Yeah! This is actually a song intended for my (Kate) future solo album. But Emilee and I have played it together so many times that we couldn't help ourselves. I'm so glad we played it at that show, because who knows when we'll be able to perform live again.

Kate, when you make your own album, are you going to post the songs on this channel or another one? Do you already have your own UA-cam channel and/or Instagram account? If any/all of your band members have either or both of those of their own, I’d love to get the usernames and support them!
One last question, when are you planning on releasing your solo album, and are any of the other band members doing their own solo album as well, and are they going to be featured in your album at all? (Okay, maybe that was more of three questions in one, haha!)
Sorry for asking so many questions, but I’m so interested in anything you guys put out! I’d be SO down to watch a behind the scenes video about the music you make, or maybe even a video about your experience touring and/or about performing! I’d especially love love LOVE to learn more about the meanings and stories behind all of your songs, especially “New Discovery,” as it’s my favorite song! I love making my own interpretations for the songs as well, as I think music can be an incredibly personal thing, even
just listening to it!
I learn as many of your guys’ songs on guitar and ukulele that I can, and I one day hope to post my own covers of your songs and to post and make my own music! Not to produce it by any means, but to share it with the world. You guys inspire me so much, and the Crane Wives are by far my favorite band! Your music is absolutely magical, ethereal, and so, so incredibly immersive and inspiring. It’s a whole entire experience listening to it! Honestly, most of the music I listen to is you guys, occasionally I just your band put on shuffle on Spotify for up to a few hours at a time.
