the intro to this video 😂😂 i would love to hear your thoughts on The Idiot! i love Dostoyevsky too, and i am super excited to read The Idiot at some point. i am currently reading The Brothers Karamazov. my edition (Wordsworth Classics) is 870 pages. while i'm here: what are you thoughts on White Nights, if you've read it?
Aw I am so happy you are reading TBK! I hope you are loving it!! 🥰🥰 And see I knew it must have been over 800 pages in some edition 😌 but omg no I haven’t read White Nights! 😭😭 I’m literally a fake Dostoevsky fan aren’t I?! I have it but I am scared of reading all of Dostoevsky’s works too fast and then having nothing left to read by him🤧 I assume you read it?! Did you like it? 💜💜
@@literarydiscoverieswithdan6078 I haven't read it either, actually. I saw some quotes online and immediately felt that I would fall in love with it. I thought you might have read and wondered, as a Dostoevsky fan, whether you thought it was any good. But I completely understand not wanting to read all his works in one-go. We have to savour the good things in life :)
Omg it is such a struggle, right?! 😫 I always try to remind myself that I can still reread his books but it’s still not the same as discovering the story for the first time 🥺🥺 I am at least grateful that he wrote so much during his life though! haha 💜
Big books is something I need to make more of a priority! 😊
Having a big book lying around always makes life a little better 🥰
