    Frankincense, Myrrh, Clary Sage and Geranium are great oils for aging skin. Either in combination or used separately. I put all of them in my handmade face cream.

    The last 3 months Ive been using tretinoin and emu oil at night, just those 2. I have seen the biggest change in my skin!!! I double cleanse, then apply the tretinoin and then 5 or 6 drops of emu oil. My doctor says that emu oil could possibly help the tretinoin penetrate better.

    I've been mixing Grape seed, Jojoba oil, Rosehip oil, Argan oil and Squalane oil and mix 4 full droppers of each in to a single bottle and use it a single oil at night under my moisturizer.

    Brianna, I love watching your skin care videos. My skin is very unique, at the age of 21 I developed severe cystic acne, prior to Accutane, in fact I was one of the first patient's on Accutane. I have had Laser resurfacing & scar revision surgery. In December I will turn 60 years old & would like to find a concoction for my aging skin. I still have small cysts, alot of scarring, large pores, a little redness, fairly normal skin & wrinkling mostly to my neck & eye area, though fortunately not bad. I'd love to find something natural that works for me. Thank you again Brianna!

I have combination skin a little breakouts here and there, trying to lighten acne scars. So my question is does it matter the oil brands? I see so many like in TJMax for fair $? I also own a few oils from doTerra as well . Thanks

    Hi Brianna- this is my absolute favorite video from you. I have a quick question about the emu oil you recommend- is there a particular reason you like this brand & why? The reason I ask, is I have purchased this emu oil from your company and I loved it, it worked very effectively on my breakouts. After I finished I then tried a different brand, Thunder Ridge emu oil from Amazon. This Emu oil was OK but nothing like the purple emu oil you recommend. Also, I didn’t get the same results as I did with your Emu oil. That is why I want to now why you chose purple emu oil? Do you have any information on the company itself? Any response from you would be very very helpful. Thank you!

    ❤️Quick question ❤️Are all the oils Noncomedogenic? I purchased Emu oil through Premier Look, the 2 oz Purple Emu in this video & I love it. Also is Emu oil antibacterial? I was nervous to put it on my face, but I whole heartedly trust you & used it now every other night for about a week & my skin literally is glowing in the morning. Seems like a miracle oil to me. Is that your favorite oil for the face to prevent wrinkles, prevent breakouts and have glowing skin?

      April Abernathy I use a 20 oz bottle and each time I mix what I feel I need but grape see oil and coconut or both are my base oils. I will add glycerin, jojoba, castor, which is great for age spots, lavender, rose hip, squalene and then add some 100% aloe to complete the fill up. The aloe helps it sink into the skin better. Sometimes I add essential dips such as the frankensence she talked about. You don't have to put all of this just mix what u feel u need and u can the mixture out depending on how your body responds. I will put this in my hands and run all over while I'm wet from the shower and just lay dry and finish rubbing the oil until it soaks in. Then I rotate every other night between a retin lol body cream and aha 20% cream. I am 54 and I have no crepe body skin. Because I have Thyroid disease I do suffer from extremely dry skin so I also take lipowheat supplement. These things together has quenched my dry skin now for about 5 years and I will never stop none of these. I use to be so dry I would scratch my legs until they would bleed. Flaky skin gone. I hope this helps

  • @mrspatriciasteele
    @mrspatriciasteele 7 років тому +5

    Hi Brianna! I’ve got a newborn so I’ve been spending less on skin care and using essential oils with carriers has been one of my methods and I love it as well! I LOVE frankincense. It’s very healing for redness and inflammation and just very soothing to the soul. A question for your expertise particular to a product line. It’s not yours so forgive me in advance but have u ever looked at the ingredients to First Aid Beauty’s products? There’s no chemicals or parabens and it has colloidal oatmeal and my skin has been LOVING the intense repair cream. It’s price is almost nothing compared to what I’d been spending on medical grade (which I know is best and you’ll probably remind me of that lol) but for my current situation is there anything in that product you see that’s bad? Also, is squalene oil derived from shark 🦈 organs?

    • @BriannaStanko
      @BriannaStanko  7 років тому +1

      LOL you know me so well ;) But I honestly do not know much about that line but if its working for your skin thats great!! So glad you enjoyed this video and isn't it so fun making your own facial oils?!! I agree, I love the Franincense too! I have not heard that about Squalene...I don't believe that to be true. Alot of it comes from olives actually! ;))

    Enjoyed this! Would love to see a concoction for crepey sagging skin especially the neck.

    Love, love, love this video! I have 2 questions: first, can oils be used for the eye area, and 2nd, is there a difference in the color of the oil bottles...like blue, or brown?

    I loved this video! You’re always so informative, but this video especially peaked my interest because I love mixing my own oils, too! I definitely want to try tamanu oil! I’d love to see more videos like this since I have more access to oils than I do expensive skincare products ☺️
