Keturah has got the chops to be the lead singer for Earthside what an amazing singer with such an amazing band as well all totally awesome separate but together out of this world bad ass!
I ended up back here today to watch the video again and scrolled through the comments. Wow, what mega feedback for Keturah. I also think she's absolutely fantastic on We Who Lament. Apart from that, unlike many here, I think it's brilliant that Earthside doesn't have a permanent singer. The use of the human voice as a musical instrument and a means of conveying emotions gives the songwriting unlimited possibilities for creativity and expression. 📢 I would rather say hats off to the guys for taking on the difficulties involved in such a production process and the enormous courage. The choice of voices (and musicians) is extremely successful. I also like the message behind being a "collective" rather thanaband. (... it's in keeping with Let The Truth Speak.) I'm excited to see what else Earthside will inspire us with in the future. And grateful to discover new artists through them. Live, I think it could be cool if there were some strings. I love the string parts. Of course, this is all just my personal opinion, which is not more important than any other opinion.
Wish you'd make her a permanent singer, her voice fits so well with the distinct Earthside sound. I think you found your "forever vocalist", now convince her to stay! 😄🙏
I said the same thing about Daniel Tompkins, and I thought Lejon Witherspoon was better with this band than he ever was in Sevendust. The point is, these guys are Berklee grads that want to work with mulitple singers. If they wanted a full time singer, they'd have one.
This is so good. Visceral stuff. Gut-wrenchingly so. I want to hear more. It suits the times we live in. My new protest music. Yeah. I'm 72. I've been missing this.
I just love this title. Like crazy. I'm so taken with the voice and the bewitching music. You've given us two fantastic albums. Please, dear band members, continue !!!!
I know a lot of people would love her as a permanent member (myself included) but one of the coolest things about Earthside is them grabbing "random" singers that don't usually do prog and having them go all out in ridiculous 8+ minute compositions. Remember Eric Zirlinger in Contemplation of the Beautiful? Lajon Witherspoon in Mob Mentality? You'd never expect to hear them in tracks like that, and yet they pulled them off perfectly. If they had gone with Eric as a permanent singer (as an example), we'd never have gotten this monster of a track with Keturah.
Keturah is outstanding on Let the Truth Speak, but I agree; their use of (fantastic) guest singers really adds a fun variety to the music, case in point, Larry Braggs, an R&B singer, is amazing on "The Lesser Evil."
One of the best songs i've ever heared. That unique voice of keturah johnson like no other combined with great melody and that drumms, just perfect guys 🤘😎🤘
Same here, I think I am on number 10 already just this evening. And in my car, wow so loud I have it.. InZane song this.. Just digg the vocals, and of course the End, wow, the End..
My favorite track from the latest album! Keturah's voice elevates the mood of the music, especially during the transition around the 4:00 mark. It's great to see it finally get a well-deserved official video.
I was underwhelmed upon first listen. Second listen had me intrigued. Now 6 listens later I fully love this song. Their marriage of math style arrangements to Keturah's ethereal, almost ambient vocals are stunning. Reminds me of what Ashe did when he was with TesseracT. Great job guys!
"We Who Lament" and "Denial's Aria" are my two absolute favorites from the new album, and it's in no small part due to the vocal performances. Awesome music video!
This song is incredible. Ever since you released it, it has accompanied me during amazing moments in my life throughout this entire year, helping me through extremely difficult times and giving me a clarity that few songs have ever provided. We need more keturah
You have an amazing gift of adding voices to your compositions. All your guest vocalists are marvelous. My favorite song will always be Let The Truth Speak, but We Who Lament is absolutely gorgeous too
Power and grace. Earthside has always been a wonder band, and their vocal choices has always been top notch. Hope this relationship is more stable and we get to see more from her as vocal.
The songwriting ability of this group is otherworldly. Truly special. To release two albums of perfect music is phenomenal. As others have said, Keturah is a gem and I hope she returns at some point for another song or album. She fits the music so well. You folks have a true talent for finding and incorporating different vocal styles to your music. You've had over a dozen vocalists on your albums and each one has been visceral and beautiful.
Keturah’s vocals recorded at Buckingham Palace Audio in Buckingham, QC I live in the same city! Very cool to know there's a part of my home in this music. Go Sens!

It's fantastic 🤘 thank you Ben!

+1 for making Keturah the full time vocalist 👍
that is good news.
No disrespect to any of the other phenomenal singers appearing on the album, but this girl is a match made in heaven for the band
One of the SICKEST vocal performances
Just Make Keturah the main vocalist of all the songs.
Personally I vote Larry Braggs in full time, his performance was unreal and it's my favourite song on the album by a mile
As much as I love Keturah's voice, I fear Earthside would lose part of its identify by doing that. But having her on another collab would be amazing
@@yvesrosenbaum7718 Isn't she on »Denial's Aria«, too?
I second that 👍
@@gaspode8 She is.
Her voice is pure gold with this band.
I need more Keturah, with any band or by herself idc I need to hear her voice more often everywhere ❤
Her band is named The Heavy Medicine Band, very different from Earthside.

@bullgrim thank you have been trying to figure out the band she's jn
@@bullgrim Thanks a lot man! I have been looking for other stuff she is in, I like her vocals, but had trouble tracing her.
@@bullgrim I tried to find what she's in a while back to no success, thanks dude

Agreed!!
Yes, she sounds very good with this band, keep her trucking..

