Twosun without a doubt is premium BANG for the buck..I will put them up against any brand for the same dollar value..if this was Reate it would cost triple..which would be a hard sell..yes I'm a Twosun fanMan..lol
When they hit a home run it's fantastic!!! It's like getting a $500 knife for $130. Not all of them are that good though, so watch the reviews. I've had a few QC issues from them, I get the impression they save money on advertising, packaging, and QC. White Mountain is the best Twosun vendor since they're domestic and their return policy is great.
Jerad, I did some research, and Yang Jiang, China is very proud of their cutlery heritage, which is why they probably put this on the knife. The government site for Yang Jiang actually states the following, "Yangjiang has long enjoyed a good reputation for its traditional handicraft articles and hardware knives & scissors production which are most special industries there. After a long time of development, there are more than 1500 hardware knives & scissors enterprises in Yangjiang which occupy more than half of those in China. The output of daily hardware knives & scissors manufacturers in Yangjiang occupies 60% of those in China and the export occupies 80%. The products are sold to Europe, America, Japan, and other 100 foreign countries and regions. Yangjiang has become the largest knives and scissors production and export base in China." Got one on the way, but looks like they are now making a number of previously Sandvik blades in D2 now. Not sure if it's pricing or materials availability. Couldn't agree more on certain TS models really in the upper range with much more expensive and highly regarded brands. My favorites in this category are the TS190 Cobra and TD223 by Jelly Jerry. Nuff said! 👍🔥🗡️
I think I'm gonna buy this knife. I really love the way it looks and the size of it is in the range of what I like. It's also plain titanium and just plain steel colors so it'll be good for customizing as well. The one big thing is really don't like about this knife compared to other two sun knives I've seen online is it says big and bold on the pivot that it's made in China. I know Chinese knives now a days are very good from some companies, but still, noone like seeing China on about anything lol.
Cool video Jarod....twosuns are pretty sweet knives as I have like 5. The first was a lil front flipper ts 199. That's a nice knife though...take care.
Beautiful knife, loving that it's on the larger size also for big handed people like me. Looks to have great ergonomics as well. Been a fan of Sandvic steel forever starting with Mora knives and at this price with good titanium it's amazing what your get for your money. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
Got one a while back and it's awesome. Fantastic for the price, got mine for under $70. Was a bit tight at first but broke in great and fast. Have to agree with the branding being too much, would've been nice if the pivot collar just said twosun and had the designers logo, or even better nothing. Maybe twosun knew they had a real winner to be proud of and couldn't resist.

Love the look of this one. The writing on the pivot collar makes it look the a shell casing. Unfired on one side, fired on the other side. It’s kinda neat. That being said, I could live without it. Twosun has really upped their game. Especially the higher model numbers. This is probably one that will eventually get produced with M390, S90v etc.
I love the design. 3.75" of blade is a bit scary here in Europe unfortunately.😔 Personally... I love the lettering in the pivot. 😂😂😂😂😂 I see something vintage on it, and I like it. A lot! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@NeevesKnives I love the TS-191, for example. Even if I don't like flippers and the kind of tip the knife has, it's one of my favourites. Bizarre, but there's something addicting on it. But... I find it a bit scary to use. I feel like it would scare here people used to not seeing knives.
This one caught me eye because it's shiny Ti and interesting milling pattern on the scales. I'm also a sucker for a harpoon-ish blade shape. Like you, I was surprised by the incredibly solid build quality. Glad I picked this one up. Thanks for the review!

I have been trying to find this model for months and finally found one on Amazon and just checked after watching this video and the one I got is D2 I wonder why they are making in D2 instead of the 14c28n ? I would rather have that then D2 that’s for sure but I guess it’s better than not hail I g one at all but I feel like they went the Cheeper rout by switching to the D2. Beautiful knife though can’t wait to get my hands on it. Thanks for sharing. Great video.

