@PreppyGurlRblxandmc If what they gave you works then stick to it. Also, i’m no better than a dermatologist so if you ever planned on visiting again ask them about using retinol for your acne
Honestly I suffered from acne from middle school all the way to 30 years old. I’ve used all those products; didn’t help my acne. The only thing that completely KILLED my acne was actually limiting added sugars in my diet (I only eat fruit and occasional mildly sweet desserts now) and also banning dairy/milks from my diet. My skin is very clear now. The only times pimples show again is if I eat more desserts/sugar, processed foods or eat more dairy. You can put all the products on your face if you want but that’s won’t heal the internal issues - the chronic inflammation from a bad diet
I think consuming processed sugar is my problem now. I used to have really clear skin until I started drinking lattes everyday. I’m trying so hard to stop, but it’s so addicting😩
Then change it to something with "gentle" on it. Your face has a "allergic" reaction to it. More so a bad burning. Irritation try a serum & oil in your routine
@@phonymex3340 yeah ive been using a tula one now and its siper gentle. my face isnt senstive so yeah i think i just had an allergic reaction to cetaphil
What about acne under the skin? I’m pretty sure this called blind pimples or nodules and they suck because every time I try to pop them (it’s a bad habit, I know) nothing except horrible pain happens. What do I do and why products should I use?
this is late asf but some people say salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide (2-5 percent not 10) but benzoyl peroxide was better for me because those type of pimples are super inflammatory and benzoyl peroxide works better for big pimples
Just wanted to share my experience with DermalMD Acne Serum! It's been a game changer for my skin and has helped clear up my acne so much. Highly recommend giving it a try!
I read somewhere that just because it has minimal ingredients doesn't mean that it's better, because the ingredients itself are very strong and not that great. But everyone and their mother is so adamant about Cetaphil and CeraVe
because its cheap and gets the job done. €13 for a 500ml bottle of facial cleanser from cerave and the same for moisturiser. la roche posay sells 40ml moisturisers for €20 which is just not realistic for most people
Hey man thanks for your videos. Was thinking of incorporating cerave sa cleanser in am and pm routine. Do you know if it can be used in evening followed by retinol ? Appreciate it 😊
I have been using the oil free cleaning and clear set. Have you ever tried it? Did it work for your skin type? It works for mine because I have somewhat oily skin and it’s also sensitive so these cleansers do so much for me.
I don’t get why EVERYONE is talking about cerave like a panacea. This sht burned my skin off! And I’m talking about “gentle cleanser fot sensetive skin”. My skin was peeling off for a month.
I don't know why but when I used the cetaphil facial cleanser my skin turned red, felt hot, and I felt a burning sensation, I'm still confused why this happened because I have been using that cleanser for a few months and nothing happened when I used to use it.
Uk which shop I found crave sa cleanser, Amlactic lotion, Gold bond pure moisturiser and age renew night retinol face and body lotion , cetaphil acne cream ???
Use vanicream cleanser or a cleanser without niacinamide. A lot of people find niacinamide can cause some tingling/burning or bumps, even though it is a good ingredient. Some are just sensitive to it. I suspect that is what caused it.
Seeing a professional dermatologist would help a lot. But if you can’t do that, figure out their skin type and start watching videos on skin care about that skin type, you’ll find good products.
Roc , Olay or any retinol products at nights and use moisturizer on face and neck ex : Cetaphil hydrating night cream , or Nivea Qten night cream or Cerave skin renewing night cream , retinol can be harsh on the neck so before use retinol on your neck put on a moisturizer and use less than a pea size amount and gently in strocking motion apply to the neck or just buy a neck cream and sunscreen in the days use a Vitamin c or timeless Q ten under your sunscreen you can also use Nivea Q 10 SPF 30 moisturizer I the days especially if you are staying home ..
