To get a golden token of friendship you gotta clear the crimson wilderness (that one zone that you got to with the lucy and azar run) and interact with the characters to give them red outline, and then you gotta talk to the characters in the zone before the azar fight to get the golden token (you need to be lv 3 friendship)

Silverstein's special bullets thing is so weird. You'd think it's a buff for the battle so you'd get some funny scaling bullets, but no. The special bullets are not tied to Silverstein... but to his mark debuff (if you hover the debuff, it'll show any special bullet loaded). When you get the second attack in and pop the mark, the bullets get the special effects then it resets completely. I don't recall it interacts with the rare skills or quick shot, I haven't played him enough for that, but I recall being very underwhelmed.
Daaamn that sucks big time then. I’ll have to test those mechanics out some more since I’m still a bit confused ^^
Outstanding work man....freaking first try on Azar and Master. Good luck on getting the rest of the member's their gold tokens and going for true ending. Totally undertsand if you don't wanna after all this though! GG
Just got to the end of the video (I did some skipping around)- You can unlock the golden token of friendship (and the red tokens) from free play. You get the red tokens from going through the Crimson Wilderness. Then you get the golden token when you bring a character to the Azar fight route instead of Clyne. Also, make sure you have their friendship gauge filled if you're trying to get someone's golden token, or it doesn't work.
first you go to cw which you got red token if you have 3 token of friendship. then before your battle with azur you got the gold token for them. by beating the game with 1 gold token member you got the other ending. but for true ending you need all the gold token in all members except azur .then you get true ending which could take a lot of run since you need to reach azur with all operators and even beat them for twin .

@@krowzLite It's not really a True ending. It's like an Epilogue. As long as you get golden token, you get the True ending. You only get the Epilogue after getting all the Gold Token

I am absolutely floored that you made it all the way here without a single run loss! Leryn + the draw orb is such an insane combo, isn't it? 5 and half hr video, but tbf probably 40% of that was cutscenes, so it does feel like you're playing faster now.
The other comments have explained the golden friendship tokens, but to answer your questions about the endings (spoilers):
There are 2 endings. The first is the one you just saw. The second, is when you pick the other choice when the game asks you if you want to accept the program master's new world (@ 5:12:37). The other choice is unlocked by having party members with golden friendship tokens in the run.
If you do another story mode run with the intention of getting the second ending, you can skip all the cutscenes up till the point where you're offered the choice, because everything before that will be the same. (You'd wanna save your voice anyway because there's EVEN MORE READING TO DO in the second ending, lol.)
The "3rd ending" some people have mentioned is probably the epilogue. You can view the epilogue by getting golden friendship tokens on every single character (besides azar), and then finishing the 2nd ending in story mode.
If I'm not wrong, golden friendship tokens must be collected during story mode runs, or they won't stick. But if you're just collecting gold tokens you can just skip all the cutscenes in story mode, and there should be no difference anyway (aside from not being able to use azar and pheonix).
On the last note, Golden friendship tokens does not need to be collected during Story Mode runs
Their Last Conversation will be unlocked upon defeating the program master in free play
This is true for all characters except for Azar, Phoenix, and Helia & Selena
Helia & Selena has to be done thru Story mode because of who they are, Phoenix obv as well, and Azar... can't
So you can safely do everyone else in free play, and just boot up one extra story mode run starting with the twins
1:11:06 Eve's bonus attack actually took away the second stack of armor reduction. You can see the tooltip of your basic Attack dealing 18 damage, enemy has -42% armor so 18 * 1.42 = 25.
Teleport scrolls can tp you into the hidden tile, revealing it without having to guess with a Lifting scroll. Very rare though from my experience.
Fountain of Wishes is just RNG, it always gives you 3 out of ~10? possible options. So there's no guaranteed way to get Accelerate+

