Thank you. I always get dizzy reading the ingredients on those bottles and never knowing what is good for me. Im grateful for your videos.
I love your editing, it’s like a little trivia to help us remember the point of each kind of substance and the point of things you try to explain. Also, your explanations is easy to take in since they’re based, although it’s true that the world of medicine is ever so vast and always developing, still, I hope you’d be there to keep us updated through your vids. Really appreciate it doc.
Dr. Could you address proper facial care for men with beards? Especially those suffering from in gown hairs…
Exfoliating helps with ingrown hairs and exfoliating regularly should prevent them. Salicylic acid or glycolic acid depending on skin type.
@JasminMiettunen thanks chief
@JasminMiettunenI agree. Lather the cleanser but leave on for a couple of minutes to get the blocked cells to turn over. And wash your beard at the face level, not all over the hair.
Just discovered your channel. Really appreciate that you are to the point, comment on price points, and explain the benefits of the various products simply and concisely. Keep it up!
Facts
You always have such good information to impart. And I love that you actually show exactly what products work best. Thank you and please continue w this type of content.
The gentlest cleanser I’ve discovered and never turned back is Vanicream. For days when I wear a little makeup I use micellar for removal or The Ordinary Squalane cleaner, neither which use water which also strips your skin further.
OMG TYSM! I've only watched a tiny bit of the video but I normally just apply antiperspirant deodorant in the morning because I normally have a shower right before I go to bed. I'm a girl and one of my insecurities is when I sweat and I feel it will be visible through my shirt lol
Wow! Great info! Turns out I've been "slugging" for years. I use a hyaluronic serum, moisturizer then I use a light sheen of Keri Lotion on my face. Super moisturizing for my dry skin in the winter.
Dr Daniel, you are the real deal....Love your Chanel.
I didn't know you should use antiperspirant at night, thank you so much!
Yes, more series like this, please.
wow, so much good stuff i had to write it down! thank you for these amazing, to the point, yet detailed videos. can’t wait to give some of these tips a try 😄
I’ve had life long eczema, currently in my mid 20’s. It’s crazy that I’ve been using Vaseline this way my entire life and have experimented with other serums and moisturizers for everywhere on my body but my eczema never seems to go away. It gets better some days, but have never taken a shower without somewhere stinging.
I had it too and nothing worked. Had to wear gloves. I saw something about nivea in the blue tin that was good for around 30 % of excema. Worked for me after two weeks it was gone. Got maybe a few spots back in 7 years and it disapeared immediately when i used it again. But it must be the old one in the tin.
@ Thank you for the suggestion, I’ll go see if I can find some and give it a try!
@@UA-camdeltesallmycomments I'm gonna have to give that a shot as well.
That gentle skin cleanser is fantastic and it goes on cheap sale at Costco a few times a year. I get horrifically burned eyes during pollen season and this cleanser is mild enough to thoroughly wash my eyelids and eyelashes every day. Great stuff.
Great information. Please do more.
Thank u so much for sharing your wealth of information. There is always some tip I can take away.
Awesome video!! It's true....skin regimen changes as the season changes. Thank you for the helpful tips and new product review! And yes, please continue with helpful skin videos!
Wow thank you so much. The Cetaphil gentle cleanser works better than the Cetaphil exfoliating cleanser on my dry and textured skin . I have found out at the age of 35 that when i turned 33 i started seeing the "T" zone on my face .I still havent come to a great conclusion moisturizer yet . The cerave lotion i dont like but i think im liking the CeraVe Moisturizing creme i guess i didnt think it would be so thick .i get self conscious about my face feeling masked . Thats why i cant wear makeup its so weird but yeah i bought the Cerave moisturizer creme and im going to try it out for this entire month so far i feel it makes my face appear clogged but maybe its just me .The clogged pores has damaged my brain for the past 😅 three years definitely went crazy 😧 when i looked in the mirror one day .I wasnt ready for skin change and aging to say the least
Thank you for your sincere help ..you are definitely helping me
LaRoche-Posay! I use Cerave cleanser, cream one. I use Cerave retinol serum after. Then top with LaRoche-Posay double moisturizer for day and dermallergo for night. A little pricey but well worth it. 63 with an autoimmune disorder and used to do makeup. Focus on good moisturizers and enough sunscreen to do a great job every day!
Thank you 🌈
Oooooo great video!! For dermatitis you saved me ❤❤❤
I use the Publix store brand of Cetaphil and love it!
Just found your videos for the first time. I subscribed immediately after watching it. You are very interesting and informative and I appreciate the way you are both factual but friendly t the same time. I also appreciate that you provide several different suggestions for products for each condition . It is so refreshing that you don’t just push ultra expensive products that not everyone can afford. I am glad I found your channel and look forward to watching more of your videos.
My dad was of German ancestry. He sweat like crazy when working outside but had NO SMELL at all. But.....he took off his shoes and that made up for it. Lol. He never wore antiperspirant or deodorant. Didn't need to.
sweat is meant to be odorless, its just the bacteria in the armpits that gives it that smell
Yes…. Yes…. Please keep doing these, this was such great information especially with fall weather soon to arrive…… love it❤
Cetaphil has been my go-to for many years and during the winter months I use it on the body.
Nice! Great to hear you found a moisturizer that works well for you!
@danielsugaimd i use both the Gentle Cleanser and the Moisturizing Cream as well as Aquaphor
Love them. Don't use at the same time. I use on dofferent body parts. Lol. What type of makeup osngood for sensitive over 60 skin?
Love the glow up technique, thank you! Youre a great teacher! All the specifics were soo helpful!

