Oooooh! I have an idea!! It would be amazing to slice a 3D sculpture into planes with this wire art technique, then hang them so that they form the original 3D sculpture! That could yield museum grade artwork!
You should try smoothing a sculpture made by a 3D pen. And to not be redundant in using the 3D pen you should make something really colorful, at least more colorful than most of 3D printers with dual extruder can do.
Holy Moly!! These are amazing, truly amazing.i have no idea how you even came up with the idea, you sir are a genius...I love it and I hope Mrs McBeardface does as I am going to give this a go 👍👍 thank you
I want to buy a 3d printer and a 3d pen, what do you recommend that won't break the bank but still be good !!! I like art so I want to 3d print sculptures and draw characters with the 3d pen. What do you recommend ???
That is sooo great! It is very much in the style I use when doodling on paper. I just ordered a 3D pen based primarily on this video. Thank you for this and for all the many other great ideas that you share.
@@make.anything Wow! Now having tried doing this I see that it will take lots of practice and I suppose fiddling around with temp & speed. My lines are not nearly as smooth as yours and I have plenty of strings and globs to cut off.
I must say Devin that you have really done such a good job with your channel, I really look forward to watching any video you put up. It's only been about, well not even two weeks since I got my 3-D pen and I really appreciate all the tips and just watching you create stuff is awe inspiring, I still don't know how you get the lines so perfect and straight, I am praying this comes with practice, or I'm in trouble. Ha ha. Let me fit in one question: have you ever made a pinwheel?
Cool. Although 2D, the shadows give it some depth. I'm wondering how this would stand up over time in areas with no air-conditioning. (Of course, if your house got to the annealing temperature of PLA, I think you've got bigger troubles. But anyway...) Any suggestions on how to reinforce and support the piece? One idea is to make multiple mounting points that match the color of the wall. But how to adhere them to the piece and still make everything removal later is beyond me at the moment.
Cool art deco. I wonder if you made any of these into 3D printable files and as large traditionally printed art pieces? These would make nice additions to my art collection. How about trying to make a fractal with your funky filaments with your 3D pens, resin and filament 3D printers. But you know what would be cooler still? Life size versions of famous sci-fi creatures made from 3D pen printed parts.
Here's a challenge for you. Print something with a 3d printer, then try as best as you can to recreate that thing by hand with a 3d pen, layer by layer. Prove who is superior, man or machine.
I think the reason the filament worked so well is because the texture of the filament matches the texture of the wall. Also they are very close in tone because neither is too bright nor too dark, this makes me want a 3d pen
Any tips and I have almost the same pen but mine is made by smart gear I can not find it anymore. Thank god my dad bought when he did it was the last one
The color of the filament makes it look like it was drawn on the wall with a pencil. If that even makes sense. I love it and it makes me want to do something similar to this.

Sean Lumly I love this idea
This could be super cool, for sure!
I've seen artwork like that before. Here in Melb, Aust. I don't remember the artist though. It does look good.
Kieran Short , it was Devin.I am sure of it ☺
Looks kinda like a hanging henna tattoo, and has a zentangle vibe which I'm totally digging!
Fantastic work :D

that 3d print looks like it's made of clay. really nice
it looked like chocolate frostings for me
Nice man! I had no idea about using silicon mats with a 3DP pen. I’ve got a bunch and definitely do not use them enough
Uncle Jessy hey, you’re a person that I’ve seen before!
Holy Moly!! These are amazing, truly amazing.i have no idea how you even came up with the idea, you sir are a genius...I love it and I hope Mrs McBeardface does as I am going to give this a go 👍👍 thank you
You could sell these for a lot of money
Jacob Labovitz , Devin just increased value of the house. ☺
Michael S no he decreased it
1000 subs with no videos pls Lolwut
damn. this makes me want to buy a 3D pen..
Incredibly cool. I like how you make something actually pretty with a pen that most people just make plastic turds with.
Is the same way a pencil can draw something beautiful, or be used for filling a study book with "Cool S" or dicks. Often both.
I helped translate subtitles to Swedish, why haven't they been approved yet? :/
I would love to buy the silicone mat that you used, it just doesn't ship to Germany... :((
The 2nd piece is a 👌 masterpice, it looks steampunk, and i love it!
If there were an interior design show, where designers from other feilds compete to design a space, I think you could kick some serious butt!
I love 3D pen creations!
First you became a Bop It, now a 3D printer, next, a mass destruction machine.
I want to buy a 3d printer and a 3d pen, what do you recommend that won't break the bank but still be good !!!
I like art so I want to 3d print sculptures and draw characters with the 3d pen.
What do you recommend ???
Wow, looks amazing! Great job
How about adding panels of coloured gel film to the wall art?
Great video. Thanks for the inspiration.
!!Me gustó la idea!!
I have a 3dpen and I let my little sister use it alot and I just use all the little extras of filament and cut her pieces off my spools.
Flip to the back and add “risers”
Where hung there will be the benefit of shadows
I liked the idea and your comments while doing it.
did you hav any problems with the woodfill clogging the 3D pen nozzle?
Not at all.. it oozes more, but that's about it
Reminds me of Peter Draws
That's awesome, you got talent! Kinda makes me want to buy a 3d pen...
Looking forward to seeing someone transfer those designs into a cornfield! I wonder if aliens watch your channel? 😋
Mike Nightingale , aah. That's were I've seen this art! 👽

