I moved to Palmdale, and been looking for local gardeners inspiration. When we got the house, our backyard was bare sand. I've installed raised beds a planted a pear and grapefuits. Hopefully we'll have fruits someday🍇🍐

Im in Hesperia and I’ve been trying to find a loquat tree at a nursery (I’m impatient) but I think I’ll just try planting some seeds and waiting 6 years for fruit lol.
I just started my garden; I’m in an apt so everything has to be in pots. Im hoping they grow well!

There are hundreds of native bee species (honey bees aren't native) that will pollinate your fruit trees. Some are smaller than a housefly so they may have gone unnoticed.

Love seeing your videos, they were missed. This is my second year gardening in Lancaster too! I saw your video of the chipilin plant and I’m trying that this year along with loroco. I’ve got citrus trees and a grape vine for the first year too! Im so excited and definitely get inspiration from other gardeners from the AV.

@@MyHighDesertGarden i have extra chipilin seeds and a few seedlings, I germinated too many. A good problem to have. I also have extra loroco seeds, although I’m struggling to germinate them. Maybe you have better luck. I’m more than happy to share my seeds!

I heard that when your carrots have too much foliage you can cut them back ( leave some, like a good 4 inches) and it’ll redirect the energy to develop the root. I tried for my kurdo novas a day or two after the full moon and they are out performing my Autumn King and Pusa Asitas.
