The biggest lesson to learn is how to control your psychology in trading. Most traders have an undying urge to be in the market all the time because they feel that they are missing opportunities. This always leads to pressure trades and trading at the wrong time, perhaps with a big news event or data release looming. Be patient and take the time to find the best entries with the most probable outcomes.
I spent $1,000 on a course that made reference to Tradingview and introduced charts on trading view without explanation of how to use the features. This did a better job than that course. I will need to look at it a few more times though to thoroughly understand it.

The chart starts at 13:30 and finishes at 19:30, then next days of chart all the same. Is it a limitation of free account? To get 24hs real time data, only for the paid version? thanks!

Do i need to save the chart for those lines?? I tried to to save the chart, it is not alling me to save more than 10 stocks. I don't need any indicator to be saved i only need those lines. Hi, I can't see the cursor after clicking on any of the drawing tools. Also in normal conditions I can see the cursor as long as I keep the mouse pressed. If I release the cursor disappears. It use to work fine few days ago. But now i am having this issue. Kindly tell me what I can do to solve this. Please..
How to compare 2 pairs with regular price scale? When I add a pair to compare, it autmatically changes to % scale and if I want to change the scale back to regular, because of a divergence of prices charts are far away from each other and totally flat...

Do you know why when I am using candlestick on free membership a lot of the charts display flat doji's everywhere on the chart? Is this because I am on free membership?
When you click on a ticker does the name bats appear next to the ticker name? I think that is the problem. Bats have less market data so that charts look uncomplete. I think you paid for extra market data fees that is why you don't see them.
The heat map www.tradingview.com/markets/currencies/cross-rates-overview-prices/ which is prices neither buy nor sell (but average) often shows inconsistent values. For example, EURUSD doesn't equal 1/USDEUR within acceptable rounding error. So they take people as idiots, don't they?

How do you hedge on Tradingview? When I program a strategy to long and short, they seem to interfere with each other or cancel each other out. I want to be able to long and short using only 5% of my funds and be in several trades while others are being executed and closed, without any trades interfering with each other. Anyone out there in YT land know if it's possible to 'toggle' between charts on a saved, multi-chart layout? I keep having to go up to the 'select layout' button and select 6 charts, then maximise a single chart from there. I want to have 1 of my 6 charts open and toggle between the charts in my layout, but always keep the chart maximised
Hey there. Im new to Tradeview but have been getting along pretty well in it until today. For some reason AETI stopped showing up on the scanner today. So I checked to make sure I didnt have some sort of limitation set for a search of securities, even went so far as to set it to default, but I could never get it to show back up, or any stock for that matter that was trading over a 53% change. I know that it was doing it because I was able to keep an eye on the stocks last week that were moving over 100%. Anyone have any idea why, or suggestions on what to look for? I really like it over marketchamelion's screener but at least it was showing up on theirs. Thanks - N
Nevermind... I know what happened. They blocked it on the scanners so people wouldnt rush to it and participate in running the price up. That is market fixing!

Just found it. Right click on chart and select "Hide marks on bars".
