Indians, generally, take life as it comes. Our performance may be not at par with other nations. But in crisis, we are the best performers. Example, we are the best in disaster recovery.
If we improve our performance when not in crisis too, we will lead the world in all spheres.
I agree that computations of progress data are very western bent rather then reality. So civil servants must mind the processes rather than wholeheartedly accepting the concept which foreign. I agree to the wisdom of both on the podium
i have been living in UUSA FOR LAST 45YRS ; here in california , some counties school children can't even read and write in science subjects , reason because of spanish mother tongues cannot replace english in schools and a strong dislike for language that is offending to community! 37% of blacks are backward in all segments of education and a big fault lines that UNIFIED EDUCATION could not unite that has been left SEGREGATED thru discrimination !

NOT AGAIN.. it has happened to much already. everyone has a space but that cannot be carved out of a woman's rights. it is aggravating and exhausting to focus in such fragmented issues. everyone require protection and support but not at the expense of merit.. be careful of inclusion based on fragmented thinking.

Many held Palki Sharma in very high esteem until she began by projecting the Mahabharath in the wrong light and worse still did not repond to Mr. Rangarajan Narasimhan with an apology when he tore into Palki Sharma's shallow knowledge of the Mahabharath. Just as Shashi Tharoor excels in putting across improperly researched info as truths so beautifully in the English language, Palki Sharma is trying to gain similar popularity. What Mr. Rangarajan Narasimhan did to Palki Sharma, J Sai Deepak did to (and keeps doing so every time a new book or communique comes from the Tharoor's publishing) Shashi Tharoor.

Minister boast all along the conversation and the very famous statement "where is the evidance of your claim" need to be asked by her and her political man handling all those narratives.
