Good to see a nice variety of cars and not just Mustangs. Really enjoy seeing the Ferrari again. Apart from the guy that doesn’t know how to race but still good content! I think you, George, Vale, Samir, Aiden and Maciej should set up an esports team….you guys are all great together on the streams. At this point, a lot of these teams need the drivers and the streamers more than you need them. Nothing bad meant by that but you guys are the talent, the IP….would be great to see you create something like that.
Just because you use a different pit strategy and have "your own race" doesn't mean you can impede the leaders. Thats the risk of taking an alternate strategy.
That same logic applies to guys who choose to do lap 1 pitting or early pitting. Just because you are on an alternate strategy you cannot expect people to jump out of your way to let you pass. ITS THE RISK OF AN ALTERNATE STRATEGY. Oh how the turntables.
Btw we pitted after half of the race together with other 50+ cars that lap. “Alternate strategy” was the slower car ahead who was doing later pit from p45. If you watch video nobody said once to jump from our way. We dont expect you to. It was very safe several times to let people pass without any “force”. Im twice example, audi in righthander corner as well where ferrari opened door but then decided to fight for whole next part until he let audi go. No need to hate we didnt hate and i didnt hate and i took responsibility several times even when driver made error and took me out.
@@Jardier You have a lot of people that follow you mate. I think it was a bit of a bad example to be so aggressive when trying to overtake that driver. Like yeah, at the end of the video you **sort of** take part of the responsibility which I guess is good, but my point is that in this case it was probably 90% on you and 10% on the other driver. The rules are there for a reason. As long as a car is not blue flagged they don't really have an obligation to let you by. I understand you wanted to not lose time, but you tried to overtake him in corners where normally you don't do overtakes... From everything I see, this guy was panicking a bit and as you said, not sure what you do - if you see the driver in front is stressed, I don't think its the right call to double down on being aggressive, because for sure this will not have a happy ending. Just my opinion mate. Shit happens, but as I said, considering how many people follow you I think it's important to set a good example of how to behave in these situations. There's too much aggressive driving in ACC causing crashes because a lot of people don't respect that everyone is allowed to drive their own race, regardless of pace. There's some tracks where overtaking is just very difficult, and as much as it's an inconvenience sometimes we gotta bite the bullet (just think of F1 Monaco races).
@@Jardier PS: I also agree that drivers who have not pit should allow cars that HAVE done their pitstop by, because it's *almost* like being lapped (*IF* there is a big pace difference). That being said, it's not contemplated within the rules and we have to respect that. It purely comes down to goodwill and sportsmanship if someone wants to let you by. However it also comes down to awareness, so if it's a novice driver he was probably using 100% of his neurons just to stay alive on Nords. It's easy for an experienced driver to know where and how to allow a pass safely, less so for a newbie. From what I saw the dude was doing his best to let cars by, he just wasn't doing it where/how you were expecting it.
@RageMonkeyGaming I wont change who im to be nicer to someone who is wrong though. I was WAY too nice defending the other driver and "lowering" the sadness of what happened. If the battle was for actual position, he is the one getting penalty, he was the car who took me out. It is simple as that... Me putting it down so its not that bad and calming chat is just me being nice.
For me mate, all of the contact with 'backmarker' are on you. Too impatient. You're right, he evidently doesn't have much experience, but he also evidently tries to let you all go.
You're right. Jards and the lambo and audi should've slowed down and done a 10sec slower lap and lost pace with 2nd and 3rd so that ferrari could fight for 45th place. Totally selfish. 🤦
I hate when people fight when theyre on a different race. So frustrating. You handled is SO MUCH better than i would have lmao

I cannot understand how jards keep so calm in these situations, i got angry just for watching this
Then learn to control your emotions and move past the incident, getting angry doesnt change the past
which monitor size do you use?
Currently 34 ultrawide but soon getting 49 ultrawide :)
@ thanks buddy. Good luck with racing!!! We support you.

Totally reasonable, in fact you held your cool very well. Maynardo was being an idiot, you can't be not aware of the situation he was in.
that guy is an idiot for getting in your guy's way.
that lfm stewards are a joke