Daniel is also a sick combination with earthside but u cant take him from tesseract 😂
More Keturah with Earthside please.
She is so good. So very, very good.
Really nice and special voice on Keturah, I like it very much.
I love this band. And Keturah. I just gotta say she slays me.
I really hope we get more of Keturah in the future
Absolute masterpiece.
The singing is phenomenal
The drumming is phenomenal
The bass is phenomenal
The keys are phenomenal
The guitar is phenomenal
Like they say: It's allll Goood ! 🤗
Keturah got the Tones Down, she needs to be featured in more songs, she is Amazing.. 🙏🏻✝
This is so good. Visceral stuff. Gut-wrenchingly so. I want to hear more. It suits the times we live in. My new protest music. Yeah. I'm 72. I've been missing this.
Im in love with this song, the musicians performance, with Keturah's voice and acting. Never get tired of this beautiful videoclip 😊
This clip is the best thing that's happened to me in all 2024
One of the greatest songs of this decade for me. And easily one of my favourite prog songs
Absolutely all right !!
I just love this title. Like crazy. I'm so taken with the voice and the bewitching music.
You've given us two fantastic albums. Please, dear band members, continue !!!!
I have no clue who is the singer of the band but This song is pure honey to my ears
Now I NEED an Earthside song with a Daniel + Keturah duet on vocals.
Please, Lord: let me be a witness of that greatness! 😂
I'll be expecting that next album earthside 👀

Keturahs voice is such an amazing match to your sound. Love that song. We definitely need more of this!
Super cool video too.
Probably my favorite song from the album, certainly most listened one :)
Absolute masterpiece!!
Just have to chime in with the consensus that these vocals are amazing combined with the music.
This was really something . . .
This is my favorite song of all time. It’s so dreamy and beautiful and I can’t stop listening to it. It’s truly a masterpiece

This woman and her patterns and voice are mystical
The bass tone on this is insane
One of the best songs i've ever heared.
That unique voice of keturah johnson like no other combined with great melody and that drumms, just perfect guys 🤘😎🤘
this is the best song of the record. I Agree, Keturah should be your main singer.
Totally agreed
I came across this track last week, and the number of times I play it each day increases each day 😂
Same here, I think I am on number 10 already just this evening. And in my car, wow so loud I have it.. InZane song this.. Just digg the vocals, and of course the End, wow, the End..

That DRUMMER though!!!😮😮😮
Keturah in the flesh!! This is soooooo dope! Also, being able to see Ben's work on the drums in the music video is also so sick!
This is so good. Thank you ❤
Keturah's voice on this song is out of this world! Loved it ❤❤
I love this song, Keturah I love your voice😍❤️❤️
Keturah voice fit well with Earthside, make her permanent singer pls.
Absolutely insane voice. 🤘
This is artistry. Bravo.
I've probably listened to this about 20 times this morning. Her voice is unreal. Just wow.
We need a drum playthrough of this song

Amazing! ❤🔥
This song really is something special.
Match in heaven. Love it ❤
Nice
First time coming across both the band and the singer, and I can't believe she's not permanent. Unbelievably cohesive and compelling sound.
Oh my ❤ flooding of goosebumps ❤
OMG how much I love the drums. Out of this world. Playthrough please
I'll listen to this forever...
Why does this remind me so much of Fair to Midland?
This song sent me on a vision quest.
Yes! I loved Altered State because of Ashe. Wish Keturah would sing at least one entire Earthside record in the future...
I just click a video looking for new music, I didn't expect to be absolutely floored. This is brilliant.
"We Who Lament" and "Denial's Aria" are my two absolute favorites from the new album, and it's in no small part due to the vocal performances. Awesome music video!
never heaard of these before. very nice im playing it twice :D
Saw these guys back in Berkeley (opening for Caligula's Horse). Never seen a key player love his job more than this guys does. Great show!!

Incredible track from an incredible album.
This song is a feast for the ears, and somehow that voice is the main course, wine, and dessert
This serves me well
The music works so well with Keturah's voice. Great track!

True but Earthside needs pernament vocalist in the band. Keturah isn’t in any band now. She should tour with them and became full time Eartside singer
Great stuff ❤❤❤
Amazing great Prog Metal yes
Will be in rotation for me 4 sure
Congratulations on this brilliant song and visuals.
YES! Finally! This song deserved a video for years now. Great job guys. The only thing left now is to fly her down and do it live!!
Superb video, great track, very deep and up lifting ! And, oh, did i say thatt i liked the video ?
Outstanding track! Saw you in Montréal, awesome show!!
One of the most special songs I've ever come across. Props to all of you. Keturah is obviously just phenomenal.
Easily my favorite on the album, so nice to have a music vid now!
I already love it. I love you guys. Just love you all.
She needs to be their lead singer period!
Absolute masterpiece. Everything in this song is pure gold. 10/10
Yes Jamie, between Eric or Keturah , don´t care, bring any 🙌
You had always magnificent guest vocalists but make her constant on your every album just brilliant 🤘🤘
a ballad with this voice would be great
Does “Denial’s Aria” count? 🤔

Gorgeous track. Keturah's voice is chef's kiss on this 🤌
phénoménal .
There are so many good sides of progressive metal, so much creativity within the genres and ambiances, I really fucking love it
This has gotta be one of the best songs I've ever heard in any genre of music
Why doesn't anyone talk about the amazing job Ben Shanbrom did on drums? 🔥🔥🔥
Great sounding track! Would also love to hear a collaboration with Stefanie Mannaerts from Brutus!
Keturah’s vocals recorded at Buckingham Palace Audio in Buckingham, QC
I live in the same city! Very cool to know there's a part of my home in this music.
Go Sens!
This track is incredible. One of the standouts from an absolute masterpiece of an album.