After watching your reviews of this and the 301 I bought both from your linked seller in the same order. Payed for both and only received the 301 with both saying they were delivered. Pretty bummed after the wait and it being my first twosun. Hopefully he will respond to my message. The 301 is awesome though.
Hey, I bought a heretic wraith battleworn manual , but the frame lock is too far to the right when it is open, is this considered lock stick?how can I fix this, I contacted heretic they have not replied yet, the place I bought it from offered a refund but this knife in manual is hard to find , what should I do
Got the ts66 ti in last week and have two other twosuns coming in this week (double detention one and the 229). Love it. Just needed a little nano oil on the detent. Stop making me look at these I’m more likely to buy them!
My collection is not the greatest but I do have a variety of lower end knives from Benchmade, Spyderco, Kansept, Artisan Cutlery to name a few. The only knives I have to routinely test to make sure I cannot touch the blade in the closed position are my Two Sun's. Out of the 16 that I own, 4 have that problem. None of the other 28 knives have it. A little odd but I wouldn't give up any of the Two Sun's for anything. It's great to hear you gushing about a knife and I have learned so much from your videos this past year. God willin and the creek don't rise I'll have a few more years to collect and learn. From 🇨🇦...stay safe and sharp.
I think I’m first. Hey Jerad. Some are very very good - design-wise, they’re hit or miss , but build quality and fit and finish is off the charts for the price. The milling and the extra details are incredible. But I hatttttttte the ramped detent ball path on every two sun I have. I would rather no ramping than the aggressive and crazy ass ramping that they have going on (helllllla dramatic). And the action on every single two sun wants to push itself back into the locked position due to the ramping etc. they are the king of “almost perfect” and then they have some serious flaws that will keep it from being great - but for the price you can’t beat it. It gives civivi a run for their money because they can’t offer Ti and budget steel for under $100.
Imo when ramps are not placed well they can suck this one imo works great because it's early and no flipper tab, ramps technically are a safety feature so the detent doesn't get torn out or chipped so in a way it will insure the knife lasts longer preventing future issues, which I recently seen happen to someone's knife with no ramp

Civivi better watch out for them Two Sun's coming in titanium and decent steel for the same price as the new Nox and Purf coming in stainless frame locks. They get much more traction and it's going to price check some of these other company's 🤑 that are getting a bit to happy nowadays 🤣

I have 3, one in hand and 2 on their way. The one I have in hand, a ts403, is unusual and superb. The ones I have coming, a ts388 and a ts269 (the knife reviewed here) are promising! I can hardly wait to check them out! All, altogether, came to about $200, this one $100, which I think will be a bargain!

I've got those studs on the ts318, once I felt out how to use them I love them. Perfect detent, sweet studs, and drop shut on a $68 full ti, & a14c28n blade that looks as good as ad20.5 wharny🤙

I love mine as well. It’s taking a bit longer to break in than my other recent thumbstud Twosuns (TS301 and TS311) but it’s smoothing out nicely and the looks are stunning.

I think they were unable to get the Sandvik steels, so they had to improvise

One of the qualities in a knife that I admire most is a high quality:price ratio… and at $80 street, this knife has a very good one.

Yeah I'd say the 267, 223, 301, 269, 162 titanium, 190, 240, 195 are all great options I haven't tried the ts196

I guess I had better luck with my (2) Twosuns. My ramp works perfectly on them. Nice and easy onto the blade and no slip-back.

CRK Sebenza has bronze washers, not bearings.
I am good with the Sanvik, but I have never understood the random steel choices with these Twosun knives.
Most of there steels are 14c28n and m390 or s90v, they have older models in d2

I've got those studs on the ts318, once I felt out how to use them I love them. Perfect detent, sweet studs, and drop shut on a $68 full ti, & a14c28n blade that looks as good as ad20.5 wharny🤙
My 318 is one of my new favorite twosun..can't keep it out of my EDC carry..love it..

@@knaftasticedc956 yea I liked the looks, but wasn't sure. The proportions ended up being excellent, that sort wide for it's size blade and that dip on top is perfect for the thumb it index for precision 🤙
I love mine as well. It’s taking a bit longer to break in than my other recent thumbstud Twosuns (TS301 and TS311) but it’s smoothing out nicely and the looks are stunning.
