4:12 to scale your masked letters you also have to change its stroke path from dot to lock+radius

I manage somehow to reproduce this. I really love your work man, and I can't wait for your courses to come. But my friend, I really really hope your tutorials will have better image quality and more explanation than this, because as a beginner... I had a lot of struggle to follow some parts. Btw thanks for the idea, this exercice teached me a lot!

The author holds back a bunch of details. Probably to better sell the courses. I don't recommend it for beginners.

You could try downloading them to your PC and then transferring them to your iPad.
