Honestly I feel like the gas guard ominant badge is too op because you can get it before ever having to make a gas mask, and I feel like you should at least have a challenge to fight your first stink bug to get the stink bug part for the mask. It would’ve been better if they hid it somewhere in the haze, so you need to make a gas mask to get it. I do love the food elemental damage badges though because you can upgrade your weapon through mighty so you can extra durability+damage and the elemental damage bonus from the badge. Also, it would be cool if you can apply two elemental damages at a time, so example using a salty weapon with a sour badge, because that would be op against bots. But would it apply both, or the badge removes the weapon modifier, or vise versa?

Does anyone know if the candies (sour, cha chas, mints) respawn? because I started looking for all and I've found all sour candies and mints, but none of them gave me their charm, so I was wondering if and when they respawn so I can try again?
Yes they do but at different rates for different areas/ OR its simply RNG. The quickest way is the Sandbox because there are 12 treasure locations (8 in the sand/4 at the castle). Not all the treasures will be nodes you can break (i.e. they are chests and tbh I'm not sure if chests count for resource trinkets) but the respawns are quick. The next quickest is in the Woodpile in the canyons for some of the treasure lcoations there. There are also 3 locations (poss 4) at the Barbeque. The slowest to respawn for me (maybe because mine was a beta world) are the following and seem to only spawn every 3-4 cycles: TRASH HEAP: 1) The Mint container in the Trash Heap. Sometimes one, sometimes 2 mints. 3) A Cha Cha on top of a container (you can drop down to this from the roof) 3) A Cha Cha under the broken flowerpot 4) Cha Cha - only once by the knife you use to get up to the roof, near to the battery. WOODPILE: 2) The Mint container in the Woodpile canyons. This is very rare and guarded by dustmites... As I say it they could be on different clock cycles or its just circulating RNG. Happy hunting EDIT:There may be more that I've missed so I apologise in advance if I have done
It's a shame that if you play with friends on a server only 1 of you can use any 1 of these so you can't get 3 off thors one and each run it which kinda blows but 🤷♂️
How much ladybird larvae do you think need to kill on average to get the sizzle resist? Because it feels like ive killed a lot and I still dont have it
I was curious/ worried on what happens if one for larva or food drops and you dont pick it up or missed it. Will it despawn and can another one spawn or will it be just sitting there. I been playing alot and worried that one could of dropped and I didnt notice.
Can’t answer your question directly but I do have three of the larva pieces currently so I’m guessing that they will at least continue to have a chance to spawn. I would assume the same for the food..
I really hope that (non-farmable) these trinkets become caftable once you obtain them. Playing on a multiplayer server is kind of a buzz kill when only one player is able to get something like the poison/haze resist, or only one player being able to run an unarmed build. If we do get a zipline trinket it would REALLY suck if multiplayer servers arent able to have every player able to go back up ziplines. I cant imagine it would break anything if these were made to be craftable, or maybe purchasable with raw science from burgle or something. Nothing too easy, but attainable.

Wish you could combine all the charms (excluding the intern badges) that would be so useful
Does someone have the command IDs for all the trinkets? We have lost some badges due to disconnecting while being downed, and it results in stripping all equipped armor/items/accessories and deletes them. And we can't replace them apart from making a new world.. and F that idea
That parry heal ominant looks OP as hell
ikr
i got two fungal charms back to back in the pit in the haze. i figured it would be rather common with that happening
I destroyed several hundred of haze fungus. Currently have 800 fungal chucks. No charm so far
Did they change pinch whacker? Mine isnt hackin anything down, not even grass :(
Yeah I guess they did change it because its not chopping anything for me either
The Pinch Whacker didn't seem to do anything to the dead roots, did something change or am I doing something wrong?
Yeah, it's no longer classed as an axe 👎
I don’t know what to feel when I got the mantis trinket on its second kill but haven’t seen any others than the badges and the Thor and Sarah trinket. Break all food in sight n dandelion tuffs but nothing.
wow.. got all the acces cards et two charms, I felt lucky enough but then I saw your video... I got a lot of work XD
You will get there dude
Huh... I went into the haze lab via the underground pipe, first fungal growth I destroyed gave me the charm. Luck o' the Irish I guess.
making a parry build with my new playthrough. upgrading healing, using the badge, and mosquito needle.
