It also is a home to the largest living population of Nilgiri Tahrs.Recently visited Eravikulam National Park and was lucky enough to spot Nilgiri Tahrs. The places is extremely scenic and is unique is various ways. Not only it is popular for its Tahrs but its also is a land for the highest peak in South India. in which month did you visit Munnar? planning to visit after sept 15 but not sure because of the rains
I visited during July. Usually the rains are unpredictable in Munnar. But it only drizzles and does t rain heavily. Also, when I was there it only used to rain during evenings. Day time used to be clear so I could explore without any issues

Hey how much time does the national park visit takes
Around 2-3 hours should be enough. The bus ride inside the park takes around 20-25 mins one way.

Guys... Please trust me. This place is a time waster. Don't go here. You will waste your money and half day both together to see 2 goats. These place should be closed till now by Kerala Government. Only people doing research on mountain goats are advised to go here. 90rs per person 40 RS for camera they will ask. After paying these much money you will find your self standing in a queue for 1.5 hrs to get in to the bus. Then you will go up and it's not over, you will have to walk for 2kms to watch 2 goats. Way back again stand in to the queue for 1 hr to get in to the bus.
Don't go.. Please please don't go here. Rather rest in your hotel.
