NO WAY!! Haha that is SO CRAZY! Wow, we were absolutely obsessed with your doggies! They made our whole day haha! How cool that you ended up watching this video!
They are the best! The yellow is named Lille which means ‘little’. The dark one is Gringu, he is named after the German Shepherd we had when I was a baby. It’s so funny to suddenly see our dogs on UA-cam. So cool!
@@chloeandludvig you’re so very welcome haha! Thanks for visiting our country, I hope you had a great time in our small city! I automatically subscribed when I saw my dogs!
We live in Ilulissat for our third year now. Husband with Munck building a new upgraded airport so bigger planes can land here? I love your video and your excitement seeing and experiencing everything! Reminds me so much of us when we arrived here! Greenland is just an amazing country! So so beautiful! You must come and visit Ilulissat! Third largest town with 5000 inhabitants and 3000 greenlandic sled dogs! You will love it here! We also have the most productive fjord in the northern hemisphere and a UNESCO World heritage site! Takuss! ❤
Oh my goodness, that's awesome! Wow, where were you before Greenland? We loved it there and definitely have it on our list of places to visit again! Ilulissat is going on there! :D
Enjoyed your video. I’ll be visiting Greenland and Iceland next month. Qaqortoq is on the itinerary. Now the town will look a little familiar. I understand our ship provides bug nets to wear over a hat.
@@chloeandludvig What month did you cruise to Greenland? I'd be bummed about a missed port due to weather. We missed out on Torshavn last year due to weather. Excellent video, thank you!

Glad you made it. Many of us have tried several times by Cruise Ship and also by Air but have had our trips and and tours cancelled due to bad weather and "other" extenuating circumstances. If you book a trip to Greenland its as likely as not that you will not make it.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! And that’s so exciting for you 😍 we didn’t actually use cash as we were able to use our card the whole time. I’m sure your cruise operator will be able to let you know :)

I’m not sure if it is a year round thing! You do kinda get used to it after a while, and they sell some trendy mosquito head nets ;) we were here in September
The mosquitos are here from spring to autumn. Qaqortoq has them, Narsaq the nearby smaller town not so much. We don't almost have them in Qassiarsuk (Brattahliđ).
We were hoping to see whales/seals while cruising through Prince Christian Sound, but no unfortunately we didn't! It is very common to spot them though! :D
