I love how Dokutah here is so calm even being assassinated, nice to see Doc in events like this in events even if as a spectator. and platinum joined RI after she tried to run away from the AU and bumped into Dokutah, she's one the ops who are pretty interested in the Doc, so she definitely goes in my list.
After reading this event, i realize the only reason there is no full blown confrontation with shining is because we are not ready for shining alter yet
The last 2 on-screen assassination attempts (Skullshatterer and the Sarkaz who lost faith in Theresa) failed miserably. Amiya stabbed Skullshatterer dead with an Arts shiv while the Sarkaz was so mindbroken when the Doctor diagnosed him with loss of faith that he an hero'd.
I'm very interested how Flatinum join RL after what she try assassinate doctor and letting her become a operater. Also after I read flatinum file it doesn't mention about her joining RL and her file story saying only she inviting us for a date. That's mean she have a crush on us.
The best part of the story, IMO is that finally the armorless union realize that there is a difference between assassinating someone in the dark and fighting them in the open. Roy nearly got his head chop off by Mlynar, Monique was just completely out-skilled by Shining and well platinum... she and her armorless basically got completely "massacre".
I honestly want to see Schwarz, being one of the most dangerous assassins in Terra, tries to take down the entire Armorless Union. I mean, from what I've remembered, she was trained by a clan but betrayed and destroyed them when she was 12(?), has 20 years of combat experience, & can use anything as a weapon (pencils, books, etc according to her archive files). She is like the John Wick of Terra (Kill Lady Ceylon and she will be 100% like him).

I love how Tola was basically that dude bringing pizza only to see the whole room in chaos. He was not even related to the plot, and he literally walked half the entire world just to find the perfect battle. If there's ever a sequel to this story, it should either be Mylnar looking for both Nearls parents, or Toland's uprising. We need a full husbando banner, just Mylnar, Tola, Dikaiopolis and Toland.
16:30 Actually, Roy "helped" Nearl & Shining by purposely stand in different direction from his boss' instruction, for them to react fast enough to block the Darksteels' arrow aiming at Nightingale. His reason was not to over-provoke NTR knight for them to become the focus for her revenge, which can get in the way of their "other important mission".

The whole Kazimierz Major trilogy is probably one of the best ones in terms of writing. The narrative, the themes, the characters and their developments (there are just so many great characters in this story), and different perspectives from all the parties that are involve are all executed in an engaging and satisfying way. Overall a solid story

It basically adds more context to the characters that are involved in both Maria Nearl and Nearl Light (the likes of Flametail, Ashlock, Fartooth, WIld Mane, Platinum, Nearl, and Malkiewicz).

Don't forget when Nearl and The Blood Knight is walking towards the hall of heroes, Monique (Lazurite) STILL breaks her promise and attempts to kill Nearl with a 4th arrow only for Shining to deflect it, and whispers to her from afar "4th arrow". Monique literally got scared and chickens out
YEEEEEEY, I WAS WAITING FOR THIS YEAAAAAAH!!! Near Light is a heavily jam-packed story with cutscenes going over half an hour. So many things happening.. so many pieces moving.. So I was worried if some people just don't read them because of that. Yeeeeey!!
That scene toward the end, where Margaret is helping Dikaiopolis to the champions' hall, that was amazing. All the villainous elements coming to stop them, regardless of who sees them, and all the others coming to defend the pair... I got goosebumps reading that!
I loved this event for many reasons : Flatinium getting bullied, Doctor being a chad, Monique triggered because she gets interrupted every single time, Roy being Roy, Toland being Toland
NL is definitely one of my fav bcs of how long it is ngl, this lenght should be the standard for most event/main. it also one of my fav storytelling bcs it tells so much at the same time, huge reality slap that shows "you are not the only char in this story". even Margaret didn't have all the spotlight, nor Sona or Platinum. we can even argue how Doc is probably more important in this event than most even if he only does stuff in the bg. and that's life, you are seldomly the mc and if you are it's hardly matters. NL also shows how grey this "Evil" that Margaret trying to fight, KGCC brought Kazimierz into a powerful economy house like Lungmen and Dossoles, money from those can fuel any war against Ursus with ease. but they're not good either. it's impossible to brand them evil or good in the first place, they're there to fulfill the demands and to push further the economic prospects which EVERY nation with a right mind should do. and the fact that this story ends with not such a decisive result, Margaret and her ideals must and still takes years or decades before the Honor is back in Kazimierz, it's a one time things where hero cane back and everyone changes in an instant like stupid in some story, a change need times and AK shows that very well. all in all i would read this story again and again, so many details and i think in the future it'll probably be more relevant. and without and disrespect, no TLDR or summary is enough to convey the whole tones and moods NL has, like most of recent event in AK (ITW, GA, SN)
I think that's a pessimistic view with the "you are not the mc" lol. Optimistic way of seeing it is "you are the main character of your own story" and that applies to many of the characters in NL
@@podled942 that's realistic, my approach to that is how MC usually the one whose choice and path matter the most, but on NL everyone matter or didn't matter at the same time. the big player of KGCC still exist (the Columbian reporter), Adeptus isn't a single body with single voices, the highest of the knights nobles still hold much power and Doctor played them all in the bg. Margaret was center of the attention for the ppl of Kazimierz but for us the reader she doesn't have the absolute or even majority of the spotlight
Yes, and this is one aspect that I like about AK story. So realistic like in our real life, yet sometimes it's a fantasy nonetheless. And the other, you can't do anything and everything overnight, and the world doesn't revolve around you.

