deck it with silver and gold. They would nail it and fasten it so that it would not move. The heathens would worship this. It was an idol. They didn’t worship God but a large palm tree that they cut the top out of. There’s a difference. You can let heathenism and ignorance take away the symbology that God places Himself in, in Hosea 14:8 if you don’t know the truth. Why do you think Christ is called the tree of life? He calls His children the planting family. If you’re not careful in your religious customs, you will allow heathenism to rob you of all that. Bc of people that are so self righteous that claim to be ever so wise in themselves instead of being wise in Gods word. Christ was conceived on December 25th, that’s when the word became flesh. Christ’s birthday is September 29th. But there’s nothing wrong with celebrating Christ-mas. Notice Christ in Christmas? We worship God not the tree. Gods word is Truth. My eyes were opened at the age of 64 regarding all the pagan holidays encouraged and celebrated in the church. I talked to my pastor and then other pastors why they allowed it in the church when we were called to be separate and not follow the world, and every single pastor I talked to said "they knew it was wrong but it was tradition", "They didn't want to make waves with their congregation" and/or "these holiday activities brought people into the church so that's why they do it". They were not going to stop these activities So I removed myself from these churches and now meet in a small home church that follows the Holy scriptures. There are many people that think I have gone crazy, and I have lost many relationships with friends and family because my convictions. But I have to follow Christ. Thank you for sharing the Truth!!!.

No wonder around the time of Christmas and other holidays I find myself all by myself and my driveway is empty, all alone, while all my neighbors have all their family and friends at their houses and their parking drive ways are full, their all smiles and acting happy. Amen!! I stopped decorating when I first came to the faith after throwing things out of my house. I stared at the tree and I was like nope, take it down and haven't put one up since. Threw it away. We're to be set apart, "come out of her my people!" Leave worldly traditions behind.

I never felt good about Christmas, started out as a young child my narcissistic mother would threaten us if we didn’t do exactly what she wanted she would take back the presents (mind you we were young and certainly not bad), this would start about five months before Christmas. Independently I said to myself if this is truly a Christian holiday no way my own parent would torture and threaten me. I became to hate Christmas, when asked what did I want Santa to bring me I said I want nothing. Later I then learned it was actually a pagan holiday. The truth shall set you free.
