Many years ago, I worked in a US Army Burn Unit for about 6 weeks as an Anesthesiologist. Operating Rooms at 99 degrees. I saw terrible horrifying things from military and, mostly civilian, severe burns. I would pick any other way to die than burning to death. Young healthy burn patients may spend up to a year there to survive. Given a choice between loud White Noise via ear phones or Incredibly strong pain medications for daily, routine, wound care bandage changes? About 50% would pick the White Noise. This song. Incredibly loud and on a continuous repeat is what I would have picked when I was younger. I'm too old to survive any significant % of burns today. But I'd still want to listen to this song, incredibly loud, on a continuous loop. I'd like to watch Bilinda Butcher dancing, too.

This band has been an integral part of my life for over a decade now. Fell in love with them after listening to Isn't Anything when I was 15, and I'm 26 now. Seeing the news that they're gonna be re-releasing their material digitally and physically, signed to Domino Records, and possibly even record a new album, has my heart soaring and crying with joy. This band means so much to me, as I'm sure it does to millions around the world.

@@ParkerSchmid01 They apparently have been working on stuff for years. First, it was meant to be an album, then Kevin said something about maybe releasing 2 EPs. Hard to say what will be released.

This song always sounds new, due to its avant-garde and sound quality. in addition to the style that characterizes them so much. It is a song that will never go out of style and always sound truly authentic. My favorite! Hopefully in the future MBV can get together again and come to Mexico.

I saw terrible horrifying things from military and, mostly civilian, severe burns. I would pick any other way to die than burning to death. Young healthy burn patients may spend up to a year there to survive.
Given a choice between loud White Noise via ear phones or Incredibly strong pain medications for daily, routine, wound care bandage changes? About 50% would pick the White Noise.

I'm too old to survive any significant % of burns today.
