Haha having Oliver Reed on your chat show was good for ratings, to see what hell broke loose. A man you could count on. This looks great; I'm getting it. Any good stuff must be rewarded in the hope that more will come. Another great review, Phil and Bones, thanks!
Thanks for reviewing this one Phil. I thought it was very good, they nailed the period perfectly. I can recommend a couple of other recent films set around the same time, 'MaXXXine' and 'Woman of the Hour'.
Blimey phil new one on me mate 😳...have to check it out..just loving the mummys shroud 😊...at the moment..the mexico:..le vampyre and vampires coffin are ok vamp noir..in black and white...too....but getting through all the hammer mummy outings..Valerie Leon...wow 👏 😂😂nice one mate hammergazz
Great review, Phil. I was thinking of watching this film, but will definitely give it a go now. Like you, I thought Blair witch was really good and very scary. Cloverfield was another “found footage” film that I thought was very good. Keep up the good work. Neil.
Cheers Neil. Need to watch Cloverfield sometime, sounds really good. Will also have to review The Blair Witch Project sometime, really enjoyed that one and doesn’t deserve the criticism it gets.
The presenter of the talk show is dull. In the 70s and 80s, he would have been played by someone great like Robert De Niro or Jerry Lewis. Both in The King of Comedy. Only having a good knowledge of film history do you not get hoodwinked into believing that these modern bland and characterless actors are good/great. David Dastmalchian is the epitome of bland. But at least he is 'diverse'. I'm sure that MrSuperphil thinks that the Joker movies are great. This movie would be a great copy of a 1970s television talkshow...if the talkshow had set in Riyadh or Mumbai.
Would have loved to see a younger Robert De Niro playing the role. He was great in The King Of Comedy. Didn’t mind Dastmalchian in this, just the ending wasn’t that great after the build up. Still really enjoyed it though, probably due to the wonderful 70s set design and costumes.
Hope you enjoy the video. Please could you like the video, and also subscribe. This really helps, and is most appreciated. Thank you.

Will definitely be doing both of them. Great choices.

For a modern film its really good. Something different.
This looks good, shall I buy it?
@@tennkenobi yes it’s definitely worth buying. Especially if you like the 1977 setting.