Damn I went on top of the box where the power droplet is just to make a base I had no idea it was over there
The new update just turned this whole trinket thing into borderlands type loot
Thanks this helped alot❤
Cheers, glad you liked it
can you get multiple of the random drop trinkets? my buddy and i play together and would both like to have everlasting hogstoppers if thats possible, but ive had no such luck in finding another yet
It’s really rare I wanted the sour wormhole trinket but there were not enough for me to get it
@@FloatingRat4304 the wormholes scattered around respawn every so often. just scan for them.
Do charms break or you can always use them, for instance the spicy attack charm
Do these respawn or are some of them 1 time get?
If your lucky you could get two of the candy trinkets but the badges you can only get once
I had the dandelion charm but I didn't know it was a charm
I must have gotten lucky because as soon as I watched this video and found out about the fungal charm the very first fungal I harvested gave it to me🤣🤣
Honestly I feel like the gas guard ominant badge is too op because you can get it before ever having to make a gas mask, and I feel like you should at least have a challenge to fight your first stink bug to get the stink bug part for the mask.
This is such a good question go into creative and test that out because if u can stack elements that’s super useful for who’s mode
Badge overrides weapon element and the toxicology badge is no longer 100% resistant to gases
I never knew mantis trinket is so rare i got it 1st try and never used it because i like dandelion more
For the hot cha charm for example could I save before harvesting and just keep resetting save till I get it or are the chances already determined?
Yes that's how I got the Billy hog one, by saving and reloading
i found out if you reload ur safe u always get the same drop from killed bugs. like i killed the black widow 4 times and reloaded, got 4 times the same stuff with no poison drop. could be people just loaded the mantis 100 times and didnt get anything because of this.
The one beneath the tool box doesn't drop poison i loaded back many times and re killed it many times but it never dropped super poison i had to wait many in game days for the other ones to respawn
hey! i killed another one, not the one under the toolbox.
@@j.dillan7958 I've only killed 2 that one and the one in the stone cave. I can say it does in fact drop poison, I got 3 from the cave and 1 from the tool box so I was able to make my dagger pretty quick. Sounds like Drabo might be on to something though if you just kept reloading.
@@j.dillan7958 i fought that one and got 3 poison... so its rng I guess
Reloading doesn't change what it drops cause that's the drops it spawned with. So you'd have to kill it and wait for a respawn to get different stuff.
3:56 bit vague isnt it? You standing on the stone, and afterwards you are inside a cave. Where did you enter? Below or side of it? :D According to the milk molar map ive got, it's below a cap. Had to add it. :)
not vague at alli show where i am on outside edge slabs and how close it is to teh juice box
Great video!
Thanks!
I've seen a few different answers and am too stupid to test myself, does the Entomologist badge increase ranged damage either with a bow/crossbow?
Could you do a video on all the new mutations and how to get them
Tbh I found the milk moler bottle entrance but did have tier 3 it would have made it soo much faster xd
what was your hammer upgrade fighting the asst manager
Do the elemental damage trinkets stack with their respective damage type? Like if I rock the mint mace and slap on suspicious ice cap will that add more damage to my mint mace?
Yes, the effect in the status menu says those trinkets add a flat amount of damage of said element.
Tried using the pinchwacker didnt work as a chopping tool not sure if you had a certain mutation activated or whats up
Does anyone know if the candies (sour, cha chas, mints) respawn? because I started looking for all and I've found all sour candies and mints, but none of them gave me their charm, so I was wondering if and when they respawn so I can try again?
Yes they do but at different rates for different areas/ OR its simply RNG. The quickest way is the Sandbox because there are 12 treasure locations (8 in the sand/4 at the castle). Not all the treasures will be nodes you can break (i.e. they are chests and tbh I'm not sure if chests count for resource trinkets) but the respawns are quick. The next quickest is in the Woodpile in the canyons for some of the treasure lcoations there. There are also 3 locations (poss 4) at the Barbeque. The slowest to respawn for me (maybe because mine was a beta world) are the following and seem to only spawn every 3-4 cycles:
TRASH HEAP:
1) The Mint container in the Trash Heap. Sometimes one, sometimes 2 mints.
