Need the rain, place too damn dry and thirsty, if only the government would invest in sustainable catchment system so we have water in the dry season.
So true notice how they doing it out by the urban center in Springfield
most definitely! this is just the beginning of the rainy season too. can you imagine september into october?
Cotton tree was my favorite chill spot when I used to hang out in st Thomas.
Can't believe it flooded out😱 wow
Once rain fall alot it always from i was growing up in the 90's
Their is a river that is behind those bilding on cutlis bottom road so a lot of that is coming from their too.
Hope you had your wellies on, when it rain it pours just be careful
Place must always be cleared of debris at all times to prevent drain blockages
So true i always wonder why they so care free after doing the road work
Port morant me home town from i was a boy in the 90's growing up this flooding is taking place even the other day on your channel i stated that it's gonna get worse now also to how mr hue built his place in the square over the brown's yard flooding out
I guess the tractor was pushing off whatever garbage that was washed up on the road!

I'm traveling from Canada to that area soon, so thanks for this and all your updates.
It's a blessing
This is just the beginning. There is going to be a lot more rainfall causing flooding this hurricane season.

In 1865 between 12_26 of October over 2000 people were hang and shot St Thomas is not the same since land of the great Paul Bogle

If yuh waah si flood out, travel to New Market in St Elizabeth... whenever it floods again, that's something to see...
Ok then I will try visit there when no rain because I won't know when it's going to rain there
I wonder why CHEC didn't start upgrading this section first? Given the location and history.
Look back before 1985 that areas always been flooding and people keeps building
Big up kllarity great work you been doing
Thanks
Klarity flex boss remember it's mosquito 🦟 season 😂😂
I'm sure once the proper drainage and road improvements finish for that side of St. Thomas, flooding should be less of a problem there. Speaking of which, have there been any reports of flooding in the parts of St. Thomas where roads have been fixed up already?
At one point there were some flooding in various sections of the new highway from Harbour View to Yallahs. Klarity did a vlog on it a while back.
Even a deaf dumb & blind man could tell you something not right
🤵🏾
Original soup 🍲 and jerk chicken man robbery big up
I pray the Chinese them find the way to get the water under control and let it towards the river bed
Black river needs some of that rain 🌧 bless up 🎉❤
here i though black river has been getting a lot of rain recently
Nice watching from Florida
I would think the road around river gap could be used to go to Land top and the driver would then end up right in front of Lynval. Correct me on this.
No proper drainage system, thats what you get.
they need to fix that before september into october when the rain is going to be more than this
you call that a flood, no man a paddling pool, where I live the streets look like raving water with cars swimming down the streets
where do you live?
Klarityflex ! PORT MORANT ROAD IMPROVEMENT IS NOT FINISHED AS YET ???
Is this a question? We all know that it not even start as yet
Has it even started?
@@klarityflexjamaica I am not living in St Thomas , So the local contractor gone with the BAG, ( laugh ) Ali Baba and his 49 thieves at work , only a pity the St Thomas people are blind and illiterate
Goat 🐐 boss 😂😂😂
Time come
Oh My Klarity mi fraid a the flood enuh man...

Blessings to you 🙏 and your family ❤❤
Upfulness
We down here in st Elizabeth want some good rain as well
that's true for the plants and crops, huh?
Water-boot and umbrella rowing boat day
Almost everywhere that has a cotton tree, it has flooding problems...a some spiritual tree dem, something nuh normal bout dem...
Ohh
you taught me something new today i am thinking about it and you're not lying at all
With all the buildings that was allowed to build up from the bridge back to cotton cross roads should not be their and it will only get worse that area is a low lying areas and with all those building that spells flooding plus more flooding
Very sad 😔
I born come see Port Morant Cotton tree flood out every year and I am 62 years
old now.
The road in cotton tree needed to lift about 6 feet and the river needed to dregg and that little creek that run by the old cotton tree needed to dregg right to the big river.
The drain from up Wade hill needs to be built over and proper Calvert put in..
Some of those buildings in cotton tree needed to go.. why did the Paris council allowed this building to put up at Cotton tree square?
And too much illegal building at Cotton tree.
No proper planning done for all these buildings..
That's the entire jamaica, no planning.
@@MrNanah38 the gray and white building on the front of the background is partially in the road.
The St Thomas parish council dropped the ball on this one and looked how the little town looked ghetto?
All these unorganized buildings and venders..
Cotton tree square is not the Cotton tree square I know back in the 70s and up to the 90s..
The little square is over commercial..
Who is the counselor for Port Morant and it surrounding?
Well said. Sounds like you have been there since the days of the Pengellys from Clifton Hill.
Maybe the people who built that gray & white building have deep connections in the government.
@@elgranjero2284 very much so...
And it is the public play field that people put up in that building.
I remembered as a boy when they would play crickets and football on that play field and people would come watch the games..
Expect more or worse of this because of global warming time for men lo be train in emergency respond to know how to deal with any situation
most definitely because this is just the beginning. it will be even worse later in the year according to the forecast maps
I don’t see drainage
Those would be in place when the work start this side they putting drained and all from prospect coming along they reach lieth hall corner now
It a shame in 2024 people have to live in this .the mp live in up town st andrew where there is good roads and no flood when there is rain.
A shame who told them to build or give permission to construct in low line areas
These ppl jus like to chat off them clappaz bcuz even in developed countries crazy flodding take place and also when you tell some of these ppl not to build them say govt a fight poor ppl and blah blah so dwam if you do dwam if you don’t
I thought the MP lives in Old Pero