The thing that certains here is that Mlynar is so a tsundere for an uncle. He said that he didn't want to meddle with Nearl sisters' ambition. But helped them multiple times nonetheless, of course, in a tsundere ways. Mlynar doesn't realize that he is middle aged person, does he? lol
I keep seeing people say that he doesn't care foe them like dude, he raised them himself when their parents disappeared and stuff, even going behind the scenes to protect them Its just he's so discouraged by Kazimierz ever since the disappearance of Maria's and Margaret's parents that he became realistic, and of course imagine seeing one of your relatives joining a fight that they could not get out alive, of course I would be pissed too. But the ending got me thinking that he might've revived some of his idealism that he once lost after seeing the entire fiasco that happened, and went out not only to search for the parent's whereabouts, but also himself in the process, which is good and healthy for him, tbh. Overall, I see him as a uncle who gives "tough" love that deeply cares.

14:57 The way I understood it was that Viviana (contrary to Nearl) doesn't use light arts, but precisely uses darkness arts, that come from the shadows that her candle shows. But Nearl's light was so bright that it overpowered that, so this match was mostly decided by arts ability.
You're doing God's work While i do find the Arknights story very interesting, i can't say the same in the way it's delivered. sadly the way they tell their stories drags on for too long at times and seeing you summarizing things this well really helped out a lot. I look forward to more content like this
I wouldn't say fighting capitalism, just fighting an extreme version of it, similarly to the main plot where it's all about fighting opposite extremes (reunion/ursus army) that end up being equally dangerous, after all Rhodes island has Closure and is a private company
@@postsingluarity6159 you can say that Kazimierz is one of the socioecopolitical model that ensures the highest rate of development as a country. one might argue that dictatorship is the best model for that but the leader are not immortal, one day when they stepped down the replacement could destroy everything built before. but democracy isn't good either, it takes too damn long to develop stuff in exchange for fragile stability

Nearl just had a temporary leave. She will just be fixing some sht in Kazimierz and would probably just fly back again when Rhodes Island needs her or if her homies needs her.
I am sure she will be back after all if u read her Operator records she often visits Rhodes island ship to meet Maria and Zofia.Since act 2 will involve Shining and Nightingale a lot with Shining famously saying "Liz u may come to hate me for what i am going to do in Londinium" if anything happens only Nearl can solve the issue.
Giant Arknights Event expectation: Surely this will explain the entire lore of this part. Giant Arknights Event reality: Possibly setting up a civil war with even more lore. More possible Operators (Monique, Candleknight, Bloodknight, Tolar, Mylnar and Shining Alter) to expect. Who is Darksteel and would she be Waifu material? And why does idiot assassin Flatinum go into melee range all the time?
Doubtful about Monique and Bloodknight. Monique, alongside Roy, are busy caring to do their job and fulfilling whatever ambition they have on hand. And Blood Knight is not only retired from combat, but his Oripathy has also reached a very advanced stage due to constant use of his blood arts. And for the icing in the cake Roy may have plans to murder him. Darksteel is the highest rank within the Armorless Union, and one of them, a male, is the founder of it. And Flatinum probably didn't want to go melee, but rather was forced to due to circumstances
Thanks so much for this lore vid. I love the kazimerez lore but oh my god do I hate having to spend 10+ minutes at a time reading just so I can play a 1 minute mission. Not to mention another 10 minutes for the outro lore. This game has a really interesting story but it’s useless to me if it’s told so cryptically and throughout a ton of really long lore dumps, so having videos like this is so helpful. I actually really like this story. It asks good questions regarding the flaws of the extremes of materialism and idealism. While it is wreathed in the usual buzzwords, the underlying conflict of the physical and metaphysical, and why neither can work on its own solely, is conveyed quite well.
Flatinum was so epic failed on every mission in this story. But I guess her seeing Doktah completely unfazed with her assassination attempt really make a deep impression on her, to the point the she comes to work with RI after quit being assassin. (And then falling in love with Doktah, no less)
It's a wonder Platinum didn't leave the Armorless Union sooner. Literally everything that went wrong was someone else's fault and she somehow got blamed for all of it, sometimes even by the people whose fault it actually was.
@@electrickelpish There are a few other factions in Kazimierz, one of which is even MORE powerful than the Armorless Union. She couldn't join ONE of them? I mean she left them to join Rhodes.

