• 1 Reel Polyester Cord 3mm, 150m, 200gr
• A 4mm crochet hook US: G/6
• A 2.5mm crochet hook US:C/2
• A 25cm Zipper
• 8 Stitch Markers 2 O which in a separate distinct color

I'm going to try and make this with raffia and see how it turns out. I'm going to order the 3mm cord though, this wristlet is gorgeous!
It will work just fine! Maybe slightly more transparent because with raffia it's difficult to make your work dense. Please send a picture of the finished bag! I d love to see it!

Ι Guess if you attach a drawstring linning. But this will be harder than to attach a zipper.

Thicker yarn and bigger hook, or work out size vs number of stitches and adjust accordingly

If I want to make bigger, then can I take 19 chain and start?
You can. But this will change the entire pattern of the base and the rounds with increases. If I were you I d use a thicker yarn with the corresponding hook. This will produce a bigger bag without any changes in the original pattern.

So every time I do patterns that start with this oval shape, I start off great and get maybe the third or fourth row in and my stitch count is always off. I’m doing the increases where they should be and following along.

Οval is the mosy difficult shape in crochet. I believe it's your join. You are probably eating or adding stitches with your. Join. Have you tried my the way I show in the video?

@@ParaligoApola I agree, oval shape is difficult and I always had trouble in the past but your video showed me how to use stitch markers and your counting worked perfectly for me. I did have to still be very careful at the join. Thanks for teaching me this method. I can now use it in the future when I make an oval.
How many gram of yarn did you use?
200gr/ 150 m that's one skein of 3mm polyester cord
Can i make this bag using acrylic yarn?
It will be really soft and it won't hold its shape!

Sure! It's 20x15x6cm (length x height x depth) and the handle is 38cm long.

theres an error in round 9 of the written pattern. the second increase set you wrote sc in next 5 stitches instead of 6.
