Utrecht’s canal system is one of a kind in the world with its wharves and wharf level structures. Basically, an old canal is lined with a basement wharf which provides a two-level street that runs alongside the canal. And a lot of these wharves, have restaurants, or bars that people go to and then hop on a boat and get on a canal tour
