- Great Sailing, tons of dolphins, and a little bit of beach play time.
On this episode of WE|Sail, we enjoy some well deserved beach time on a remote secluded island off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. We have solid winds for a great 2 day sail towards the northernmost bay in Costa Rica. Along the way, we are joined in company with so many dolphins which make us feel like we are no longer alone.
We find ways of entertaining each other by regularly scaring each other while out sailing and keep our spirits high. All we need is wind, dolphins and the air horn.
We start to make our way north of Costa Rica in hopes to possibly clear out of the country in hopes to go to Mexico before hurricane season.

I have not been around marine diesel engines in probably 25 years, but I thought I recalled the engineering folks saying that it is a good idea to let the engines idle and cool down for a little while after being under load. I Googled around a little bit and it looks like it is still recommended, especially if it is turbo charged
I have no idea if it was editing or not, but it appeared you shut yours down pretty quick when you got the spinnaker up, so maybe research and see if it is recommended for yours.
Looked like a heck of a good time, you two are living my retirement dreams, glad to see the smiles.

I think this is your Funniest! video in the whole series so far. Loved how Warren felt he had to explain to Mom and Dad that he wasn't drunk; and then the Epic Haircut and Warren commenting that although he scared the stuffin' out of the pufferfish he bet they were thinking "What a nice haircut that alien had!" :-) :-) Plus all the efforts to scare each other - this is the most playful of your videos - must be Trevor's influence! Just don't go blarin' that damn airhorn near Anyone's ears!!!

Also, I would like to say that I don’t feel like y’all are “complaining” a lot or constantly about COVID. Simply speaking about it as all of us land locked folks were doing cooped up in our houses. Meanwhile WE are out sailing with dolphins etc. They have to occasionally stop on land just as we land folks occasionally have to stop by the store or step outside our houses to go for a walk. Furthermore, most of the island they had previously visited before the “outbreak” also had virtually zero people there! Would it make you complainers that are complaining about WE complaining feel better if they wore their masks on the “closed beach” and bought some toilet paper while they are at it?!? This video was from April people!! Let it go.... They are not going to go back and change the past for starters and they had to dock their boat because they couldn’t anchor anywhere. Jeez O Petes! Think before you speak :) Enjoy the video they share or scroll on by if it offends you

the reason the beach is empty and you have it all to yourself is because others are following the rules. If everyone didn't follow the COVID rules then the beach would not be empty. way too much complaining we all went through it and still are.
