At this point I'm not sure who's who and what's what. But in this video Tweedy Outdoors looks like he weighs seven stone. And the Tweedy Pubs guy looks 15 stone. Is it the hat? If so, start selling Tweedy Hats in your Merch store.

    • @tweedyoutdoors

@@eduardo7309 Could be the camera lens? When doing outdoors videos I always use the wide angle option on my camera, but recently for some of the pub videos I've been shooting more in linear because I blend in a lot more footage taken with my phone (interior shots etc), and I thought it might look more consistent.
It sounds counterintuitive but I actually think I look a bit less fat when I'm using wide angle... Or perhaps I just sweated off a few stone in this extreme heat on this occasion?
For what it's worth I actually weigh just over 12 stone so it seems both portrayals are a bit off the mark!

Thanks Tweedy for sharing your traditional walk with us. The South Downs look very green and lush - that's the upside of having a rainy summer.
There's this phenomenon that wine which tasted amazing on vacation isn't quite the same when tried again back home. Apparently the location has a noticeable influence on how wine is perceived. So having this English sparkling looking onto the vineyard where the grapes are grown makes a lot of sense. Cheers!🥂☺

Thanks Kathi! Yes this year in particular the South Downs were looking beautifully verdant - I actually commented on that in a bit of deleted footage. In at least one previous year when I had done this summer outing that definitely wasn't the case!

Another great video. You have to be careful with 'cows'. You never know how much cow they are. My car broke down in the dark once and I took a short cut across a field to reach a pub where I knew there would be a phone (pre cell phone days). I saw some 'cows'. They turned out to be bullocks. I shooed them and most ran, except one. He butted me in the chest and knocked me down. He had horns about four or five inches long. He made as though to gore me, so I grasped his horns as one would a motorbike handlebars. I was surprised to find they were warm. He dragged me around the field and also stood on me a few times. I managed to let go with one hand and slap his head. He ran off. I walked to the pub. Standing at the phone I noticed everyone at the bar staring at me. I looked down. My clothes were covered in muddy hoof prints.