Remember that a single Darksteel attack required both Nearl and Shinning to stop it, and Roy gave them both an advantage by putting them in the right position if not then Liz would have been killed. Nothing in Kazimierz except maybe the Silverlances is protecting Platinum from being assassinated for leaving AU. And the Silverlances have no reason to do so.
@@WeatherRein I would argue that someone with insider knowledge of the AU operations and dealings would be EXTREMELY valuable to the Silverlances...or really anyone in Kazimierz to be honest. Anyone looking to stir up trouble (everyone involved with underbelly of the knight competitions) would want the kind of intel Platinum could provide on the Armorless Union, especially those trying to make headlines.
Each sequel event from previous one they always tease new character and even possible alter, makes me wonder when even Wei Yenwu and Fumizuki will be playable and I doubt CN will make both of them playable until or maybe after their 4th AK anniversary.
Bro the silver lance are such Giga chads. Platinum and her squad were but pawns amongst titan fortresses and that scene was so epic. Just imagining them not lending a single care to the armorless gave me chills.
I just loved this hell of story it was epic and so cool and I just love how they can make you cry over a NPC death like it is a main shonen character and yes I really was satisfied with how flatinum got bullied by literally everyone and deserved it + I cut the bullet by swordsman ship learned from shinning
Why did Platinum get a call from the KGCC to abort her mission on killing the Dokutah but Monique still have to do that anyway? Since they both got their orders from the General Chamber, they shouldn't carry out contradictory missions.
That's pretty much the reason, the KGCC is greedy, corrupted and divided Rhodes got the favor from some of them but it wouldn't stop them completly however that would brew more conflict inside it letting RI operate while the KGCC is busy with itself.
Thank god i don't have to read the long ass story in the rerun event. Don't get me wrong i actually looking for this video because Im curious i like the story but i don't want to waste my time reading the whole story knowing it will just get cut and i have to continue the next stage to continue the story

That scene toward the end, where Margaret is helping Dikaiopolis to the champions' hall, that was amazing. All the villainous elements coming to stop them, regardless of who sees them, and all the others coming to defend the pair... I got goosebumps reading that!
I loved this event for many reasons : Flatinium getting bullied, Doctor being a chad, Monique triggered because she gets interrupted every single time, Roy being Roy, Toland being Toland
NL is definitely one of my fav bcs of how long it is ngl, this lenght should be the standard for most event/main. it also one of my fav storytelling bcs it tells so much at the same time, huge reality slap that shows "you are not the only char in this story".
even Margaret didn't have all the spotlight, nor Sona or Platinum. we can even argue how Doc is probably more important in this event than most even if he only does stuff in the bg.
and that's life, you are seldomly the mc and if you are it's hardly matters. NL also shows how grey this "Evil" that Margaret trying to fight, KGCC brought Kazimierz into a powerful economy house like Lungmen and Dossoles, money from those can fuel any war against Ursus with ease. but they're not good either. it's impossible to brand them evil or good in the first place, they're there to fulfill the demands and to push further the economic prospects which EVERY nation with a right mind should do.
and the fact that this story ends with not such a decisive result, Margaret and her ideals must and still takes years or decades before the Honor is back in Kazimierz, it's a one time things where hero cane back and everyone changes in an instant like stupid in some story, a change need times and AK shows that very well.
all in all i would read this story again and again, so many details and i think in the future it'll probably be more relevant. and without and disrespect, no TLDR or summary is enough to convey the whole tones and moods NL has, like most of recent event in AK (ITW, GA, SN)
I think that's a pessimistic view with the "you are not the mc" lol. Optimistic way of seeing it is "you are the main character of your own story" and that applies to many of the characters in NL
@@podled942 that's realistic, my approach to that is how MC usually the one whose choice and path matter the most, but on NL everyone matter or didn't matter at the same time. the big player of KGCC still exist (the Columbian reporter), Adeptus isn't a single body with single voices, the highest of the knights nobles still hold much power and Doctor played them all in the bg. Margaret was center of the attention for the ppl of Kazimierz but for us the reader she doesn't have the absolute or even majority of the spotlight
Yes, and this is one aspect that I like about AK story. So realistic like in our real life, yet sometimes it's a fantasy nonetheless. And the other, you can't do anything and everything overnight, and the world doesn't revolve around you.

