This brings in millions for the community it’s only 4 days chill out
still shouldnt take the tickets away from them
@@Deathshealer The residents screwed that up for themselves. Not all of them but a good number of them. I could explain how, but I doubt anybody really wants to know. Just know that it definitely wasn't greed or spite.
@@TheOriginalDiscoPimpI wanna know.
@@Ghost_Hardwar3 Read all the comments. I explain it down post
@@TheOriginalDiscoPimpgreed no spite definitely the forest cost double now because ef wooks can't take there car off the camp ground
They changed it because people were requesting multiple extra tickets and many were just selling them and not even going - so it’s kinda the community’s fault for abusing the program. The festival has no obligation to give out free tickets. They did it to be kind and got taken advantage of. The comment about ems not being able to get them or them not being able to leave is lies. Traffic? Yes. On house arrest? Far stretch lol
Right!!! Those neighbor tickets are explicitly for day pass only! When they sell their neighbor passes to a festival goer, that person is planning on camping there, only they have no camping site assigned to them because their band doesn't include it. So the organizers end up having thousands of people sleeping in god knows where like the homeless because they have nowhere to go. it causes problems all around. And yes, people with 2-3 people in the household were claiming 10, 15, even 20 eligible people in the home to get free bands to sell.
It should just be a standard per house you get 5 all-weekend passes. Keep it simple and fair for anyone who lives here.
Just a bunch of grumpy old Karen’s lying through their teeth lol. This creates the only money coming to the community. Chill 🙄
they still deserve the full ticket. its their front yard
@@Deathshealer but still not their property. If I did it on my ranch no one would be getting a free ticket because of where they live.
That's the wrong attitude to have.
All you do is BUY a ticket and attend.. you aren't the resident. 😊
@@Deathshealer Deserve? They would still be getting them had they not taken full advantage of the situation and created problems for festival organizers. No, They lost the privilege for themselves.
You have zero clue what you are talking about. The promoters should be paying these people for the inconvenience in addition to free tickets for the whole fest.
You’re going to be the grumpiest Kevin when you are older
Only the old people are complaining lol chill out
I'd complain if they got rid of a free weekend pass for a single day. I'd never live here, but I understand how this disrupts their way of life for a week; once a year. A few weekend passes helps alleviate this stress whether they go or just sell the tickets.
It is fucked up that they messed with the community ticket system. Theres only like 500 people who live in Rothbury. Every one of them should get free access to the festival.
agree fully
They do get free access, on sunday. It's not like they were going anyways. They were selling them for top dollar.
Church! We need to let EF know that this is BS and we aren't going if they don't take care of the community. The magic in EF lies with it being a festival outlier by not simply chasing profits. Lately, they seem to be capitalizing profits and it's ruining this fest!
@@TheOriginalDiscoPimp So what if they sell them? It helps smooth things out with the community and costs the organizers nothing.
Hard agree. We need to let the organizers know if they don't take care of the local community we aren't in. It's really starting to show that they are trying to capitalize profits and it's ruining this festival.
it's all about the benjamins baby
