Thank you so much. My 3d pen is arriving today and I can't wait to get to practicing. I did make the mistake of watching well pros, lol, making amazing things and making it look easy. Your videos address helping me understand that much more was going on that they were not showing. You have a sub for life here. Keep them coming. The pen I ordered SCRIB3D P1 3D Printing Pen with Display is probably the most beginner pen I could find with temp and speed control. One thing I need to ask: I am unfamiliar with wax paper - it's not prevalent in my part of Australia - I have obtained some but I don't know which side is used for the projects. Hey, long shot this gets answered but I feel like I would really like a pen with some sort of lever that manually extrudes the PLA, is that something that exists and I am not having luck finding it, or would that be too problematic somehow long term for a pen with the heat internally? Even if it was shaped more like a glue gun I think I would prefer that control over the amount of pla coming out.

@@issyzh Did you try to increase the temperature of the filament? I think that should help it process through more easily. But if your out of filament try getting some extra filament the Size of your nozzle so you can try to fix the problem. I'm not sure if it will work but I gave you an idea.

    • @twistedhairball

They use standard 3d printer filament. Generally 1.75mm. Like he says use PLA. I get mine from amazon in 1kg reels. Roughly £15 but that's in the UK. I'd suggest just Google 3d printer filament suppliers and find one in your area.
