      I'll let you know towards the end of the year, it wouldn't be a good idea to transplant them right now anyway, thanks for your comment, happy gardening!!

    Love watching your videos! I have learned so much from your channel. I’m in California, zone 9a. I have 25 indeterminate tomato plants. Out of those, one has curled leaves, it’s a Cherokee Purple. I don’t know how to fix it. It’s just beginning to set it’s fruit. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so much.

      I have the same problem with my Cherokee purple this year, it may be normal for that variety because it's not the first time I see that, they also don't produce that many fruit, that the reason I stopped growing them , I think the problem is that they don't like to be crowded and I also think that they don't like to be shaded.

      @@MyHighDesertGarden you may be correct about this Cherokee Purple. I have the tomato plants staked and pruned down to one main stem and maybe one other side shoot. They are all placed about 12 inches apart. Leaves are still curled and looks just terrible. If it did not have 7 tomatoes on it, I would pull it right out. I’m with you, I will not grow Cherokee Purple again. Thanks so much and absolutely love your channel.👩🏽‍🌾🍅🌱🍉🥒🫑🌶️🫛🧄🥔🧅

    4:12 This part confuses Me. Is there a particular reason why wouldn't you just collect fresh seeds from your newest harvest?
    3:27 AwHELLnaw!!!! Nice catch!! ....And that's a NIIIIICE setup for the yardlong beans.
    Nice idea to train your nectarine away from the dumpster. Ppl are disrespectful.
    22:77 I think it's a WONDERFUL, extremely practical & sustainable recycling job. NOT sloppy at all with all that flourishing greenery coming from it!
    R.I.P. to your favorite grapevine.

      Very nice of you, nice coment, and you're absolutely right, I will continue to collect new seeds from my Jimmy Nardelos, there is nothing wrong with the taste, size shape of the pepper 🌶 😀

    Strawberries are very heavy feeders and fruiting needs phosphorus and potassium. Compost would be good or a heavy last two # fertilizer.

      Thank you so much for your comment, I will definitely try that after they get transplanted into a different raised bed.

    Jimmy nardelos arent open pollinated? That's why u cant save seeds?

    • @MyHighDesertGarden
      @MyHighDesertGarden  Рік тому

      Yes, they are, I can save more seed this year if I wanted to and I'll still be getting more peppers in 2024, but I am choosing to buy fresh seed just because the ones I'm growing came from very old seeds, peppers still come out nice nonetheless 😊