3) A Cha Cha on top of a container (you can drop down to this from the roof)
3) A Cha Cha under the broken flowerpot
4) Cha Cha - only once by the knife you use to get up to the roof, near to the battery.
WOODPILE:
2) The Mint container in the Woodpile canyons. This is very rare and guarded by dustmites...
As I say it they could be on different clock cycles or its just circulating RNG. Happy hunting
EDIT:There may be more that I've missed so I apologise in advance if I have done
do you need to equip the badges in your accessory slot? or can you just have them in your inventory?
Accessory
can you do an updated mutations list with specific information such as upgrade percentage thanks kindly.
It's a shame that if you play with friends on a server only 1 of you can use any 1 of these so you can't get 3 off thors one and each run it which kinda blows but 🤷♂️
Interestingly I found fungal charm first, the only other one I've found is cha cha's.
How much ladybird larvae do you think need to kill on average to get the sizzle resist? Because it feels like ive killed a lot and I still dont have it
I've kill maybe 50 of them and got 2, juste keep bashing them
my brother got the fungal charm once and I didn't know what it could do so I asked him for it for my collection
Its GREAT against the Infected creatures that blow up
Just curious if there is a chance of dropping the same random drop trinket twice or more times ?
Yes I have two suspicious ice caps
@@FloatingRat4304 I'll swap you for one of my two Cha Cha's lol
can we get these twice if other been lost or what so ever?
18 planks seems to be the max... even when half hp i cant use the smoothie for more... not sure...
As of 1.01, the toxicology badge no longer protects against gas. Not sure if this is a bug or intentional.
Intentional unfortunately. It got nerfed to only 90% protection
I got two everlasting hogstoppers from a single hotdog in the sandbox and I really don't know how.
Hey guys, is the hot dog amulet only possible by breaking normal hot dogs or do rotten ones count too?
fresh only
@@JadePGC thank mate, helps a lot
I really hope that (non-farmable) these trinkets become caftable once you obtain them. Playing on a multiplayer server is kind of a buzz kill when only one player is able to get something like the poison/haze resist, or only one player being able to run an unarmed build. If we do get a zipline trinket it would REALLY suck if multiplayer servers arent able to have every player able to go back up ziplines. I cant imagine it would break anything if these were made to be craftable, or maybe purchasable with raw science from burgle or something. Nothing too easy, but attainable.
@greenismycolor wait what do u mean no no renewable resources on multiplayer is it bugged ?
@greenismycolor wow I had no idea I just play single player whoa mode and it’s challenging can’t believe multiplayer is like that
So there are quit a lot of trinkets which are a one per world kinda thing? So playing in a multiplayer world only one can have specific trinkets?
Yes for some trinkets (badges, rotten berry, sarah's charm, thor's pendant, power droplet).
Can you tell them to make the coaltana challenge a little easier because I’m playing grounded and it is one of my favorite weapons but I can’t get it
I need help I am trying to craft Sarah’s charm but I can’t find left elf charm I searched the chest in the stump lab but it wasn’t there or I lost it is there any way I can get it back
Anyone know how much Sarah’s charm repairs your weapons by or if it’s only certain weapons because I was using it for nearly 30 minutes on my black ox hammer and didn’t notice it get repaired at all
It only works on weapons that are not also tools.
@@phoenixbl It works on my Termite Axe and Hammers but you are partially right; it wont repair the tools if you USING them as a tool but it will if you are getting kills with the tools if that makes sense EDIT: Too many tools lol
I got really lucky on the fresh trinket (found it in the first mint candy box) and mantis on kill #6
Had to kill the mantis more than 100 times with the best build in the game it took me a hour but I got it earlier
Biomedical badge drains your food meter. Doesn't matter if you have food in your inventory lol
Is the pinch whacker not considered an axe anymore?
yah
