Shiva, I installed this rear screen today. They must have listened to your feedback. Here are some of the changes since you did this: 1. There is no longer a wire to use for the seats. It is automatically intergrated. I can move the passenger seat back and forth without having to wire it. 2. The child lock feature works for the different settings. If I put it on for the climate control, it is on for every page on the menu. The install was easy. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't sit flush at the top. If I added a pad on the armrest, the pad pushes against the screen. I am going to check and see if it's my install error on this. 3. There is no option for Disney+. Finally, I easily connected it ot my wifi and plan to download games for my backseat passengers. And I looked at their demo video....the quality is superb. For road trips, this will be a good add. Oops, the vents now can go up and down, as well as from side to side.

As a Tech Enthusiast I am very happy to see what you're creating and much excited to see what's new with the tech and what these companies are trying to pack in tiny sections of already high-tech car. Supporting only one is a deal breaker for me. This one almost seems to cover all the bases. I wish I could just purchase a Tesla OEM rear screen that would fit a MY.
Get a Bluetooth to FM transmitter, and then 2 radio headsets, that tune into that FM transmitter. So like that u can pair 2 or more headsets at the same time...
Hey Shiva! Thank you for reviewing the new bigger screen. I was actually looking for a bigger one and stumbled across this new screen and your video. I like what I see. My only query is. How would you compare the air flow from the AC vents on this compared to OEM?
The one you reviewed before this is nice since it actually uses the original USB connection so you have full speed charging on both ports unlike these with the bypass that only has 1 full speed port. This has a nice screen and aesthetic. If they can combine these two and use Android 13 like the other being offered would make for a good unit. I have the. Android 13 unit and it works great. It would be ideal to have the adjustable vents and the 2 full power USB ports then a larger screen after.
Great review! But got one question before I purchase, do you think it will work with the rear fridge that goes right under the monitor/screen. I have that installed and not sure if it will work together due to the size coz it extended downwards. Thank you 👍
It would actually be great if someone could make a screen that actually sits higher. I mean, keep the same vent on the same level, and the screen on top, maybe with folding mechanism of some sort. This would actually be better than even highland implementation. I tried that and the angle is awkward. Looking so far down after 15 mins hurt my neck haha. If they can make it higher it would actually be amazing

I received this a couple months ago, installed it and no rear censor option. I reached out to the manufacturer and they told me to uninstall it and do a download on a usb and then reinstall it…honestly this is really only good for the rear passenger to adjust their heated seat or ac/heat. Having to always go through the settings to connect to my hot spot is a pain…not really worth it
I really appreciate this video. And this is the first rear screen I would actually consider installing. It's the right functionality, and it's the right functionality. I would like an option to lockout controls of the front seats while keeping the rear seat controls active. That will prevent mischievous passengers from roasting their parents in the front seat...🔥😂
I just purchased. Installation was fine. I could not get the volume to turn up on Bluetooth headset. I did a factory reset and it wiped out most of the apps, including the Bluetooth transmitter. Any ideas on how to get it back to the way it was

I bought this screen and installed it a couple days ago...way better than the one I bought from Hannshow with the top and bottom thin air vents in terms of screen size and clarity. However, I am unable to get the different user interface options to show up like you showed in the video. Holding on the side of the screen does not work. Any ideas why this may be the case? Are there software updates that I am not aware of?
How did you get to that menu by holding the screen on the lower left hand corner? I’ve tried dozens of times with no luck! Is there a setting I need to toggle to make that work?

How does the unit update? I installed yesterday and don’t see some of the features mentioned. Like the wallpaper or themes. ALS. The time won’t stay on my time zone and can’t be set manually… otherwise it’s pretty nice.
The clock dont have memory...so i set now and tomorrow is again at china time...., right hand drive again no memory..i set now and are change at left..and when i want to move passager seat move driver seat..., no rear sensor, no home screen...., and i dont know haw i do soft update....

This is the second rear scream I have now pitched, this bigger screen with more functions is great. HOWEVER this is now also the second device where I cannot change the time. It stays on Chinese time, even though I set the time zone for Brisbane Australia. When I go to set the time to the correct time it allows me to change the time but then it defaults back to Beijing time which is 2 hours behind my time. Not good software especially as I like the clock in sleep mode. This is so frustrating and this product is not cheap.
Hey Shiva I purchased this product after your review. Apart from the issue of the date and time not being able to be changed, my unit also does not allow you to change the screw view by pushing on the left corner for a few seconds. I have emailed Tes Studio without any replies. This is the second type of screen (Other product different model) that had the date and time issue. It's almost as if the software bug is written by the same company. Any chance you can help? I already have one product that has ended up n the bin. These products are not cheap.
The child lock option is okay but not great... There should be two levels of the lock 1. full and no access and 2 they cant change any settings but have access to media (entertainment) that will set this screen apart from the rest

@Shiva Sapkota Hi . I have this screen but do NOT have the option of "Rear seat sensor (on/off)". I believe the firmware is old. Is it possible to update the firmware? I tried going into settings and do the OTA update but hitting that OTA update button doesn't do anything.
John did you get this resolved? I just bought and installed this 8.66" screen and when I go to the "Rear Seat Sensor" setting it actually is asking me to enter a chinese street number address! Were you able to fix and how? Thanks! Currently I can't use the rear screen without someone in the front seat or leaving a door open so this is kinda an important setting if someone is sitting alone in the back seat.
Be forewarned that if you have any issues with this screen, you're going to be waiting a while for support. Support seems to be out of Hong Kong so 12 hours time difference than U.S.. I've sent multiple emails to them of pictures & video of the problems and a week later I'm still waiting for any actual support.

This is a major security risk. If anyone hacks or has a backdoor to this device, they have control over many security features of your car. I would never connect this device to wifi
@@toddswire9581 You can toggle the switch to adjust the brightness automatically but I don't believe it switches between day and night automatically. That is an easy fix though with software and this company seems to get things patched up quick. Thanks
I just realized that the door and window weather seal is different on the Model Y than it is on the 2022 Model 3. The Model Y seals look no much nice!!! No wonder my Model 3 has wind noise around the windows.

Installed mine last week, but my question is how do you set the time? I've gone thru the settings but everytime I turn off my car it resets.

Yes, you can switch between light and dark mode in the settings. They have different brightness settings for each. Thanks.
