this was great...I have enjoyed all the interviews I could find on Bowie. Those take in every nuance; he's a listener, and listeners are the smartguys!
Willy thanks for uploading this interesting and nice interview. David gave a lot of interviews in 1993. On UA-cam I found more than a dozen. We know how kind and helpful he's always been to the press, for the benefit of us fans of him. What a lovely, charming, outgoing man; a true english gentlemen!
Gosh, this interview is so great. I’ve never seen before interview like this. I mean that fact that camera was still on when they actually done with official part is magnificent. For a moment I just felt like if I was there.
I sometimes am so inclined to write my own songs. I'm thankful to have been given a guitar early enough to play along to them. But David was on another level. I enjoy writing, but at a very early age his writings just flowed out of him. His ability to adapt to the evolution of music from any given time frame is nearly unseen from anyone else. If there was anyone that any musician should sttive to be, I'd aay it's bowie. Possibly late Johny Caah as well. I wish we got to hear more from both.
Great interview, thanks! First I disliked the interviewer as it all sounded like a cross-examination of a sorts, but I guess if you have little time and need the answers that's what you do, you don't linger. Then it turned into proper conversation towards the end much more enjoyable for both parties I bet... and David humming at 24:02 🙂
Wonderful interview! Thank you very much for uploading Just one question- is it possible that you put your watermark over the vogue-white backdrop or at a push over David's shirt and not his face, if one may inquire? Seems a tad disrespectful to the Great Man Himself...
@@WillyBilliams Oh! how kind of you to respond. Very grateful for you posting not Willy. Really appreciate that you didn't slap that watermark over David's face. Keep up the good work...
Thanks for posting! If you have a second, we uploaded a cover of Van Halen. As fellow music lovers, we'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on our channel. Don't be too tough on us :)
Look I love his fixed teeth. But way more importantly I think is that it was of some importance to David to get them fixed. That's all that matters. I love his look with nice teeth. I think he did too.
Drop-dead gorgeous. I still sometimes forget that he's dead and remember it with a pang. I could listen to his beautiful voice forever...
David Bowie always presented as such a down to earth and charming person during interviews. A very wise and kind man. Sorely missed!
lol that’s the Capricorn in him
جمهورية مصر
Should oh seen him on the drugs lol.
That hair! That face! That charm! That wisdom! So very Bowie....
god he was gorgeous inside and out. He was so intelligent and thoughtful, interviews with him are always so interesting
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I adore David Bowie 💙

Seems like he enjoyed the chat in the beginning more than the actual interview
He always seemed to be happier just talking than answering the same inane questions about his past over and over
Ooooohhhhh be still my heart!
Bowie at his happier times! Thank you!t
The beginning of his happy period. It went on for the rest of his life.
Love this. Thank you so much for the upload. Always looking for 'new' BOWIE interviews.
Your welcome
me, too!
Mr. Saturday Night (1992) is the movie at the start
Never heard of It
I guess i understand having a personal motivation to have perfect teeth, but when you adore him you find the imperfect traits endearing.
Miss him.

This is a real find; thanks for sharing.

Loved this!
Imagine this guy on x factor’ lol. Perfect example of how talented musicians never need that trash❤
Fantastic Bowie .... hope my Bowie Interpretations on UA-cam makes him smile from far far away ... so cool.
This sparks joy! Thank you for this 😍
Thanks haven’t seen this before
last poets when the revolution comes [gil scott heron the revolution will not be televised]?
man, man, thanks a lot
I wondered what the questions were that Bowie was answering. Interviewer couldn't be heard very well.
Is it Michael Wincott he's talking about as the comedian?
The "north of England" thing threw me as he's Canadian
Robert Johnes is not missed the dead fans are missed

Love David Bowie and his answers. Just can't hear the mumbled questions by Interviewer.
Does anybody know who he originally wanted to work with on Black Tie White Noise before he went with Al B. Sure?
Lenny Kravitz

Hi Rachel. This is how I found the video. Sadly there is nothing I can do about the watermark. Glad you like it though. Some very nice candid moments.

@@rachaelleggett8643 Isn't that a beautiful face?
Throw me tomorrow
can't hear the questions
Doesn’t matter.
They should of just done the interview like when they were just shooting the
Breeze at the start of the interview 🎉🎉

of course, he was actually quite short
×
What is up with the interviewer's obsession with Farrakhan and rap music? Lol.
Jesus ..wish he kept his original teeth
He said his teeth were "desintegrating" around 1990 or so saying "so I had to have them capped" ... He probably did it out of necessity.
Look I love his fixed teeth. But way more importantly I think is that it was of some importance to David to get them fixed. That's all that matters. I love his look with nice teeth. I think he did too.
i definitely don't feel the same fascination by looking at him with the generic teeth.
Was he interviewed by Garth Algar who faked French accent all throughout?
I think David is on coke here.