Thank you for the tips and recommendations! Very helpful!
Excellent information! Thank you
We love all the content and help....have a blessed weekend ❤
Very helpful series. Thank you, Dr.
Thank you for your tips doctor 🥹 the hydrating cleanser from Cerave is a really good one. Though I hope everyone should be careful with the fake label and products. Gotta buy these from official or reliable stores. I'm trying Cetaphil daily facial cleanser and see if it'll help with my acne and oily skin. Will keep checking out your videos for more information 💚
I’d suggest adding Differin gel to help with your cell turnover. It will really help with oil and acne. You will notice some flaking when starting this. Also, try a glycolic or salicylic acid cleanser and leave on for a couple minutes. You have to get your cells to turn over.
@slc1161 will do. Thanks!
Big thank you from Jamaica.
As always, so helpful!
Enjoyed your video. I’m in my 50s and my skin started to get dry and I started getting dark spots. Started using the CeraVe line and my skin is so much better. Not dry after washing and the dark spots are lighter. I assume that’s due to the retinol face moisturizer and SPF.
Keep the tips coming!
Cetaphil (gentle) is great for long haul travel & camping. I'd put some in a 300ml bottle for carry on. Before landing, i wd clean face, neck & under arms. Feel fresher on arrival.
… Agree…Keep creating… Sounds Good. Pure Awesomeness.
Another super informative video! Thank you
I use Lancome's Nutrix Cream.
Loved the video! Thanks for the info!
Thanks alot, very informative ❤
Very helpful information, especially the tip about the Vaseline. Thank you
If you are acne prone, don't do this. It WILL break you out.
I use black castor oil in place of regular deodorant. Works very well well even in the summer.
Thank you! 🙏 😊
Wow! I learned a lot. Thank you
Great tips again and wishing you and your family a wonderful Fall season!🍁🍂
So helpful! Thank you for your no-nonsense approach.
Thanks so much for this information!

"Bust out the Irish Spring". Hilarious reference.
Exactly what I needed! Thanks for the info, excited to try these out. Bring on the next video!
Very helpful thank you
I am learning so much from you. Thank you.
Hi Dr. Daniel, thanks always for the useful tips! Can I ask if I can use vaseline if I have oily skin? Or should I just stick to a lightweight moisturiser instead?
If you don’t have acne, you can, but you don’t need it, it’s more for dry skin. If you have acne, slugging can trap oil and bacteria in your pores. Some people with acne swear by it but a lot of dermatologists warn against it.
CereVe Hydrating Cleanser makes my skin itchy. CereVe renewing SA cleanser works perfectly for me. I’d like to try the Cetaphil cleansers. I haven’t found a good dermatologist in Portland…. Wish I could drive up to Seattle for your care!! No one is managing my Rosacea
Do you have tips to avoid milia on eyelids?
Helpful!
Thank you for these great tips and product suggestions. I just subscribed to your channel.
Thanyou doctor segai your videos are so informative
Can you please do a video for open pores and textured skin,I have tried everything from nicanimide, salicylic acid ,retinoletc nothing seems to work 😢 in fact nicanimide seems to make my pores worse ,please could you recommend anything else thankyou ❤
Regular soap regular lotion they have that at Walgreens that's what I use how you get the lips to stay normal
Loved the video! I haven’t had luck so far convincing my sweetheart that he should apply his antiperspirant at night after his shower. But, I’m not a quitter!😂
Love your videos Could you also speak on scalp psoriasis
Great informati
Is SA ok for arm pits and groin. I'm going to start putting antiperspirant at night and will follow up with you. Thank you young man 😊
Yes, please! I enjoyed your informative video very much.
I've always genuinely been a non-sweaty man. Buy I'm turning 50 soon and I noticed my forearms (for the first time) were getting super sweaty during the day. Well, nightmare, because those forearms started to itch crazily at night. I also developed dishyrotic eczema between my fingers. Like I am having a critical allery to sweat. It's so ferocious and unblinking. Welts, blisters, incredible spike-urges to scratch. The only 3 helpful things are: Ice Packs to cool and numb forearms/ Gloves In A Bottle for my hands/ Resisting scratching.
Is coconut oul a good moisturizer for aging skin
Thank you for addressing hyperhidrosis. I have a severe case in my hands and feet. I have been using Drysol at night for years. Any new info would be greatly appreciated.
Hi dr! There are vids mentioned about putting antiperspirant at night.. but not discussed what to do in the am. We take showers also in the am.. do we wash the armpit and put deodorant (not anti perspirant) or not anymore? TY.
Those vids mentioning applying at night likely assume you are showering at night. The important part js applying antiperspirant/deodorant when the armpit is clean. If you shower in the morning, apply in the morning.
How is the CeraVe cream to foam cleanser for dry sensitive skin? Is the foam too drying or irritating? I was going to buy it but I read the ingredients and it contains salicylic acid, daily exfoliation would flake my whole face off. They refused to tell me the concentration of salicylic acid in the product when I asked in an email. Really turned me off from CeraVe, I feel like companies need to disclose how much exfoliating acids or retinol their products contain.
the foaming cleanser is more geared for normal to oily skin so it would probably be too harsh/drying if u already suffering from dry skin
Thank you
Could you possibly recommend an alternative to benzoyl peroxide for those of us that are allergic to that specific ingredient? and any thoughts on oil based cleansers?
I wonder if this is for people with specific issues. For me, facewash + moisturizer does it all.
Is the CeraVe hydrating cleanser the same as the CeraVe hydrating "facial" cleanser? I live in Asia currently and I only find the hydrating cleanser, so I'm wondering if I can still use that on my face.