You are easily one of the best 3d print inspirations if not THE best on youtube.
Thanks Ian!
You’re really inspiring,
Thank you
This reminds me of Peter Draws
Now you're up to something...I was thinking the same. lol
04162020 Lesson worth sharing.
🤗Thanks Devin.🤗
its like tribed art but with new tech, i love it. For better circle you can use gigantic 3d printed compass :)
That is sooo great! It is very much in the style I use when doodling on paper. I just ordered a 3D pen based primarily on this video. Thank you for this and for all the many other great ideas that you share.
Great, have fun!

That’s amazing!!! You really show you can Make anything!

Wow! I love your work....it pretty great 👍
I want to know more of 3d art work
What is the name of the paper you use to draw your art work?
Refreshing the subscriber tab squad!

Those drawings are making me think you like some bud/psychedelics from time to time
Try out the Soyan Professional 3d pen. Ive had it for about 1.5 years now, no problems.

You should be an artist. Really. Just make art with 3d printing pens and screw the printers.
If I could I'd be spamming this with likes. The idea is so cool and unique. I just don't have proper words to describe it!
Could you use a black sharpie on a white wall instead? You are very creative!!!
You should do something like this for a lamp shade. maybe sandwich your design with parchment paper so the light would cast shadow of your design.
Hey I love your vids I bought a 3d pen for my self. Because of your vids plz reply
Here's a challenge for you. Print something with a 3d printer, then try as best as you can to recreate that thing by hand with a 3d pen, layer by layer. Prove who is superior, man or machine.
I want to buy a 3D pen for myself. I'm just starting. Can you suggest one not that expensive, good to start?
Oh my god, these are goegeous...like Art Deco Death Star plans.
They still could have been 3d. Check out sanago.
The second one close up looked quite like it was made with stiffened yarn or wool thread. I really like this. :)
It would be awesome to see a world map. With various locations popping out at you, as you walk by.
Words are not enough for your art. This video is best of the bests. 👌👌👌👌
Trying the flexy filaments to make a design on a t-shirt will be cool
Awesome , could be cool For Windows too. Makes nice shadows
these are so good. my 3d pen arrived today. cannot wait to try making something like this
that part where you drew tons of sketches but ended up selecting the initial ones.. that's me lol
Make one that’s fricking glow in the dark!!
Did anyone else realize that the first pice looks like Sonic the hedgehog
You make me wanna buy a 3d pen now but i don't really have the imagination to make something as cool as this
I think the reason the filament worked so well is because the texture of the filament matches the texture of the wall. Also they are very close in tone because neither is too bright nor too dark, this makes me want a 3d pen
Is business good ?? I just saw your prices on your website??
Is it flexible enough to make into a roll? I want to make one and gift it to my friend but it looks like it is hard to carry around
i sneak peeked at the end result and god damn this is incredible!
2 dislikes already???!!! Okay, who did that!?
I could never have enough patience to do something like that.
how do you made circle on your pc for the printing?? can you send me a file ?
hah just got one spool of pla from this brand today:D
Any tips and I have almost the same pen but mine is made by smart gear I can not find it anymore. Thank god my dad bought when he did it was the last one
Do more drawing techniques like this one
I am definitely doing this with glow in the dark filament ... cause that’s all I have
That could be very awesome, I might do the same ;)
Make Anything turns out it’s really hard to see what I am doing because it’s the same colour as my tape protecting the table
unlucky...
Very cool - it reminds me of the aesthetic in the video game "Transistor"
Hi can you send me the file to print fot the circle ?? thank you
do a multiple texture/color 3d drawing
The color of the filament makes it look like it was drawn on the wall with a pencil. If that even makes sense. I love it and it makes me want to do something similar to this.

The second price looks like it could almost be steam punk
I like your doodle/sketching style👍
The large one looks like something you’d see on meet the Robinson’s
You are full of great ideas for 3D pen creations. Nice.
Well, damn.
You are an ideas machine, Devin.
i never use 3d pen before, but it can burn your hand, on the tip?
Most can, unless they use low temperature PCL filament
Yes it can but usually you won't touch the tip. Most pens do have a big grip before the tip
Fantastic! Gives me so many ideas 💡 thanks
I liked the last on on the first row that was cool....they all were though lol
What would have also looked cool was if you cut coloured card and placed it on some of the less detailed areas
Is it only me but I saw a cool guy in the first pattern smiling
Wow!!!! You are so creative! Love both pieces
It's like a human 3D printer.
Plz
What song is that that is at the intro? Idk why, but I like it.
this piece looks like it was made in concrete. Nice
The circles give it a tech/sci-fi /circuit look.
Okay, that's impressive as heck...
i feel like you should know John Fish
What is the name of this pen
Can u plz tell me its urgent
Would make a nice Ceiling Mobile too.
Can you please try out the mynt 3d pen???
I would love to see the eye turn into something
More 3d pen pixels please :D Nice vid!
