I literally never work out, I just try to do everyday stuff with a good range of motion/form to keep my body capable of easily doing things I do regularly. All of these tips still apply. You often give advice that is relevant even for someone like me, who never does a "proper workout" 👍
Before people could work out, they worked. Both activities require good form. Farmers are often jacked. Construction workers are often jacked. They don't have time for a proper workout. That time goes to their work. Have a beautiful day.
I'm 32 and I look like a tired and stooped sausage.Thank you very much for the positive emotions, from time to time I remember push-ups and general body mobility. We need to overcome laziness and move forward to a flexible body🔥💕
Do I hear negative self talk?👂🤨 It’s not that you’re lazy. We know what’s good for us, like sleep, exercise, good food etc. We just get in our own way a lotta the time, treating ourselves in a way like we’re somehow unworthy of progress. It’s normal to sometimes associate things that are actually good for us in a way that makes them seem uncomfortable or even painful. We’re such strange creatures sometimes 😁. Animals don’t have to worry about that. They just do what they do. Us humans though? Our consciousness can be so debilitating at times. We all do it at one point or another. It’s too oversimplified to just say we’re lazy.
This is literally the only workout channel I've found that is friendly to my body type (mobility issues), and doesn't put me to sleep (guess I've found a use for them after all 😅). Thanks for helping me to keep moving!
Have always loved your approach. I struggle sometimes with core diet that shifts when I’m travelling or around other people and seem to find myself eating more stuff I generally avoid like excess dairy and bread. I would love if you did more videos on your diet and how you relate to food. Thanks Hampton you’re doing a great job!
I enjoy your sincerity and kindness. You are a very refreshing influencer. Just simply pointing out things that are purely of benefit. I love it!!! Keep up the good stuff... dont forget to sleep on it 😃
in 2021 i did pull ups for months almost every single day. i was able to do 5 with no progress during these months. but once i got rest even for 1 day, it increased do 8. maybe if i tried to rest earlier and much often i could be better at pull ups
...and good rest helps us make better decisions in every aspect of our lives, so if I have to choose between sleeping well and either working out more or having more time for cooking then I choose sleep. What surprises me, though, is that even when I choose sleep and cannot fall to sleep the rest I get still refreshes my mind a bit. I presume that that's because my mind is processing what I've already done so far that day so I'm not carrying that around as unprocessed info. Thank you, bro, for another life-enriching post!
Watching your videos have given me the motivation to quit smoking, get back on a bike, and physically get myself together. Diet is next in my sights but I'm terrified of failing that one to domino the rest of my progress lol. Keep it up man, thank you!
Thank you, You! I was contemplating about my choice of taking a break from work and go COMPLETE Send mode in adjusting my sleep and food cycles. This did it.
I use the same singing example backwards! I'm a vocal coach, and being able to sing high notes will depend on training the vocal muscles without activating the swallowing muscles, which is pretty common when we get tired and feel our voices shake or we lose control over it. So, I use a lifting example to help people get this. Singers also benefit a lot by making neck muscles more relaxed, stretchy and mobile, but that's not often covered on vocal coaching as it should. Thanks for your content!
i have been trying to achieve my first pull up after watching your 'you can also do a pull up' video, i have been diligently and consistently practicing with resistance band and rings doing all the basic pulling exercises, but i saw no progress, last week i was down sick with cold and fever, did not work out for like 10 days, i though i had completely lost all my strength, but to my surprise i gained extra ordinary levels up power completing my first pull up today. I actually had to get nasal surgery to improve my sleep quality because my snoring was jolting me awake at night.
Also, when at the gym, it's good to make "power sounds" to help exert yourself. That's why I scream on treadmills.
I scream in the locker room while rubbing one out so ig…tit for tat right
