Because market saturation and success for us is a good thing, whereas other industries successful competition and saturation is bad. The more retail traders doing this right the better
Lol..he does not know any trading .he is just rambling ...he has never been profitable .he is just on you tube to make content n get paid .he is not even a trader .
Another tip is in a bearish market, create a sell limit pending order 5 to 10 pips above the current stop loss so that when the market stops you out the first time, at least you have a backup order when the market returns to the original bearish direction.
Hahahahah! I haven't had that bad luck quite yet but I can only imagine. I've made 6 trades and am currently up 1.8%. Nothing great but I accidentally hit my 3 day trades for the week and wasn't thinking about it and had to hold 3 stocks overnight. Otherwise I would be around 7% up.
I’ve glad in tears hearing the story at 18:10, it was so right. Despite high winning rates, only one stupid none-stop loss trade can destroy your whole account.
Hello Rayner , Many Thanks for this video lesson. This was much needed. The best feature about your videos that I like is the Recap part, helps me in remembering all the Topics especially when I'm stressed out! Thanks and GOD Bless!
Note: 1. no one size fits all 2. Your broker doesnt hunt ur stops *How to avoid this scenario: put sl at above/below res/sup *SL=ATR+-prev. Swing price 3. Larger Stop = Smaller Size *Do position sizing properly 4. Should u place stop loss? *.... Absolutely Yes
Thank you for sharing! I've been having the exact equity curve you mentioned! I do exactly what you said I shouldn't be doing, holding on for dear life and then getting out for small profits all the time. When I do loose, I loose big. This video really helped me open my eyes somewhat, especially with the AT indicator! Thank you for sharing! I subscribed to your channel!!
Stop loss are key especially for fast moving trades...I am basically a trend trader and most of my trades move slowly, I use no hot keys, I trade less, i manually enter and exit trades...i hence incur little commission.
Brokers are actually allowed to widen the price just to take your stop loss. You agree with that by signing the agreement during the registration. They usually do that during increased volatility or at the times when prices are being ran for a stop hunt on a institutional level. Retail brokers are allowed to set the price discrepancy in comparison to price that there is on a banking level, its all part of a game.
17:52 If you know QFL this is the perfect scenario to make huge profits. Buying panic sells and react to the bounce that comes..this was a huge profit for me. if you would have used a stop loss here you would end up in a huge loss as you will get shaken out by whales. Its clear everytime that alot of people have stop losses in place and there also alot of people who want them to trigger. It consists of DCA buying panic dumps and selling the reaction which ALWAYS occures on big coins. If you are a breakeout trades then yes...a SL will save your ass
"Sometimes" the market "somehow" will hit your stop loss. The broker wont take your stop loss because there is the risk of losing the license, but HFTs will pay the broker for the information and being ahead of you on the orders on the queue. That's how free trading makes money to brokers and HFTs
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. How about the entry stop out just before hitting stop loss point? I have experienced this situation where my entry stop loss point 1780.00 but stop out at 1781.71. why did this happen? Thanks for the answer.
I traded without stop losses on the hood stock recently but that price never came back up after hitting its all-time high and I had to take a loss it can sometimes work for you if the price comes back up but it's far too stressful waiting and hoping that it does, I ended up blowing a 700 dollar funded account
Hi Rayner, one question please. Should my Trailing stop loss be as big as Stop loss? Thanks 🙏 in advance? Also, could you please answer separately for both forex and stocks if you make any videos in case?
Great video! Thanks so much I am learning a lot! I'm new to trading and just trying out a bit of paper trading on eToro... I've tried setting up a stop loss on a trade using your method, however eToro won't let me set it high enough. The highest I can place the stop loss is equivalent to almost 3% loss of my balance (and I had planned to set it at 1% like you've advised in your other videos). Am I missing something? Cheers!
Thank you for sharing. My question is how to calculate stop loss as a day trader? Can you make a video to share with us. Your kind sharing is very much appreciated.
Thank you very much. I'm a beginner in trading so sorry if the question is to obvious. It's possible to put stop losses with conditions? Example: The price of X is 100. I want to put a stop loss at 110 only when the price of X is already 120. I want to trigger the stop loss only and if the price reaches 120. It would be possible? Thank you very much!
Can i ask a question please Rayner, i haven't traded yet but i want to try, but i was a little apprehensive about Brokers who may bid against you while youre paying them for a service, how can a trader guard against this. I love your videos.
Really great videos man, i really enjoy them and i keep going back and forward, i still cant perfect my style but you are helping a ton, i really appreciate your work, please keep it going. cheers from Mexico

Great points man. Brokers don't hunt stops. Many traders do a good enough job of losing their money all on their own lol
Cheers Zenarchist!

I trade with Renko so keep my SL consistent at 3 blocks with a TP at 2:1 - works great. Time-based charts are way too noisy.
Thank you Sir ❤
Keep guiding us❤

Thanks Rayner! But tell me. Does using ATR really work for ALL timeframes??? Which time frame is BEST to use the ATR for setting a stop loss?
Thank you!!

Hi Ray, Does your account size include the leverage you chose from your broker or your raw deposit?
btc did return in 2021-22!! no stop loss gang like ..
Market Makers do hunt stop losses, if the volume is large enough at that level. Heard this from a former MM.
Please can this be used when trading on spot
Very helpful! Thx 🙏
Brother, I studied trading with your videos, I have a question when I put stop loss, I always loss money, why? Can brokers see your stop loss?

Im new in trading, is the stop loss youre referring towards the resistance, is setting up of the profit target?
Thank you for sharing. My question is how to calculate stop loss as a day trader? Can you make a video to share with us. Your kind sharing is very much appreciated.
@Rayner Teo OK, thanks
Just love you man....❣️
Does time frames affect the order we place?
Amazing!
Question! What about a one or 2 ATR stop loss from the entry? Because the trade is not valid until that point anyways.
a nice logical video with a simple explanation for newbies - thanks Rayner!
You are real superman.
15:35 what is 1 lot equivalent? and what is 10pip?
Thank you very much. I'm a beginner in trading so sorry if the question is to obvious.
It's possible to put stop losses with conditions?
Example:
The price of X is 100.
I want to put a stop loss at 110 only when the price of X is already 120.
I want to trigger the stop loss only and if the price reaches 120.
It would be possible?
Thank you very much!
