What can I say , just beautiful Patty !!! I have been watching your videos for years now, and I am always in awe of your gardens ! I love the fountains, bird feeders, bird baths, and how you have the plants organized ! You have done a fantastic job in creating a calming and uplifting garden. All those flowers and colors just put a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart. The calming music you choose to accompany the video is just right ! So looking forward to more videos🥰
Hmmm beautiful and maybe you should call it 3 sister's and a cousin! I love your garden I do most of my stuff in horse troughs. Any way take care and have a blessed week ahead. Also I had issues with with my plumb tree. I am on a 2nd one and it might go this summer.
I’d like to know what direction of your foxgloves and hollyhocks are located? South? Or West? I have some foxgloves and hollyhocks in the pots right now that I’ve been growing from seeds. And I only have some spots facing west in my backyard. Do you think it would work if I plant them on the ground ( facing west )? Thank you very much! Really enjoying watching your videos!
I have foxglove in several places in my garden. I think it depends on your zone and spring summer temperatures. In zone 9 mine are out of the direct afternoon sun. They do well here in dappled shade because we get so warm in late spring to summer.
Thank you for your advice! I m in zone 10a. I think I probably should avoid the west- facing because it gets strong direct sun in the afternoon. I just don’t know what kind of plants I should put in that spot. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks again! Really appreciate it!
I would definitely stick with hollyhocks and black eyed Susan’s and even dahlias would be lovely tall flowers that do well in the heat. I gardened for many years in zone 10. Perennial Salvias love the direct sun as well and they come in so many colors now.

I am so disappointed I won’t get plumbs this year. Is yours in the ground or a pot?
