It is only Palki Sharma who is qualified to interview him. These two people, Palki and Jaishankar, are one of India's BIGGEST assests. Palki NEVER fails to impress us each and every single time. This is what journalism is. These two people, in one single room, are enough to take over the whole world just by their sheer words and quality. So proud to be an Indian. JAI HIND

Should that be so,the "BIGGEST assets" bit , then the Republic of India, already financially indebted to an unprecedented degree, is matched in , & perhaps exceeded, only by the extent of its moral, spiritual & intellectual poverty. Sad to see a little boor trying to be a "Tough Guy". Doesn't cut it. As forthe other person age there's a long way to go .

Read between the lines! Blair is saying it is not just India but Indonesia, Philippines are also rising. He is trying to draw a longer line to his futile effort in showing India's line is shorter (remember Birbal story). UK including Europe are in a denial phase but next decade they will taste the reality.

    • @sampadization

Indonesia, Vietnam ARE rising. He is not wrong. It's not only India. It's the failure of India that economically It's letting Malaysia, Indonesia take away from It's potential.

      Blair attitude is focused on
      Dilute indias speedy economical Developments
Trying to match our indian economical development with Philippines indonasia
      Vietnam
Blair talks clearly expressed by him
still blair kept his mindset along with his strong colonial out look on india

Ms. Palki Sharma is great in her opening circastic remarks. I enjoyed it. While Tony Blair claimed it "sharing power", she has her own views" Reversal of power", while Dr Jai is constrained to correct it to "Rebalancing". Because he is foreign Minister of a Souverign Nation who could not obviously be curt while dealing with international affairs which might affect India. Very thoughtful usage of phrases by him. That is why he excels while putting forth India's position in all international forums which could not have rebuttal. I enjoy his speeches the way he puts and I admire him often. I pray for his long healthy life to serve India. He is a gem

Not even a single question about Russia Ukraine? I'd have asked Blaire what's the difference between the pretext of invading Iraq and invading Ukraine. If he said Russia is lying that Ukraine will be a threat to its sovereignty then my follow-up question would be where are the WMDs after 20 years?
