As soon as this prep was up, I went to shop for what I didn't have on hand. It was a challenge, but I did find miso paste and curry paste in Idaho. Spent an hour cooking. I was a little leery of the miso soup, it looked kind of pale on the vid, but let me tell you, it's soooooo good. It tastes almost like chicken soup. I added a package of frozen edamame and it gave a little pop of color. I love prepping because I work evening shift and can still feed my family nutritious meals with minimal effort. Thank you for your great recipes!
I love the one hour meal prep. As a wife and mother who runs the kitchen AND a student who works part time with only one day off in my week one could imagine how little time I have. This is perfect for me. P.S. been watching your videos for a while and you are looking more and more gorgeous. Healthy everything...whatever you're doing keep it up!
Just a note, from my living in Japan for two years, add the miso paste only after it has boiled. Add, dissolve and then simmer. This way the boiling process doesn't destroy the "live" organisms that exhibit in miso and make it so healthy. Thank you for all your tips and ideas. I'm a new, 2 month old vegan.
Thank you for making these! Inspired me to start a channel - but not a recipe one, cause there ain't no one out there wanting to watch pb&j's bein made. Thanks for the amazing work you do !!!
I wish I could could organize my meals so well. Your channel is the first that shows meal prep ideas that seem doable for a lazy, broke student like me, so thanks :D
do you usually boil miso paste? I've heard it's supposed to be added at the end after everything else is cocked and while it's not boiling because the taste changes.
Hi! Tips for growing a UA-cam channel - know your audience/niche and be more specific about what you specialize in, consistently upload at least 1-2 videos a week, participate in the community and collab! hope this helps!!
Great food! I'm gonna try all of your lovely recipes. (Top quality beans and chickpeas were half price at my local yesterday - I'm going back to buy another 20 cans now!). Thanks for this CLV!
Wow - I made them all. The tahini dressing is absolutely delicious - fantastic combo of flavours. Had no coriander so used mint, and it worked fine. I could eat that salad for a week straight. The others dishes were also beautiful, but that salad...
Hi! Enjoying your videos so far, haven't seen too many but wanted to say I like your look in this one best so far :) This is the video that made me subscribe ;) can't wait to try these recipes!
I am in love with your hair, it looks absolutely gorgeous! (Wouldn't mind a tutorial on how you did that color by the way XD) Love your videos, especially the recipe and vegan cuts ones ;) Love
Appreciate the meal prep ideas, especially the quinoa recipe, because I'm so bored with this grain and now I know what to do with the half package that stares me in the face every time I look in the pantry. Also, really love the new intro music. However, I now always picture you wearing a beret and strolling down a city street with a baguette tucked under your arm whenever I hear it. : ) TFP
For the miso soup you would try to add the miso after everything is cooked because you should never boil miso soup because it kills all the organisms in it and makes it loose its flavor.
These dishes look so yum. I'm so excited about becoming a vegan. I'm starting to annoy myself and everyone around me though. It's just such a winning way to live. I can't see a con. I don't even miss meat. I'm so excited!😆
I say use what works for you! It's better to adjust a healthy recipe to what you have, rather than not eat it at all. Fresh will almost always be better (depending on the recipe), but hey! Do what you gotta do! Just be careful and read the can to see if it has any extra added seasonings/spices. Added salt and herbs can change a recipe's flavor quickly!
Everything is so quick and delicious looking but I'd advise you to wash your quinoa and lentils before cooking them (makes them more tasty and digestible)
In these quick prep videos people literally just throw everything into a pot at the same time and I'm sitting here thinking... in all my childhood I thought cooking was so difficult, like how am I supposed to know when the next step follows? It seemed so important when and how you add stuff in the process. It was all a lie D:
Haha! The only thing i try to cook first are onions, garlic and carrots because I don't like crunchy bits in my food! My dad had no teeth so I got used to it when I was young! lol But if food is raw I love it crunchy! Just not cooked!
Regular peanut butter. Try mixing it well with the non-dairy milk in a separate cup, then pour on top of the oats. I have never seen powdered PB, but whenever I need PB in a liquid, I put the PB in the liquid and whisk like mad. :D
You can actually put chickpeas into smoothies and nice cream. No, seriously, a third of a cup adds an extra boost of protein, and you can't even taste them.
i think i watch your videos before bed because your narrating voice is just so soothing....
You sho
Dr. Wendy totally agree!!!!
like ASMR

Yes, I've been looking for this video for a month. Finally food I can eat for 5 days over and over that looks cheap and healthy. Thank you so much.

Taking notes. The breakfast idea + the quinoa dish are gonna be first. Rose
literally my favorite Vegan channel
Try to add miso at the very end-because boiling and cooking miso ruins its flavor :) Great & very helpful video btw!
Your hair is so beautiful in this video. The color is gorgeous!! 😍
my mom use to make a very similar bean salad every summer when I was little. Just slightly different dressing. Now I miss it.
Your videos are great / useful. You also have a very uplifting attitude, thanks for making awesome videos and making Vegan life easier!

For the miso soup you would try to add the miso after everything is cooked because you should never boil miso soup because it kills all the organisms in it and makes it loose its flavor.
Will all of this last in the fridge???

Miyankochan not really the taste changes a lot if u work out your timing
Haha! The only thing i try to cook first are onions, garlic and carrots because I don't like crunchy bits in my food! My dad had no teeth so I got used to it when I was young! lol But if food is raw I love it crunchy! Just not cooked!
if i dont have peanut butter powder in my city with what can i replace it??
Regular peanut butter. Try mixing it well with the non-dairy milk in a separate cup, then pour on top of the oats. I have never seen powdered PB, but whenever I need PB in a liquid, I put the PB in the liquid and whisk like mad. :D
Upscent thank you¡¡
hey, you are welcome :))))
Such a good video! 😍
Nice meal prep. My question is can I make smoothie with firm tofu? Cannot find silken tofu. Thank you
Pascale Devalet you can, just add a little more liquid of choice.
Alana Robertson thank you
You can actually put chickpeas into smoothies and nice cream. No, seriously, a third of a cup adds an extra boost of protein, and you can't even taste them.
You have to rinse quinoa always w hot water before cooking because it's slightly venomous! Always!
thank you Rose. you look beautiful.
언니 너무 아름다워용♡
Do you live in Toronto?
