- Visiting Qaqortoq in South Greenland, while enjoying the Uunartoq hot springs. South Greenland is definitely getting under my skin, as each trip there makes me appreciate the nature, sunshine and general pleasantness of being there, both from the milder climate and also the warmer people.

Can’t wait to see it in a couple months!!
Have a great trip!
What a breathtaking land!
The hot springs were amazing!
Just came back from our 16-day Princess cruise to Qaqortoq, Greenland. =)
Greenland, my favorite bucket list destination ever. Your videos are always filled with a surprise or two, ice arch and a seal, a beach with brilliant blue water and off course that hot spring. Love the town and trees and surroundings. Can't wait for the next video 🤗. As always, greetings from South Africa 🌍💛🇿🇦.
Hehe true, just saw some hiking videos from South Africa, near Drakensberg on UA-cam.. Definitely also looks appealing!
That ginormous ice arch on the water was out of this world!
It was so incredible to see🤗
A Greenlandic town with trees! They must be very proud of that, I imagine.
Yup, it really gives a nice contrast to the otherwise scarce vegetation
Oh wow......this is by far one of your coolest videos!!! OMG! I pray I pray to go there soon 🙏!! Once again dear, Love from San Francisco CA 🙆❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️! Your videos have been amazing therapy and a comfort to my soul 🤗.
It has definitely also been one of the more enjoyable trips! South Greenland is getting better each time im there😊
Looks amazing those springs. Been to Greenland twice and would love to return!
Awesome video, what an incredible place. Sad to see the water melting off the icebergs. :(
Such a spectacular place ☺ can't wait for 2024. We'd surely visit Greenland. Thanks for the beautiful videos always
Hope you enjoy it!
I love your channel. I have always been fascinated by Greenland so with your videos I can see some of it. Please keep them coming 🙏🏻
Thanks a lot for the kind message!
I will do my best🙋🏼♂️
Awesone place! This little town is so lovely and it looks like a "Greenlandic summer resort", probably for its very southern position. Thank you very much for sharing.
Qaqortoq is Also known as the Greenlandic Riviera 😎
@@AlexAmasaOlsen Really amazing. Thank you
Ok another part of Greenland. Lets see.. I need to learn more ! I need to prepare for my future. Better this then reading boring stuff on Wilipedia 🥰
Thanks Alex. Haha what an awesome "coincidence" (or synchronicity depending on your perspective) that I discovered your channel.
Oh I forgot to tell you how new islands and "continents" will soon appear after some underwater movements hahaha 💫
So yeah the future is so exciting sometimes my visions of the future are so vivid and awesome its hard to fall asleep 😂 Because its so exciting, and many people would even have a hard time just understanding the things I see with my 3rd eye 😂
Even I, often have to do research on tech and science that was shown in those visions 😂 Its so weird but Im loving it.
So many years this false narrative apocalyptic stuff was taking all the room. NO MORE 💫 And its very recent. They lost. We won. The future is bright and its human 🥰
So many awesome things guys ! Your dreams are even BELOW whats coming for us 🥰💫
OMG ALEX !! Glimpse of the future right there at 7m53. Lol this airport thing.. see ? Read my other comments I told you about a certain bridge ^^
Well on your map'go East near the water and a bridge is there and it leads to Svalbard. But remember the island has grown bigger in the future (ice melting ?!?), or at least thats what I sensed ^^
Omg i felt like two big communities uniting and visiting each other so much more often, trading more easily and stuff.
New centers will be build and new cities for people to live and visit. Oh yeah at some point Pyramiden gets this upgrade then my team's work is complete and we move to another location ( i dont see past this point in my personnal future though).
Haha i love how this is the first steps right there. Awesome 💫
Its like Greenland becomes this Huge entity and Alaska/Canada/Terres-Neuves also similar vibe and role for the people located in usa and america in general. Also im pretty sure its gonna grow in size just like orher parts i already told you.
My understanding is that Gaia will make room for people to live and thrive, in new ways unknown to many people still at this time 💫
I've spent some time in Qaqortoq (8 years) so as for infrastructure it's in the making...
And as far as may goes, Spring is absolutely the most beautiful time of year in South Greenland...🥰😍
Hehe, I like all the dots, highlighting the "in the making" process😄
@@AlexAmasaOlsen well... it's Greenland some times things move along, in an almost Mediterranean style - SLOW as well as you know, and the banana coast is no better😂
@@andreallan91 True! That Banana coast lifestyle! :-) Hakuna matata or Ajunngilaq
@@AlexAmasaOlsen exactly... that's the way we roll down there, no stress and no fuss🤭
Awesome video enjoyed it very much!
Thanks! I also enjoyed the hot springs!😁😆
Gorgeous vistas, as always. And yes, from what I’ve read about Greenland, so far, I always found it funny that Qaqortoq, being a fairly big town, does not have its own airport… but looks like that will change soon enough.
It truly is weird, but the helicopter ride from Narsarsuaq is pretty spectacular as well🤩 But taking a direct airplane to Qaqortoq will definitely help!
@@AlexAmasaOlsen
I’d still be game for the chopper ride, nonetheless… at least, to try it once 😎
@@jcmat9917 Its such a breathtaking helicopter ride from Qaqortoq-Narsaq-Narsarsuaq
Greetings from 🇬🇹, excellent vídeo 👍👌
Hey! And thanks a lot!😁
That place looks awesome 👍🏻
It truly is🙌
Hi Alex. Any exciting activities to do in Greenland on November for solo traveller? I’m so excited to finally get a chance to visit Greenland this year, although it’s not summer.. I have looked many guided tour activities, but it seems November is not the best month to visit there. Cheers from Indonesia :)
I'll be there in june. How did you find the boat? Can you give me the contact of the owner of the Targa boat you used to go to Uunartoq? What is the cost of that excursion? Thanks for your interesting video and for your answer.
I went with Anguteeraq Høegh Olsen, who owns a Targa 25, I believe this is their website: sagalands.com/tour-search/
I paid 1.400kr pr person for a full day at the hotsprings
Hi Alex, We're going there in Sep, which boat co took you guys to the hot spring? Do you recall how much you paid for the ride? Thanks

Do people wear t-shirts and eat ice cream in Greenland?
What currency to they take. We will be visiting in September.
Danish krone is the currency in Greenland, hope you enjoy your stay in september!
FIIIRST!
Hahaha ... Never understood this way of claiming view virginity of a video .... Anyways good video !! Keep going
@@sks6184 Never understood it either, but guess theres a FIIIRST for everything ;-)
I’m already considering investing in property in 🇬🇱 !
Hehe, would be nice with a small spring/late summer place in South Greenland, thats for sure!
Is your cap.From.argentina? It says patagonia!
I think Patagonia is an American brand, much like The North Face
There's no trees
I can't stand it!!!! I have to get to Greenland!!!!!
Better do😎😆
Thanks for sharing....I have always been so fascinated with Greenland and especially South Greenland....looks majestic
It really is lovely when sun is out and usually you dont have as many mosquitoes when there are sheep around😎