A digestible version of more than 5k worth of words presented in entertaining way is a treasure to this community,
especially to those who got bored very easily with walls of texts.
The thing that certains here is that Mlynar is so a tsundere for an uncle. He said that he didn't want to meddle with Nearl sisters' ambition. But helped them multiple times nonetheless, of course, in a tsundere ways. Mlynar doesn't realize that he is middle aged person, does he? lol
I keep seeing people say that he doesn't care foe them like dude, he raised them himself when their parents disappeared and stuff, even going behind the scenes to protect them
Its just he's so discouraged by Kazimierz ever since the disappearance of Maria's and Margaret's parents that he became realistic, and of course imagine seeing one of your relatives joining a fight that they could not get out alive, of course I would be pissed too.
But the ending got me thinking that he might've revived some of his idealism that he once lost after seeing the entire fiasco that happened, and went out not only to search for the parent's whereabouts, but also himself in the process, which is good and healthy for him, tbh.
Overall, I see him as a uncle who gives "tough" love that deeply cares.

After reading about the Armorless Union only being good at assassinating someone but lacks when it comes to fight head-on, It makes me want to see Schwarz, being one of the most dangerous assassins in Terra, tries to take down the entire Armorless Union. She was trained by a clan but betrayed and destroyed them when she was 12(?), has 20 years of combat experience, & she is like John Wick because according to her files, she can use anything as a weapon. Schwarz 1v2 the Lazurites sounds epic to see.
14:57 The way I understood it was that Viviana (contrary to Nearl) doesn't use light arts, but precisely uses darkness arts, that come from the shadows that her candle shows. But Nearl's light was so bright that it overpowered that, so this match was mostly decided by arts ability.
Loved how you say Platinum once the first time, then switch to Flatinum(her true title) for the rest of it. XD

I wouldn't say fighting capitalism, just fighting an extreme version of it, similarly to the main plot where it's all about fighting opposite extremes (reunion/ursus army) that end up being equally dangerous, after all Rhodes island has Closure and is a private company

Doubtful about Monique and Bloodknight. Monique, alongside Roy, are busy caring to do their job and fulfilling whatever ambition they have on hand. And Blood Knight is not only retired from combat, but his Oripathy has also reached a very advanced stage due to constant use of his blood arts. And for the icing in the cake Roy may have plans to murder him.
Darksteel is the highest rank within the Armorless Union, and one of them, a male, is the founder of it.
And Flatinum probably didn't want to go melee, but rather was forced to due to circumstances
Thanks so much for this lore vid. I love the kazimerez lore but oh my god do I hate having to spend 10+ minutes at a time reading just so I can play a 1 minute mission. Not to mention another 10 minutes for the outro lore. This game has a really interesting story but it’s useless to me if it’s told so cryptically and throughout a ton of really long lore dumps, so having videos like this is so helpful. I actually really like this story. It asks good questions regarding the flaws of the extremes of materialism and idealism. While it is wreathed in the usual buzzwords, the underlying conflict of the physical and metaphysical, and why neither can work on its own solely, is conveyed quite well.
That Platinum with three knights as a meme, that made me laugh :D
Flatinum was so epic failed on every mission in this story. But I guess her seeing Doktah completely unfazed with her assassination attempt really make a deep impression on her, to the point the she comes to work with RI after quit being assassin. (And then falling in love with Doktah, no less)
Well, we allknow who Doctor is. If it's just a single unit attacking, he can just eat it and still win xD
It's a wonder Platinum didn't leave the Armorless Union sooner. Literally everything that went wrong was someone else's fault and she somehow got blamed for all of it, sometimes even by the people whose fault it actually was.
Pretty sure leaving the union meant death, since she carried sensitive information as the middle manager

Remember that a single Darksteel attack required both Nearl and Shinning to stop it, and Roy gave them both an advantage by putting them in the right position if not then Liz would have been killed.
Nothing in Kazimierz except maybe the Silverlances is protecting Platinum from being assassinated for leaving AU. And the Silverlances have no reason to do so.
@@WeatherRein I would argue that someone with insider knowledge of the AU operations and dealings would be EXTREMELY valuable to the Silverlances...or really anyone in Kazimierz to be honest. Anyone looking to stir up trouble (everyone involved with underbelly of the knight competitions) would want the kind of intel Platinum could provide on the Armorless Union, especially those trying to make headlines.

Each sequel event from previous one they always tease new character and even possible alter, makes me wonder when even Wei Yenwu and Fumizuki will be playable and I doubt CN will make both of them playable until or maybe after their 4th AK anniversary.

Why did Platinum get a call from the KGCC to abort her mission on killing the Dokutah but Monique still have to do that anyway? Since they both got their orders from the General Chamber, they shouldn't carry out contradictory missions.
That's pretty much the reason, the KGCC is greedy, corrupted and divided Rhodes got the favor from some of them but it wouldn't stop them completly however that would brew more conflict inside it letting RI operate while the KGCC is busy with itself.