Because it is a one turn kill combo card with Dragon Curve. Möbius strip draws until you have 4 skills in hand and Dragon Curve discards skills until you have 3 skills in hand.
If there is no deck shuffle limit with blood mist, it can kill everything in 1 turn. Even in blood mist, you can extends the buff's turns with Iron Heart.
Probably because you keep beating these runs too quickly you never really got to finish the hedgehog sidequest. The hedgehog is the in-game method to learn about the vending machines and accessing the Crimson Wilderness.
To get a golden token of friendship, you must visit the archive in Crimson Wilderness and have level 3 friendship and talk to them after fighting Azar. (Except the twins need to be in story mode and talk to them after wining program master.)
In order to go to Crimson Wilderness, you must complete the quest line of Sir Dorchi.
Starting on your next run, there will be a new object at Misty Garden 2. If you select that object, you will fight a new boss. After beating that boss, you will be told how to go to Crimson Wilderness at the camp after Bloody Park 1.
There will be 2 ways to visit archive:
1. The hard route is following all the steps to go to Crimson Wilderness which skips Bloody Park 2.
2. The easy route is paying fee to shortcut to the archive only which does not skip Bloody Park 2.

Took me 70 tries just to REACH Azar (insisting on BM4 CW but still) even after researching team comps and becoming intimately familiar with all the mechanics. Then here you are first trying him with Hein of all characters. I kneel.

amazing you take longer but is worth since most (or well all) of your runs are successful, I took less yes but it took me like 3 parties to get a good one that could beat Azar. Also, we have to protect Lucy!! get the real ending :)
What you mention in the end is basically what the *free* mode is for, while you get friendships to golden. Yes you can in free mode and I think other ppl already said how to get the golden friendship
Bunny on Leyrin is fine - it's just card values are not updated until you reopen the screen. Her shields scale on Healing power. (Oh, you found out later XD)
Also you have a decent synergy here as Leyrin aside from being a powerful card engine is a good at HGP. so Hein can do his berserk stuff without fearing loosing health as much
For crimson wilderness you had to find a hatch on map 3. but you went into the boss right after putting stones into vending machine. (Sorry if it sounds like backseating, just commenting on what i see.)
lol at double orbs at the end. and yea Leyrin crafting is good for carrying an orb from playthrough to playthrough.
as for story
You need characters with maxed friendship. for different ending. iirc at least one, but don't quote me on this, i had them mostly prepared by the time ful release dropped. As for max friendsip you need 3 petals + visit archives in crimson wilderness with them + talk with them before Azar fight. Hedgehog quest continues to the Forgotten King Area. if you finish it you will get an option to bypass wilderness battles and go straight to archive.

@@krowzLite it's on the 3rd map. dunno how it works right now. In older versions you needed 2 keys and a lifting scroll. then they Nerfed requirement to 1 key. i am not sure if you still need a lifting scroll to access it or not (before you had to find a location with sound of wind and use a lifting scroll to reveal the hatch and then use key to open the hatch.)
Damn, you are good, beating Azar on the first try. In 5h20 mins run, is your voice okay? LOL. Azar fight is way harder than the Master, he has so many mechanic. The Master fight is mostly a DPS race, to see if you can consistently break his stance or not.
There is some note on the run:
1. There are only Secret hex starting from map 2, so don't use Lifting scroll in the first location.
2. To unlock the Crimson Wilderness: there are 2 vending machine con map 2 and 3. After you use both, the hatch spawned. You need go near the hex with a windy sound effect, use a Lifting Scroll, and 2? Keys for the first time. Take that item and go north at the immediate camp fire.
3. You missed the Shop just before the Azar fight. The scarecrow guy is the shop.
4. You can unlock relationship with Free mode. When I play, I do a much of Free mode, and google the right gift for each Investigator to save time.
I love to play C.ark and watch you play Chrono Ark. On the other hand, Zed Zillion lack a lot of balancing and polished, The combine effects of the cards is surprisingly shallow, most combination just give you the same thing. It feel like a cheap gimmick.
I really have to get more better at card games.
