- On June 19th, MEGADETH played at Hellfest, one of the biggest summer festivals in Europe, held in Clisson - France.
I decided to record and show you a little bit of this journey and how everything happens behind the scenes, including our travel, interviews to the press, warm ups, our relationship with each other and other bands at the festival, the concert itself and much more.
I hope you all enjoy and share the video with your friends.

No dia 19 de junho o Megadeth tocou em um dos maiores festivais de verão da Europa, o Hellfest, que acontece em Clisson, na França.
Decidi então mostrar a vocês um pouco dessa viagem e como tudo acontece nos bastidores, nossas viagens, as entrevistas para a imprensa, o relacionamento entre os membros da banda e também com as outras bandas do festival e, nossos momentos de turista e, é claro, toda a preparação para o espetáculo em cima do palco e o show em si.

How can you not love this guy? Just clean. So well spoken. So nice and happy. Not all faded or spun out. Great dad. Just a great musician. Every young guitarist should look up to this man.

Kiko brings a lot of (and much needed) energy to the Megadeth shows. I've seen Megadeth shows and prior to Kiko, they all seemed to just stand there and bob their heads now and then. Looks like Kiko's energy is spreading to the other guys. He makes me want to see Megadeth again!

Dave would be crazy to get rid of Kiko. As much as I love Chris Poland and Marty Friedman, Kiko is my favorite guitar player other than Dave Mustaine for Megadeth. This current lineup is PERFECT and I hope that it is the final lineup for Megadeth.

Thanks for these great images. It was the first time for us playing at Hellfest (or even outside of our home country) and to see all of it again in such a great video and from your perspective is amazing. Its crazy to think that we were able to see all of that too. From the busses to the main stages it felt like trip to a theme park. There were so many new experiences and impressions and three days just went by so quick.
I'll save the link to your video somewhere because I will surely come back to see it again!

I really mean it, i've seen all their guitarists during their individual tenures with the band, and you remind me a ton of the early days with Poland and Friedman. Innovative, fresh and still makes the band sound like it used to, which is such a refreshing new thing with Megadeth. There couldn't be anyone else who could pull this off, but you did :)

Kiko...deixa eu dar uma achega, porque por vezes, nós (autores de... ) não conseguimos ter o ponto de vista e de analise exterior.
Tenho 40 anos.
A minha vida já passou por determinadas histórias e experiências boas e más...faz parte da história de qualquer um.
Como eu gostaria de ter, recordações gravadas daquilo que passei...não que não tivesse uma Maquina Fotográfica ou uma câmera de vídeo...apenas porque achei na altura que determinado momento, não seria importante...mas como me enganei...FOI IMPORTANTE.
Por isso, aquilo que você está a fazer (estas Gravações ) até poderá não dar a devida importância ou mesmo não consiga ver o alcance um dia mais tarde de tudo isto....mas talvez fará toda a diferença.
Um dia mais tarde, talvez quando você tiver uns 60, 70 anos, a vida poderá inscrever você como uma das grandes lendas da musica Brasileira (já o é...mas talvez será ainda mais ) e haverá todo um espólio de teus fãns, quer para consulta, quer para teu acervo pessoal familiar.
Por isso, grave tudo.... coloque á data e hora do momento (recordará melhor mais tarde ) mesmo o que lhe pareça desnecessário....Os Grandes momentos, nós sempre gravamos mas os recorrentes por vezes não nos parecem tão importantes assim e um dia mais tarde quando você for analisar todos esses vídeos...esses serão os de maior importância pessoal e os que o publico não saberá e os que irão mexer mais com as tuas recordações.
Por isso, construa o seu acervo pessoal (não quer dizer que publique tudo ) pois, talvez um dia valha uma autentica fortuna para seus filhos e uma tábua de salvação para eles...pois registra a história de um ídolo da musica.
